We continue in this women's soccer league series with single dad, Alex, and Lana. This, so far, was the most emotional to read of the series. Alex has gone through a lot and is doing the best he can for his son. They both are scared to love and have to overcome some of their pasts. Such a great addition to the series!

As I had all four downloaded, I read them all one after the other. They are quick, feel-good reads, bringing back my own footballing memories from playing for one of the top women's teams in my country.

Lane has created some great 'book role models' for aspiring young female footballers. The male lead characters are supportive, sweet, suitably geeky and all round cinnamon roll book boyfriends...

Book 3 in the series which i am loving! I think i liked this one the most as i really connected with the characters more emotionally. Loving the series which i don't want to end! I recommend this series to everyone who loves an easy romance to get stuck into.

Ladies football player, Lana, is always in search of a good time. After having a one night stand with the men's team newest goalie, she finds herself wanting to get to know him better. But the fact that Alex is older and has a child makes things complicated.

4 stars!!

ME AND SINGLE DAD BOOKS WOOOO I love them so much

this was such a fun read, yet so enjoyable.
the characters have such great emotions that make them feel so so so real.

My second Sasha Lace book (thrid in the series)!

In "Playing for Keeps" we follow Lana (the Wild child) and Alexander (the single dad) which is a troupe that allways works ;)

Yet another sweet, quick and esay read, that hits you right in the feelings!

This is the third book in a series but can be read as a standalone. sweet quick read. I read in two afternoons.

This has got to be my favourite of the series. Alex and Lana were a couple I was rooting for from the start. The single dad trope is always a weakness of mine but I also loved how misunderstood Lana was with everyone. She was a character that I wanted to see succeed. Fast-paced, action-packed and full of romance!

Good quick read. She really knows how to write the spice scenes! I loved Alex and Brodie. Lana was a little pushy? I get she had some serious stuff weighing her down, but dang do these adults make dumb decisions in the means of handling issues themselves. I was hoping the dad would also make a statement calling the journalist out and taking responsibility for his actions, but at least he got help.

This series gets better and better with each book. I adored Lana and Alexander - he was an absolute sweetheart and I love the single dad trope, so I was completely hooked!

It was good. It kept my attention but i didn’t really connect with the characters. If you are looking for a fun light hearted read then read this book.

Such a fantastic read and series. I loved the characters and all the connections from book to book. They all felt like a family by the end and really linked so well together.

I think this Alex & Lana are my favorite out of the four! Plus, I'm a sucker for single dad 😌 This was well-done in all aspects!

I rated this book 3.5 stars I think this may be my favourite in the series so far had the perfect balance of romance to context. I also really enjoyed that it covered some difficult topics such as grief as I think it could really help people going through similar struggles

This book along with the last one f the series were my favorites. Its a 4.5 star read. The only thing is that i didn't get the five star feeling but other than that it was perfect! The character development was amazing. The third act break up wasn't too much and the communication was almost perfect in the books. I loved both of these characters and felt so close to them! It did deal with difficult subjects which is something that everyone should check out before reading this. But i will for sure re read this book in the future!

Really enjoyed this age gap romance, and the footballer heroine is such a well written character!
I’ve read the entire series and enjoyed it so much - it’s got the feel good factor and humour of “Ted Lasso” with the juicy WAG moments of “Footballers Wives”, which just happens to be 2 of my favourite TV series

I liked book 3 the most. The story involving romance between characters with a significant age gap is appealing to me! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

This was such a lovely read between two lost souls and I completely fell in love with Lana and Alex. I felt myself resonating with a lot of Lana's insecurities and really enjoyed her character development throughout. Her relationship with Alex's son, Brodie, was extremely heart-warming and just the sweetest parts of this story. Lana and Alex were definitely meant to be and it was a joy to watch them become a little family.

This was a well written and engaging book with two well developed characters. I enjoyed how different Lana and Alex were and their character development throughout the story. Their chemistry was sizzling from the start, yet also sweet. I particularly related to Alexander trying to make it work as a single dad who lost his partner, and rooted for him to have a happy ending. This series has been really addictive and this was a great addition to it.

This was such a good book. I really enjoyed it. More than I thought I would. I loved the writing style. This book had me hooked from page one. This is a first for me by this author but will not be my last!!
