What can one say about this book? Got this e-arc yesterday and couldn't put it down. This is a perfect spooky season read. This book was the slow burn I needed. It gave me Buffy meets Charmed vibes. Justice for Remi. All she wanted to do is to protect McKenna.

This was such a steamy novel and I was enjoying the journey overall. It had that romance element that worked with the magical element was overall a winner. Katie Hallahan has a great writing style that uses the characters in a way that I was wanting. This novel left me wanting more and I enjoyed what I read a lot, I thought it was a great idea to have a demon ex and how it played out in this story.
