Wow! Operation Butterfly is a suspenseful, realistic tail filled with drama, betrayal, secrets, family and love, Jaxson has one mission...bring Alia back to America. It was supposed to be a quick in and out but the leader of the new regime wants Alia for himself and he will stop at nothing to have her. Alia and her family have been targeted so getting them to safety nearly impossible. Jaxson calls in reinforcements as his simply mission has turned into a full rescue operation.

Throughout the story, Naleighna Kai and Martha Kennerson touch on subjects that are relevant today. After reading this I feel l have a better understanding of what women in other countries, namely Middle Eastern countries, may experience. Prior to this I knew a little bit about it but this just opened my eyes even more. We take for granted the freedom and liberties we have until you come across a book like this that makes you realize how easily it can all be taken away.

The characters and plot were well developed. By the end of the story I was so invested I was flipping pages looking for more. I hope we get more of Jax and Alia's love story in the future.

Thank you to NetGalley and the authors for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Operation Butterfly does much to highlight how things go wrong when people stand back and do nothing to change the status quo.

I enjoyed the romance, especially the way Jax cares for Alia and the measures he takes to ensure her safety. Plus, that of her family. This book delves into family dynamics and relationships with a mixed cast of distinctive characters. The readers get a look at the culture that adds more layers and color to the story.

As always, seeing the Kings and Knights was a treat. Can't wait to read the next book in the series and continue the adventure with familiar and new characters.

For all the Kings of the Castle fans, they will love this new series Naleighna Kai has kicked off. Jax is in trouble trying to accomplish a mission and the Kings jump in to help rescue their friend, and other unexpected people. This story shows the bonds of family can either make or break you. Greed is sometimes thicker than blood, but when it comes down to it some of your best allies turn out to be people you assumed as enemies.

My applause for keeping the Kings them going. Fans if you loved the Kings and Knights series, you will love this series as well.

Jaxon finds himself in the Kingdom of Ajid doing a favor for Dro and Lola for their approaching nuptials. Jax is supposed to be able get into the country and escort Alia back to the United States to perform her duties as maid of honor to Lola. While Jax is in Ajid things take a turn for the worse with him not being able to get Alia out of the country and himself being held captive. Ajid who is the leader of the country makes it known that Alia will be his wife not knowing that she is already married to Jax. He has taken over the country and has taken women out of high-ranking positions. With no where else to turn Jax seeks the help of Dro who one of the Kings of the Castle. When Vikas who is Dro’s identical brother gets finds out he accompanies Dro to Ajid to help out Jax. To no avail they are both met with a series of events. Have no fear the Kings of the Castle are on a mission to rescue Jax, Alia and members of her family.

This series is part of a 5-book set and ended rather abruptly and picks up with the 2nd book in the series Operation Diamond. As usual Naleighna Kai has done an awesome job with another spinoff of the Kings Of The Castle. Just when you're think the Kings Of The Castle series is done. Have no fear they are back in action again.

I received an ARC via the author Naleighna Kai and NetGalley and I am leaving my review voluntarily.

This book "Operation Butterfly" was out of control!! Awesome!!! I enjoyed each page and word!! OMG!! I couldn't read it fast enough! The authors worked this out so much that it made me really think that this is real world happenings. It seems so real! I was sitting on the edge of my seat! Jax, Alia, Nasir and Aunt Rabia are so good together moving as a unit! Some of the allies were a surprise but a welcomed one.
