Wallflower Florence stutters when she is around strangers and crowds. Having her heart broken several years ago, she hopes to not attract any attention and become a spinster. When John, the rake who walked away from Florence years ago, shows up at the house party she is at she panics even more. John can’t forget Florence and wants to reunite with her, especially when he learns of her large dowry. Can Florence give them a second chance?
