Of Collection of Nashville Cocktails. That even as a Kentucky girl who loves her bourbon I found it interesting and can't wait to try a few of them.
Nashville Cocktails includes several cocktail recipes inspired by or made in Nashville. It's a lovely way to shine a spotlight on the city through cocktails.

Accuracy: ★★★★☆
The recipes are carefully crafted to replicate the signature flavours of Nashville’s finest bars, and each one is clearly written, making it easy to follow at home. The book could benefit from additional notes on ingredient sourcing for readers outside the city, but the instructions are precise, ensuring a quality experience.
Perspective: ★★★★☆
Ramsey’s perspective combines both appreciation and insider knowledge of Nashville's bar culture, which adds an authentic voice to the collection. By including stories about each featured mixologist and bar, the book provides readers with a rich, behind-the-scenes look at Nashville’s evolving cocktail scene.

Given the rising popularity of Nashville as both a tourist destination and a hotspot for mixology, this book is highly relevant. It offers more than just recipes; it’s a guide to the city’s current cocktail trends and a celebration of its local flavour, making it valuable for both residents and fans.
Engagement: ★★★★☆
The blend of recipes, bartender profiles, and vibrant imagery makes this book engaging, offering a sense of place that goes beyond simple drink-making. Readers are taken on a mini tour of Nashville’s best spots, although a few more interactive elements like a flavor pairing guide could add to its appeal.
Readability: ★★★★☆
The layout is clean, with straightforward instructions that make it easy to follow each recipe. The addition of bartender tips and notes on specific drink origins enhances readability, although some readers may want more visuals for step-by-step guidance.
Enjoyment: ★★★★☆

This book offers both an enjoyable read and a handy recipe collection, perfect for those who want to experience Nashville’s charm from anywhere. A delightful choice for fans of creative cocktails and Music City alike.
Oh, this book is so cool and I wished I could visit Nashville just to cross some bars off my list and to try some exciting cocktails - even the Killjoy bar/shop. This book is part cocktails, part history, part culture and it introduces you to some fun humans in the drinking industry.
I am not the biggest fan of whiskey but this book made me want to try more cocktails with it - plus I already know I love the Lynchburg Lemonade and it was invested here so...
Plus I love the saying Nashville is a drinking city with a music problem!
Well guess I’ll be planning a road trip to Nashville sooner than expected bc this book is awesome! I want to go to all these places and drink these cocktails. With this book I’ll be making them at home too!
Nashville cocktails did a great job of not only sharing great sounding cocktail recipes, but also sharing Nashville history. This would be a great book to gift this holiday season or the perfect book to pick up on your Nashville vacation.

4.5 Stars
Nashville might be famous for its country music and honkytonk bars but Delia Jo Ramsey's new cocktail cookbook sets out to prove the city has some of the best mixologists in the country. This is a collection of recipes from some of the local hotspots. The book is broken up into areas of the town featuring profiles on bars/restuarants and some of the creators. Each entry includes a photo, glassware suggestion, ingredient list and easy to follow instructions. I loved that there are a wide variety of spirits with creative syrups (basil honey syrup, watermelon-shiso shrub) unique liqueurs (sotol or giffard piment d'espelette) or just fun toppings (candied country ham). This collection is creative and distinctive, think brown butter old fashioned, bruleed banana daiquiri or wasabi martini. I enjoyed the couple we have tried and can not wait to whip up some more, and now I have a list of places to visit next time I am in Nashville. I highly recommend adding this to your cocktail cookbook collection!
Cocktail recipes from restaurants and bars in the Nashville area. Many of the drinks are music themed. Great way to select your nighttime destination. Pictures of all drinks and most establishments. Although are recipes are included most would be better ordered at the bar. Read, drink, and enjoy.
As someone who visits Nashville often, I loved this cocktail book! Split up by Nashville neighborhood, each neighborhood gets bar spotlights as well as the people behind the scenes of those bars and their drinks! So so cool, and could be the perfect gift for someone who is moving their soon or lives there already and wants to make their favorite bar drinks at home!
Some of the cocktails in this book look really delicious but they sound complicated to make, definitely ones to drink in a bar rather than make for yourself at home, unless you are already seasoned at making your own herb infused simple syrup, for example . There is a lot of background included in the book about Nashville, alcohol, the cocktails and the bars you can drink them in - it's more than just a book of recipes. It many ways it feels like more of a tour guide for people going to Nashville.
A beautifully constructed book that details wonderful locations and featured cocktails. I read them with delight and tasted them with my imagination. I love to visit and partake but now I am experience it a bit at home! I'm pleased with the opportunity to read this on Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
My husband and I recently visited Tennessee and enjoyed the unique libations, so I was intrigued by this title! This cookbook is very comprehensive and I loved the variety of cocktails. There are so many unique drinks with local ingredients and flavors. This would make an excellent gift for the cocktail lover or traveler.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ebook. All thoughts are my own.
I love having a cocktail so this book gave me so many Nashville inspired cocktails to try out and I am excited to test them
Nashville Cocktails is more than just a recipe book, Ramsey's writing brings Nashville's vibrant culture and American history to life—straight from the bars to readers at home. I was delightfully surprised by the historical focus of this cocktail book. I hadn't known how the post-Prohibition Movement affected the city and the Nashville liquor-by-the-drink tax rate. Ramsey takes a unique approach to sharing the art of mixology with several song references and drinking tips. I particularly appreciated the nod to local bars in each recipe with their address to illustrate an alcohol roadmap for those who love trying new places, traveling to Nashville, or looking for a good time.
Thank you to NetGalley for letting me read and review this book.
Nashville Cocktails is fun in a book! I love Nashville's vibe, and this book gives you that vibe from afar. You get cocktails, drinks, and get the feel of the city. Whether you've been to Nashville or not, you'll enjoy this book. I love a "cookbook" with stories, and this also gives us that. Loved it.
Thank you to Cider Mill Press and NetGalley for a digital ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Well designed book with interesting local insider stories and highlights, with a plethora of cocktail recipes and a solid understanding of the city. That said, I don't know how broad the appeal will be outside of large cocktail book collections.
This book is delightful, and packed with so much history and charm. You are not only getting a collection of unique cocktails, you're also getting an insider's recommendation of the best drinking holes in Nashville. Nashville has been on my travel bucket list for years. This book has inspired me to book a trip and visit each of the spotlighted neighborhoods and bars. Definitely buying this in hard copy when it comes out. I can't wait to try these cocktails both at home and in-person in Nashville. Thank you #NetGalley for the opportunity to review this ARC.
I really liked this and it’s nice to have some unique cocktails. I have sent the to my cocktail making person because I only do French martinis most of the time!
The photography and the history of the cocktails is a really cool addition and I am looking forward to tasting them.
One thing I would love to have added is a conversions page so if sold world wide it would be easy to look at mls or in shots term.
Thank you NetGalley for letting me read and review this book.
Nashville Cocktails is a vibrant mixology guide that celebrates Music City's spirit through over 100 diverse recipes inspired by Nashville's culture, history, and music. The book offers well-curated drinks for all tastes, accompanied by beautiful photography and engaging stories, making it a must-have for cocktail enthusiasts and Nashville fans alike.
While not all of these recipes appeal to me personally (whiskey and bourbon aren’t my usual choice for spirits), there are a ton of good recipes in this book, as well as good short stories about the areas of Nashville and the bars of the city. This is actually a book that I would recommend to any drink-lover who is planning on visiting Nashville - and one that I would use myself - as it talks about specific bars and their specialities. Recommended.
