I love this world so much! It’s so bright and colorful, and has opened my eyes to so many new types of food that I want to jump in and taste it all.

Jumping back in to Zarya’s world is always so exciting. The story and the twists and turns that every character goes through is always a new and exciting adventure.

In this book we were able to dive into the nitty gritty of the prophecy, as well as the nature of the Paramadhar relationship.

Overall, this was a colorful addition to The Nightfire Quartet!

Holy cow but I honestly did not see half of the twists in this book coming. Our girl Zarya goes thru some stuff and a lot of things are explained. As always with Ms Tuli’s books I was hooked from the first sentence. She dragged emotions and tears out of me. I feel like this book is even better than the last. You are dipped deeper into this world. Also the subject matter is heavy so mind those triggers. I cannot wait for the conclusion of this quartet. It will be explosive!

I received this and hadn’t read the first two which was no problem because I DEVOURED them to get to this book. The action, the politics, the friendships, the spice, this book had it all. I love her writing and am so stoked for the next one! The main character really flourished in this book but the character development for every character was just incredible! I loved the ending leaving us wanting more without it being a huge cliff hanger. Well done!!

If you are looking into reading Nisha's books, just know, that no book in any of her series fails to hit the mark. Each book keeps building and building on each other and you will struggle to decide which one is your favorite.

I love the representation in this series, how she so effortlessly combined facets of fantasy in Indian culture. This has been going on through out the series but it is still as strong now as it was in book one. The growth in Zarya is so great to see, she is becoming more and more confident in herself and her place in this world. No longer the "Swamp Girl" Yasen so affectionately calls her. Their found family dynamic is also adorable and I am so glad they have each other.

Can we all give some applause for the simp that is Rabin? he is so obsessed with Zarya that I am obsessed with him. The steamy moments are fully steamy, and Rabin's dedication to proving himself and his place in her world is unmatched. Top level book boyfriend material for sure.

With another surprising ending, I cannot wait for the conclusion to this series. Like seriously, can I have it now? is now good? I don't know if I can wait to see where this has all been building to.

Storm of Ink and Blood is book 3 in The Nightfire Quartet.

Zarya has joined the Rising Phoenix resistance and trying to find out how she can free the Vanshaj but she is still heartbroken by Rabin's betrayal and uses the resistance and other means to keep him out of her head.

I had difficulty remembering what had happened in the previous book so had trouble with understand how Zarya came to be such a big part of the resistance. The timeline of events also didn't seem to make sense as Zarya mentions she found out about her nightfire only 7 months ago but then when she's talking about the resistance she says all these years of work when she's probably only been part of them for a couple months. Then there's also her not wanting to believe in Rabin and then proceeds to sleep with him multiple times. Other than these points, I think the story was captivating and now I look forward to Zarya meeting a member of her family very soon.

This is the third book in the series, no real cliff hanger.
While this book was full of plot, there wasn’t as much spice or action as the other two in the series. Rabin and Zarya are finally at a good place but the world around them is falling to pieces. I loved the introduction of new characters and the development of the preexisting ones. Yasen is definitely in my top ten of BF and co-conspirators. This book follows the uprising of a rebellion and continues to develop Zarya’s past as well as her relationships with her family members. Overall, this book was a solid read full of magic, friends, building new relationships and love.

Action packed continuation and I can't wait for the final book!

I wasn't so sure coming into this book, given that the romance element was taking a break as Zarya and Yasen head off on their grand adventure. This was definitely a more fantasy action packed book and it felt like we finally saw so much more of this world!

For the Romantasy lovers, don’t worry, Zarya and Rabin’s hate-to-love-to-hate-to-love (honestly I have whiplash 😅) story does return but you have to just wait a bit longer this book. I don’t think they even communicate until like the 30% mark!

In the meantime there's loads going on as Yasen and Zarya get caught up in a rebellion in Gi’ana (Zarya’s Mother’s Queendom), trying to free the enslaved Vanshaj.

(For anyone trying to remember who and where everything is! There is a helpful glossary now at the start of the book, which was the perfect recap for me!)

What I enjoyed:
💙 The plot! This might have been one of my favourite storylines of the series! Its very action packed from the first line! And the things they discover finally unravelled a few questions I had about this world!
💙 Zarya x Rabin. Without spoiling too much, I really like how their relationship develops and the point that they are at going into the next book. It feels they have hit a steady point, and there was only so much push and pull I could take. The spice in this book is GOOD! And probably kicks off from like the halfway point! I will never look at vines the same way though! Also I love how Rabin goes from being a complete simp one minute, to a bossy Daddy the next 😅
💙 Yasen! Still my platonic soulmate! He injects so much humour into the book and the reason why I probably liked this plot more than book 2, is because there was more Yasen! 🤣 Also, things better develop for him and a certain someone or I will RIOT!

The last quarter or so of the book was definitely gripping and I'm looking forward to seeing how this all concludes! Especially given where Zarya is heading next and the crazy b***h still out there! Also really intrigued to see what happens with Vikram and Amriti in the end as they were quiet this book!

Nisha J. Tuli is an auto-buy author for me for good reason, and Storm of Ink and Blood is an excellent example of why. The third installment in The Nightfire Quartet, Storm of Ink and Blood engulfs you in the world Tuli has created: a rich, vibrant landscape that pays homage to Indian culture (and the incredible food and gorgeous fashion) it is known for. Her storytelling is lush, full of sensory details and character-driven plot that keeps you turning pages, dying to know what happens next. Zarya is relatable - a genuine character with flaws and pride and a determination to do the right thing. Her internal battle over her feelings for Rabin is well-written and realistic. And the spice? Sublime. I kept reading well past my self-imposed bedtime on many occasions, unable to put the book down because I had to know what happened next. I am eagerly awaiting the final book in the quartet so I can find out how Zarya’s story will end and add the full series to my shelf trophies. Truly excellent storytelling and characters make this a book I am proud to rate five stars and highly recommend to my friends.

Nisha twines this story around a reader's heart, until you are living and breathing solely for Zarya. Add to that the rocky path Zarya must tread, in order to become who she was always meant to be? Reluctant heroine is the understatement of the year. But still, Zarya rises to the occasion... With her gritty determination, her ability to love above all else, her efforts to make the world a better place in the face of everything? Zarya is a Queen in my eyes. And, obviously, so is Nisha.

With the addition of Rabin's POV in Storm of Ink and Blood, I felt like this fantasy romance immerses us into the story even more than we were, which is saying something! But who knew the brooding hero was even more complex than we thought?! Glitterbugs, when he tells Zarya about his past? My heart ached for him. And I'm hoping *so* hard that his future is bright. He deserves so much better than what he's lived through. No, I won't be saying any more than that about him. Spoilers, dear glitterbugs. Spoilers.

Holy guacamole it's been a while since I read of a rebellion like this one. There's so many moving parts to the Rising Phoenix; this is an incredibly intricate system! I adore how Nisha envelops us in the fear and defiant hope emanating from this group, and keeps us on the edge of our seat throughout the entire tale. At no point do you feel safe. Of course that's a happiness boost!

Storm of Ink and Blood by Nisha J. Tuli is a fantasy romance of rebellious hope, powerful magic and an enduring love. After the mindblowing cliffhangers from the previous books, I could not be more excited (and anxious) to dive into Storm of Ink and Blood.

Zarya is undoubtedly one of my favorite FMCs. She has the biggest heart and is well-intentioned but is often impulsive. She’s grown so much throughout the series and is finally starting to embrace her gifts and potential. The found family continues to support her unconditionally and I loved seeing the family expand with each book.

Zarya and Rabin’s relationship is so dynamic. They share a deep connection but Zarya’s feelings remain conflicted. The angst, hot groveling, and devotion sent my emotions into overdrive. The slow build of trust and acceptance is depicted masterfully. I am completely obsessed with this book couple and cannot wait to see Zee fulfill her destiny in the final installment.

With spellbinding magic, heart-pounding action, and a romance that burns hotter than nightfire, Storm of Ink and Blood will leave you utterly enraptured and begging for the next book!

Loved the next instalment of the Nightfire Quartet! Zarya and Yasen are working with the resistance to free the vanshaj. Rabin does his best to convince Zarya to trust him again. We meet new friends and visit old ones as we find out more about the vanshaj and how they are bound because of their ancestors’ mistakes. More is revealed about Zarya’s magic. I can’t wait for the final book!

I could not put this book down! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Storm of Ink and Blood continues the tradition of what we know and love from Nisha J Tuli, enchanting world building, relatable, lovable characters with a found family element and a storyline that hits in all the right places. For lovers of slow burn Romantasy, the Nightfire Quartet is the perfect series to really sink your teeth into (or our fave Rakshasa could do the biting?? IYKYK 😉)

Third book in The Nightfire Quartet saga. And here I must say, that I realized that I did not become a big fan of the sagas of more than 3 books. Bilogy, trilogy...? Brilliant. More than 3? I don't know if I'm on this wavelength anymore. And maybe this is because I feel that the story doesn't give much more... I felt that in this book we were going to be able to discover much more and although the world created by Nisha J. Tuli was expanded a little... I expected more. I was very excited about this book and be careful, it didn't disappoint me but I don't know if I'm up for a 4th book.

This vision of being able to have a more just society where everyone has the same opportunities, of giving these people another quality of life and another meaning to their lives, is interesting. This is something notable and that I liked, although I also felt that it was too small for so many books.

I liked the characters and their evolution, it was correct and also quite... predictable. I didn't feel like there were exciting moments, or plot twists that made reading addictive or made me want to go on and on. It was a good read, a good continuation, but I didn't like it 100%.

Great story, really love how dedicated the fmc with the rising phoenix !! Great pacing and story. Wished the mmc did a bit more begging but overall an amazing book and such a good series.

The story kicks off with a bang as Zarya and Yasen secretly team up with the rebellion to free the vanshaj. There’s a bit of a time skip, but the tension and heartbreak from book 2 are still hanging over Zarya. She’s trying to move on, but her heart is still stuck on a certain broody dragon (same, Zarya, same). Rabid has some serious apologizing to do after all his mistakes, but luckily, he’s got a knack for it (if you know, you know).

Yasen continues to capture my heart with his witty banter and fun-loving spirit. He’s definitely the second-best book bestie I’d want in real life!

When Zarya starts experimenting with her sixth anchor and begins to fulfill the prophecy, Tuli’s writing had me tearing up right along with the characters. Zarya is just so noble; you can’t help but love her.

With plenty of twists and emotional moments, book 3 had me completely hooked. The pacing really ramps up in the last third, giving me a bit of whiplash, but it kept the storyline rich and exciting. The ending doesn’t leave you on a huge cliffhanger—which I appreciate since the next book is a ways off—but I still have tons of questions and can’t wait for book 4!

First and foremost, I want to extend my thanks to fellow Canadian, Nisha J. Tuli for continuing on this series in such a wonderful way. I was drawn to this title after finishing multiple other books by Tuli and knew that it would be amazing.

Storm of Ink and Blood is the third installment of the Nightfire Quartet. This book brings us straight into Zarya's exploration into her family and the prophecy her mother left her inside her necklace. We also get to see her turmoil about Rabin's betrayal and dealing with his absence. This book shows us even more of Zarya's magic and her where her heart lies. Tuli graces us with even more spice (finally), and we get to see event more family dynamics (both blood and found). In full transparency, I did have one scene that gave me a bit of an ick, but it passed quickly and didn't detract from the storyline.

In the end, Tuli left me practically salivating for the next and final book to come out.

I am a huge fan of this series and author. I am so honored to receive book number 3 of her series. The continuing story is amazing and addictive. You will whip through all three books so quick!

This series has really taken us on a wild ride. We started out trapped in a swamp, then trekked to a far off kingdom full of magic and scary creatures and now we have ventured even further to join a rebellion against royal family that also happens to be related to our FMC.

There’s plenty of action and adventure going on, but I don’t want to say too much and give anything away. The MMC can turn into a dragon and just crush people to death, so that’s cool. We also get to see a slight glimpse of Zarya’s mysterious father so that just gives you more questions than answers.

If I was Zarya, I’d just go to Rabin’s awesome, secret hideout and live out the rest of my life. There’s too much drama going on out there.

Brace yourself, folks. This next installment in the Nightfire Quartet series FINALLY gives us Dual POV - so we can finally get inside of Rabin’s head 🙃🙌🏻. And let me tell you, Storm of Ink and Blood is stunning and ADDICTIVE. I think Nisha infuses her books with magic because I just get sucked in and can’t participate in life until I finish the story 😅. Her character development is phenomenal, the tension is palpable, and the storyline is so vivid.. Storm of Ink and Blood is an instant 5⭐️ read. 10/10, would highly recommend.
