This was another quick read that I enjoyed but I didn't like it as much as the others. I think I mainly had an issue with Reece and how he saw his position in the team. I grew frustrated with his professional excuses but I really liked Skylar and thought her character development was well done.

This series is amazing! Reece is HOT! Skylar and Reece definitely have things to work through but damn, they work. I didn't want to put this book down! Another winner by Sasha Lace!

Reece.. ugh I both loved and wanted to smack some sense into him. For a therapist he sure needed his own help.

Most definitely enjoyed this book way more than the first. It was a fun read and and i really like Skylar and Reece. As women's football is becoming more and more popular recently, I think this series will be a huge hit.

It was good. It kept my attention but i didnβt really connect with the characters. If you are looking for a fun light hearted read then read this book.

Such a fantastic read and series. I loved the characters and all the connections from book to book. They all felt like a family by the end and really linked so well together.

The angst and spice served AGAIN! I loved Reece's story just as much as his sister's, and Skyler is such a mood!

I read the entire series from net galley and overall the series is a 4 star for me. This is the second book. I will say that this was a 4.25 star read for me. I loved the couple more than the last one but i simply didn't really like the reason that they weren't together from the beginning. Reece is a very complicated character but still i definitely enjoyed this. It didn't give off five star feeling but none of the books in the series did. These books are the perfect length for romance books and are mazing pallet cleansers after a fantasy book. I will definitely re read this series at some point

Another enjoyable book in the series. Lace did a great job creating an easy to read and digest story! I thank NetGalley for the ARC.

I was very excited to see that we were now going to be following the life of Reece - he was definitely the sibling I found myself the most attached to whilst reading Miri's story and what a story Sasha has given him! Reece is that dreamy guy who on the outside is very geeky, however on the inside he had a complete different side waiting to be unleashed and Skylar was the lucky girl to experience that side. Now, Reece did frustrate me at times with the boundaries he kept setting in place for no reason whatsoever but he came through in such a romantic way that I can look away. I really loved Skylar, she was unapologetically herself no matter how much someone wanted to tear her down and she was a very admirable main character. This was a sweet romance filled with healing and a whole lot of love. Another in the series I absolutely adore!

This was a good book but I donβt think it was as good as the first book in the series. I just feel like the ending was pretty rushed and at a point in the book there was just continuous scenes of back to back smut which even though was part of the storyline felt a bit over the top. However, I did still enjoy this book it was just a few minor parts that affected my overall rating

This was a fun, spicy sports romance series! Loved the interconnected characters and how they had real problems, but it was still an escape read.

This book was amazing! The story was very
Well written and the romance was so cute! Would highly
Recommend!

If I loved the 1st book, it was nothing compared to this one. This one is a five star read. I love absolutely everything about this story.
For Reece and his nuterer and giver personality. For his kindness, strength, tenderness, sensitivity, unconditional love and worship for Skylar, trying to do the right thing even if he has to sacrifice himself. For the way he constantly gives without knowing how to receive and shut his feelings. For the way he listens, understands, helps and is always there for Skylar and his family. I got so personally attached to this character, having seen myself in him.
For Skylar and all the cracks and vulnerabilities that lie beneath her mask of a strong woman who is immune to anything. For the way she opens up to Reece, realizing that she deserves more and better, understanding and accepting her body.
And last but not least, for the way Sasha's writing was more intense, passionate, romantic, moving, addictive, dealing with the imperfection of sexual relationships and the kindness and understanding a couple must have. I don't know what kind of magic Sasha puts into her books, but every time, she keeps me reading her stories in one sitting, in 24h, unable to put the book down.

I really enjoyed this book! Skylar was my absolute favorite. I really enjoyed watching her character grow and become more confident in herself.

Author is new to me.
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC

I really enjoyed this story - I thought that it was a really good!
The book had a well developed storyline that was strong and well planned romantic read.
This is the second book in the series but it reads fine as a stand alone and I haven't read the first book as yet..
I found that the book was well written and I liked the character development.
A wonderful romantic and sexy story - A school boy crush turns in to so much more.
it is 4 stars from me for this one - highly recommended and I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for my copy of this book.
I did enjoy it but minimally, I felt as though a lot of this book was purely smut and even though it did have deeper meaning the writing was surface level and didnβt actually show Reece as well as the author thought she was. Even in his POV it was written as if he didnβt actually want skylar bur wanted her to go away.
I understand this isnβt what the author meant but it mostly how it come across sadly. It felt a lot more list than love and it was crazy insta love, their relationship loved way too fast especially since skylar was post break up. The time line didnβt seem very long.

This was my favourite book in the series so far, mainly because Reece was the perfect book boyfriend. I loved how tightly wound up he was yet every interaction with Skylar left him feeling completely out of control ("feral") like a teenager. Skylar, despite struggling with her self-esteem after an abusive relationship, was always in charge of her own story, and I loved her dynamic with Reece which was so loving but also sizzling with spice. Having said that, there were times when I just wanted to knock some sense into Reece - I wish he'd come to his senses earlier so we could have had a few more chapters with them as an established couple.

Spicy and fun
Skylar is the captain of Calverdale Ladies football club but her life changes when she breaks up with her boyfriend, darling of the menβs team Sean, but support comes in the guise of Reece, a psychologist who has been hired to help the team be in the best place for the end of the season who has liked Skylar from afar since they were at school together (all of this is revealed in the first few chapters so no spoilers!)
I liked Skylar, she felt relatable and incredibly human, the pain and hurt she feels from the breakup came through and as a reader I really emphasised with her. Reece was a harder character for me to bond with, he has some obsessive qualities that I struggled with but I also understand how things affect him, his internal conflicts and the way that these manifest in his life. Once I got to know him better as a character I started to like him more, until he did something stupid, and then I was back to not being his biggest fan (this happened a few times for me!)
When I first heard about this series I was excited to read it, it allowed me to see into the world of elite womenβs football and behind the scenes in a way that I hadnβt before. I will admit that this book was the one with the blurb that captured my attention most and Iβm so glad that it did and that it lived up to and surpassed my expectations what I was hoping and dreaming for
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a spicy romance with quirky but loveable characters which will have you hooked right from the start
