This isn't the worst book I've read this year but it's certainly not the best.
The FMC was annoying and everything she did made no sense. I also didn't enjoy the supernatural/ psychic element, it felt forced just to add another dimension to the story simply just to get the word count up to novel length.

I liked Pete in general but he couldn't save the story for me.

Tweety's husband has taken their child and Tweety spends her time trying to find out where her child is.

This is an emotive theme but a gripping read. It was a slow inplaces but that said it had me gripped.

Domestic dramas have always interested me and this was a well written plot.

A woman returns from work to find that her husband has left with her child.
Years go by and her search is relentless until finally it seems she may have caught up with him.
A great story but i did feel it dragged on a bit to long.

But Tweety isn't giving up just like that. She spends years piecing together where her husband might be, and travels to a place where she is likely to encounter him again. And so she does. But is too late or can she get her child back?

This is a gripping read, with an unusual take on a familiar trope. It gets 3.5 stars.
