A really cute, spicy read! Definitely reminded me of Love Island or other love reality dating shows with the whole premise of the Love Hotel but I actually really liked it! It was a unique storyline, and I think it was done really well. There’s a part near the end with Jasmine and a phone call that just left me feeling really confused, I don’t know if that was leading into a second book, but it felt really weird and out of place to me.
Overall though this was a cute story and I would definitely recommend it!

3.5/5 stars rounded up!
This was such a cute read. The setting reminded me a lot of Love Island or any other dating reality show which was a unique idea. Also, I went in blind and loved the twist of this being a second-chance romance! It took me a few chapters to really get into the book at first but I was glad I stuck with it because this is one of the best ARCs I have read. I would 100% recommend it to anyone wanting a vacation romance read.
Thank you Netgalley!

Cute and Sexy romcom. The plot did stall out at certain points but I was still invested on these two.

Reading about Stella and Max’s time at The Love Hotel felt like watching a game show. The novel was fast paced and filled with multiple different tropes. Made it too good to put down!! During the epilogue we were left with a Jasmine cliff hanger 👀 does this mean book #2.

I love a good second chance romances with the perfect amount of spice🔥
It was nice to see both Max and Stella work out their differences to finding their way back to each other! I’m glad the book wasn’t rushed but well thought out leaving us on the edge of our seat. I liked the idea of the Love Hotel and I felt it was a good idea to come up with when she wrote this making it a big point of the book. Overall this was a quick and easy read and I wouldn’t highly recommend taking a chance on reading it!
Thank you to NetGalley, Olivia Spring and Boldwood Books for the arc copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!

Absolutely loved this book, the perfect holiday read. Storyline kept me interested and the characters were well developed. Wish I could have read on and found out the next steps in the characters journeys! Will definitely look out for and read some of the authors other books

Another fun novel by Olivia Spring - a second chance romance set in a sexy Love Hotel in Spain. I loved the progress between the two main characters, going from hating each other to rebuilding their romantic connection. There's spice, there's angst and there's love

A sweet and spicy, second chance romance is the story of Max and Stella. They were together in their late teens, broke up due to stuff we learn later and fate brings them together in the Love Hotel.
It’s a cute book. I liked the pace, the way they got to know each other again day after day and how Stella reacted towards the end. I would have liked a sign of angst before the end but overall I enjoyed it and had a nice time, with the Spanish scenery and all the songs mentioned. I wish the rating system had 0.5 stars because 3 isn’t doing it justice but 4 seems too much for a book that I probably won’t re-read and whose characters, despite being lovable, won’t be remembered after a while.
-Dual 1st person POV
-Spice: 🌶️🌶️.5
Overall: 3.5/5 ⭐️

I enjoyed reading this book, the story was original and fun!
Stella is kind of forced by her mother to join the Love Hotel, where they find your perfect match. Unfortunately for her, her chosen partner from the matching company is her ex-boyfriend Max. They need to stay in the hotel for two weeks, going on dates, making playlists etc…
I loved the story taking place in Marbella and the setting being in a Love Hotel with all the staff having “special” job titles!
I liked the background story of Max probably more then the story of Stella, I wish there was a bit more of explanantion of her life before signing up to enter the love hotel (past relationships not just the one with Max and maybe a little bit of life in general just to have more background) it would have added so much to the character.
Overall I really enjoyed this book!
Totally recommended 😊

What a unique and fun plot line! A love hotel? Exes thrown back together by the universe? Spain?!
A very fun and quick read that kept me engaged the whole time and made me laugh. The characters are easy to fall in love with and to root for.
You will love this book if you love an enemies to lovers trope but this one isn’t the typical ETL so it isn’t a total cliché.
It is somewhat of a slow burn, but it keeps your attention and gets you invested in the characters and their individual stories. Great read!

Loved this book! It was an easy read with such fun characters, even the background characters were cute. I enjoyed the idea of going to a "love hotel". I wish I could go to something like this with my husband!

Quick, fun read that is perfect for a relaxing holiday - when you don't want anything too deep or serious. Gread beach read.

Honestly I can’t stop thinking about that first chapter! It was so ick!! I could see where the embarrassment might’ve been funny to some but i absolutely hated it.
These characters were alright but overall I didn’t feel much for them. The plot sounded fun but it just didn’t work for me.

I need to be signed up for The Love Hotel. I’m ready to meet my match. When Stella and Max encounter each other for the first time in years at the Love Hotel I knew that sparks were going to fly. And honey, they light up like firecrackers as you navigate this novel. The sexual tension and back and forth will have you finishing this novel in a few hours because you have to know what happens next.
Stella seems to be unlucky, having recently lost her job she moves back home with her mom and helps her with her business. Unfortunately her love life is nonexistent like her job. The ever meddling loving mother that she has decides to sign her up to meet her perfect match at the love hotel.
Max a workaholic who is determined to carry out his mother’s dream has no time for love. But his best friend happy in his own life is determined to see his friend find a love match. Aided by their cute toddler they sign Max up to attend the Love hotel as well.
In the end both Max and Stella discover it just wouldn’t work with someone else because they were meant to be. Stella helps Max to overcome his fear while Max encourages Stella to follow her dream.
I can’t leave without saying that the details of the hotel were not only creative but ingenious. From the job titles to the activities that the couple had to complete. I need someone to make this a real deal place please. I hope that we’ll be seeing a story for the Love Alchemist soon!
So grab your glass of wine and treat yourself.

This started with an unforgettable first scene but I'm not sure that was for the right reasons and I found it a bit off putting. Batteries aside, when Max and Stella get into their Love retreat, it is an interesting dynamic with lots of unanswered questions.
Unusually for this author, I found this one to play on stereotypes a bit more and lack emotional depth. More delving into the back story, or even couple flashbacks from their original relationship may have added another level to this.
But if you are looking for a pool side reader, or something spicy to warm you up this Autumn, this is good escapism.

Spicy story of second chance love. Stella’s mom signs her up for a matchmaking service where she goes to the Love Hotel to meet her match. She ends up matched with her ex Max, who was signed up by his friends. Unable to get refunds, they decide to stick it out and see if each other have matured in the 12 years since they were together. There was lots of spice, but little emotion. I would have enjoyed the story more if there was more than lust. At best, this is a library rental.

This was a quick, fun read. This book reminds me of the TV show Love Island (which I absolutely love) so if that is your kind of thing, I think you would like this book. It's pretty low stakes, nothing surprising really happens and it's pretty predictable, but sometimes that's what I want in a book. It was entertaining, but nothing earth shattering.

I love a good second chance romance and here we are. Stella and Max broke up 12 years ago. Both are single and ignoring dating and romance. Prodded by friends and family, they get sent to the Love Hotel to be set up by a matchmaker who deemed them a perfect match. Needless to say, neither was thrilled to be set up with their ex. They reconnected on the holiday and got their second chance. It was a nice read to see them get to a happy place.

Stella and Max!! I loved them!! What a sweet second chance romance! And I loved how Stella’s mum was involved. It was a different type of second chance and I liked that. It was something different. It kept my interest and to me was a quick read because I couldn’t put it down! You could tell these two loved each other and were always meant to be together. Sweet story!!

ARC Review
This was cuuuute!! It was so funny and I loved all the characters (*hoping for another book in this world!!*) It's a quick lighthearted read, with serious moments and a little bit of spice. Definitely recommend!
