If you are drawn to your nightly dreams, curious, interested, befuddled, and confused, all in equal measure, then welcome to dreamwork! Many valuable approaches exist to positive and energizing connections with dream space and images. One of the most helpful books I’ve ever seen to accomplish dream-mining is the newly published Dreamwise, authored by three experienced Jungian analysts (podcasters from This Jungian Life). Multiple angles and levels of approach to one’s dreams are presented, along with excellent section summaries and suggestions, all wrapped up with supportive appendix materials. I wish I had this resource decades ago when I began my dreamwork journey, but I’m also thankful to have it now as my journey continues. It’s a five-star resource for active dreamwork engagement, understanding, and growth.
This was a very interesting read. Highly recommend to my friends
Thank you NetGalley for letting me read it
This was an interesting read. If you are looking for more insight on dream interpretation and/or follow Carl Jung, I think it is worth checking out. There are Jung quotes throughout, that are quite insightful. For dreams, they have a summary of the dream, some background information and then an explanation. There are questions for doing your own dream work as well.
This book was interesting but I think I was looking for something different. Thank you to the authors and publishers for letting me read Dream Wise.
