Raising Resilience is a reassuring resource of balance and understanding in our journeys with our children.
‘Balance’ is a key word here because this is the highlight of this book - safety and connection along with limits, boundaries and routines are what the authors are promoting with this book.
I quite like the idea of anchor - container as well.
I must say, I did not come across groundbreaking or entirely fresh perspectives in this book, but it is certainly a nice addition to parenting literature (I mean as a research realm).
The tone and the support via science are good too.
