This is a fun story which I'm sure children will enjoy. The illustrations are cute and colourful too.
I think this will work better as a physical copy as my digital copy had some issues with the layout which affected my enjoyment of this book.
The little Duck, with all the luck by L.K Brodie and the illustrator, is Kiran Akram is a children's book about luck, growing up, family, and a big adventure. This book was super cute with beautiful and colourful illustrations throughout. It tells a story about six little ducklings who all live together with their mum, beside a small baby pond near some large bushy trees.
One beautiful sunny morning, Mummy Duck gathers all her little ducklings around to take them out on their first big adventure.
I wonder what sights the six 🐥 ducklings might see along the winding path, far beyond their small baby pond?
So sit tight and enjoy their adventure........
As all six 🐥 ducklings are getting excited to go on this new adventure with their mum.
Their mum will teach them new things about themselves, especially one little 🐥 who wants to learn more!
I was lucky enough to have my nephew O to read and review this book. O did enjoy this book, especially the pictures. He said they were very colourful and fun, but he found this book too young for him. But it's great for small children.
He gave it 5 🌟 for the illustrations, but 3 🌟 for the story.
Big thank you to Literally pr for our copy of this book and for us to be a part of this tour.
O says Thank you as well x
The Little Duck With All the Luck was an enjoyable story.
It was well laid out, the images are nice, bright and clear and they bring the story to life.
The story was cute and fun, but as a mum I had expected a little more and I didn't feel that the story really went anywhere and it could have been a little better to get it to be 5 stars
It is 3 stars from me for this one
A cute story for toddlers and up! A great read for siblings as the story follows one duckling who seems to be the luckiest amongst his siblings.
I loved the illustrations in this book. It’s colorful and bright and the ducks are so cute. This was a cute idea for a story but somehow it didn’t read as a little kid’s book. The wording didn’t quite flow and the end seemed rushed and a little over my kids’ heads. My 6 year old said it was a good book, my 4 year old lost interest right away. Thank you to NetGalley for my copy!
I read this book last night to my 2.5 year old. He really enjoyed the pictures, but I think the story may be for older kids. I enjoyed and think it'll be great for an older crowd!
Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for this advance readers copy in exchange for my honest feedback. I choose to read this one in my iPad instead of my kindle to get the full illustrations in colour. Beautiful bright colours of yellow blue and green pop throughout this book. The little lesson behind this storey is a very good one. If you believe in yourself good things can happen!!! Growing up with five siblings I always felt and even to this day that I was born with all the bad luck. So it kinda stuck with me as I grew older. A lesson here is maybe I just need to change my mindset…. I haven’t read a children’s book since my kids were little so I kinda miss those short stories with lessons. And I am excited to review more!
