Miss Rath can do no wrong. This book was just as magically addictive as the other two in the series and immediately made me reread them. Can’t wait for the final book in the series but it will be bittersweet to say goodbye to the Rays.

I have been waiting for this book since the beginning. The way I’ve been obsessed with Poppy and her men should be embarrassing, but i’m not embarrassed at all. Because Lukas, Colton, and Poppy are so good. I love them. I don’t love Tess and Ryan’s book (even though I do love Tess and Ryan as characters), so I was a little bit worried, but I had nothing to worry about. Emily Rath can write the crap out of a queer romance.
One of the tropes listed for this book is Bi-Awakening. And while that is true the way it’s done is so refreshing. Our MMCs don’t fight with themselves. They aren’t like “bUt I’m NoT gAy” at any time. They just realize and accept that they’ve developed feelings for each other. There isn’t some inner turmoil. It was mentioned like “I’ve never been into another guy before but I’m super into him” and that was it. I loved it. We also didn’t have a big hullabaloo about these men being in a gay relationship. The horribleness was from Poppy’s parent’s who are southern Republican political royalty. So I already knew where that was going.
Speaking of Poppy’s parents….is there a worse villain than Annmarie St James? I hated her more than Troy. And that’s really saying something. Anderson was a jerk yeah, but Annmarie? As a mother I do not understand that level of cruelty towards your own child. At least Jake’s parents seem to maybe want to understand but don’t know how? I don’t know about them. Maybe we will go more Compton Parents in book 5. But man, Poppy’s mom and brother are a piece of work. Her dad seems like a typical absent dad and that doesn’t really have a big effect on me.
I think Lukas, Poppy, and Cole are the perfect throuple. That all being different things to the relationship and balance each other out. I love them all and they were all great. Even though I know as a Scorpio myself I could not handle Lukas at all. See? Cole is like “you think you’re worthless? Love bomb.” I would be like “you’re not worthless for the reasons you think you are. You’re just annoying as hell and need to get over it dude” but feeling the same feelings at the same time 😂 Scorpios man. We are a complicated people.
AND NOW WE WAIT! PEA V3 will be out, and then Henrik and Teddy!! I can’t wait. But until then, Poppy takes the cake for my favorite Emilyverse FMC.

Pucking Sweet by Emily Rath is an enjoyable sports romance with a fun mix of humor, heart, and heat. The characters are likable, and the chemistry between them is believable, making for some sweet and steamy moments. The hockey setting adds a nice backdrop, though the plot occasionally feels predictable. While it drags a bit in some areas, the emotional moments and playful banter keep it engaging. Overall, it’s a solid read for sports romance fans.

Thank you NetGalley for this review copy.
This was a great read! I liked the other books in this series more, but it was definitely fun to see into Poppy's life!

Maybe 2.5 ⭐️? This one fell a little flat for me. Took me longer to read, just wasn’t as captivating as I had hoped it would be. MMF romance, some banter, pace just dragged.
I received this book from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.

I have never read anything by this author, but I will be looking out for other books they write in the future. I really enjoyed the story as well as the pacing of the story.

Pucking Sweet is book three in the Jacksonville Rays series by Emily Rath. I’ve loved this series from the beginning. I’m so invested in the characters of all of the lives of the different characters. This one is a why choose, surprise pregnancy romance with a stressed out public relations director and two very determined hockey players. The time line of this book runs alongside the two previous books which was kind of cool. And wow, what an ending!!!

Pucking Sweet by Emily Rath is the third instalment in the popular Jackson Rays series, and it delivers another dose of steamy sports romance with a “why choose” twist. When PR director Poppy St. James discovers she’s unexpectedly pregnant, her carefully constructed life is thrown into disarray. Complicating matters further is her growing attraction to not one, but two of the team’s star players: the charismatic and unpredictable Lukas Novikov and the kind-hearted and supportive Colton Hayes.
This book explores themes of career ambition, unexpected life changes, and the complexities of modern relationships. Rath masterfully captures the chemistry between the characters, creating a captivating love triangle that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. While some may find the length of the novel excessive, the engaging storyline and well-developed characters ultimately make it a compelling read for fans of the series.
Pucking Sweet offers a blend of humour, romance, and introspection, making it a satisfying addition to the Jackson Rays series. With its focus on strong female characters and its exploration of contemporary relationships, this novel will resonate with readers who enjoy steamy romances with a touch of emotional depth.

Thank you to Netgalley and the Publishing Company for this Advanced Readers Copy of Pucking Sweet by Emily Rath!

This book was a fun, steamy, and emotional read with great character dynamics and an engaging storyline. The romance was sizzling, the banter was entertaining, and the chemistry was undeniable. It had the perfect mix of spice, humor, and heart, making it a thoroughly enjoyable addition to the series!

A spicy why choose sports romance. If you’ve been following this series, you’ll want to pick it up. It’ll hook you from the beginning and keep you entertained and rooting for them throughout!

This is the 3d book in the Jacksonville series. It’s really hard for me to pick a favorite book out of all three. I have to say that this book is so fun and I had so many emotions reading this wonderful story.I Loved the characters so much and got teary eyed during certain parts of the book. I can’t wait for the next book in the series, they just keep getting better and better.

Not enough plot for my personal taste. The smut got overwhelming and it just didn't have tropes I would love.

Despite being utterly in love with the other books in this series, this one really took. a lot out of me to finish. It was overwhelmingly spicy to the point were it was about 90% spice and 10% plot. With that being said, I didn't have much opportunity to fall for the characters despite the massive length of this book because they were just constantly going it. Now I'm in no way a prude or new to smut, but compared to the other novels the focus of this one definitely leaned more towards the erotica side of things.

This was a very sweet and heartwarming read, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Emily Rath does an excellent job with writing complex, thoughtful characters!

Wow. I'm a sucker for a hockey romance and Emily Rath has long been a favourite of mine. Sitting down to read this, I knew it was going to be an amazing read. I loved all the romantic elements, but I especially liked seeing the relationship between the boys emerge as they had their bi-awakening and went from really struggling to becoming very close. There was amazing character and relationship development and I loved all the cameos of characters from other books.
As a writer Emily is funny and definitely knows how to write a good spicy scene. I have been recommending this to every hockey romance book lover I know!

This is the 3rd book in the Jacksonville Rays hockey series. There are a lot of hockey romances out, but this series is one of best in my opinion. The characters are well drawn and I like that the players have normal ups and downs.
Poppy is the PR Director for the Rays. She ends up falling for 2 players, Colton and Novy. She can’t decide between the two men, and neither wants to give her up, so they all live together and become a family
Trigger warning, graphic sex, polyamory, threesomes, language. This book isn’t for you if you prefer closed door romances.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley, I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Reviewing to clear my shelf--i have NOT read this yet but grabbed it so i have once i have finished the first two in this series! The cover on this one is fantastic and i hope i love a much as the others!

I hate (HATE) pregnancy related romances SO much, and yet somehow this one was an incredibly satisfying read. Perfectly spiced, love the hockey element's, and the love story between the three of them never felt fake or forced. Huge win!

Really enjoyed finally getting Poppy's story. I loved the banter in books 1 & 2 btw Poppy and Novak. You could really feel the sexual tension between the 2 of them, so it was fun to see their story. The bi-awakening scene with Lukas and Colton in the shower was hot. Love to see the spice Emily Rath comes up with.
