A good entertaining romance. I enjoyed the story and the characters however at times i found the MMC to be annoying because of his attitude and unwillingness to listen to others - an easy read and a quick one

Thank you Netgalley for this book. I recently read book 1 in the series and loved it so i couldn't wait to get back in and read the next one! I did love this one also but i felt i didn't love the characters as much as book 1. I will defiantly be reading more in the series!

Pretty solid! Short, sweet, and my favorite by Sasha Lace so far!

Reece, Miri’s brother from the first book, makes such a great MMC. He’s a psychologist who needs a break from the fast paced hospital gig (especially in the wake of his mother’s health scares and his recent breakup). Gabe, his brother-in-law just so happens to own a professional women’s soccer club and invites him to try being the team psychologist. Reece accepts the job, but his boundaries and ethical principles are pushed to the limit when he falls for the team captain, Skylar. It’s probably worth mentioning that he’s been pining after her since they were children in school together.

Skylar (FMC) is a fierce team captain who pushes herself and takes what she wants…professionally speaking. Off the field, she’s in a toxic relationship with her celebrity soccer playing boyfriend. She’s been with him since high school, they own a home together, and he’s been cheating on her and manipulating her for years. Finally she gives him the boot, while getting back on her feet she happens to meet wholesome and caring Reece.

It’s worth noting that the author does a great job ensuring that the relationship avoids any icky power dynamics or poor ethics. Skylar was never a patient of Reece’s, but they do work together.

Thanks Netgalley and the publishers for this ARC.

This is the second book in a series, but can be read as a standalone. sweet quick read. I read in two afternoons.

This was another quick read that I enjoyed but I didn't like it as much as the others. I think I mainly had an issue with Reece and how he saw his position in the team. I grew frustrated with his professional excuses but I really liked Skylar and thought her character development was well done.

This series is amazing! Reece is HOT! Skylar and Reece definitely have things to work through but damn, they work. I didn't want to put this book down! Another winner by Sasha Lace!

Reece.. ugh I both loved and wanted to smack some sense into him. For a therapist he sure needed his own help.

Most definitely enjoyed this book way more than the first. It was a fun read and and i really like Skylar and Reece. As women's football is becoming more and more popular recently, I think this series will be a huge hit.

It was good. It kept my attention but i didn’t really connect with the characters. If you are looking for a fun light hearted read then read this book.

Such a fantastic read and series. I loved the characters and all the connections from book to book. They all felt like a family by the end and really linked so well together.

The angst and spice served AGAIN! I loved Reece's story just as much as his sister's, and Skyler is such a mood!

I read the entire series from net galley and overall the series is a 4 star for me. This is the second book. I will say that this was a 4.25 star read for me. I loved the couple more than the last one but i simply didn't really like the reason that they weren't together from the beginning. Reece is a very complicated character but still i definitely enjoyed this. It didn't give off five star feeling but none of the books in the series did. These books are the perfect length for romance books and are mazing pallet cleansers after a fantasy book. I will definitely re read this series at some point

This was such a good book. I really enjoyed it. More than I thought I would. I loved the writing style. This book had me hooked from page one. This is a first for me by this author but will not be my last!!

I was very excited to see that we were now going to be following the life of Reece - he was definitely the sibling I found myself the most attached to whilst reading Miri's story and what a story Sasha has given him! Reece is that dreamy guy who on the outside is very geeky, however on the inside he had a complete different side waiting to be unleashed and Skylar was the lucky girl to experience that side. Now, Reece did frustrate me at times with the boundaries he kept setting in place for no reason whatsoever but he came through in such a romantic way that I can look away. I really loved Skylar, she was unapologetically herself no matter how much someone wanted to tear her down and she was a very admirable main character. This was a sweet romance filled with healing and a whole lot of love. Another in the series I absolutely adore!

This was a good book but I don’t think it was as good as the first book in the series. I just feel like the ending was pretty rushed and at a point in the book there was just continuous scenes of back to back smut which even though was part of the storyline felt a bit over the top. However, I did still enjoy this book it was just a few minor parts that affected my overall rating

This was a fun, spicy sports romance series! Loved the interconnected characters and how they had real problems, but it was still an escape read.
