Wow. This series is awesome. I loved reading Nate’s story and didn’t want it to end. The plot was very clever and engaging.
Many thanks to Forever and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
Nate and his brothers were created in a test tube and bred to be the ultimate solders. Audrey’s mother was their creator. Their first meeting was nothing more than a science experiment, but it became so much more. But then she broke things off and left him. And he and his brothers escape. Years later, they spot one another across a ballroom. Time is running out for Nate and he needs Audrey’s help, or he and his brothers will die. Audrey has her own secrets and agendas but coming face to face with the man she never stopped loving makes it hard to say no.
I’m jumping in mid-series here, so I have no background knowledge of what has happened. Didn’t really matter (Much!) because I really enjoyed Blind Faith. Nate and Audrey’s story is fast-paced and loaded with jaw-dropping surprises that kept me on my toes from beginning to end. Nate is sexy as all get out but it’s his vulnerable, broken side that drew me in. So much heartache and torture he’s had to endure. Audrey was full of surprises. My initial thoughts of her were of sympathy and maybe a little innocence. I mean come on, I get that she loves her mom, but that woman is one cold, scary psycho and Audrey really needed to remove those rose-colored glasses. Lo-and-behold, Audrey is actually one tough heroine! She’s strong, fierce and the perfect match for Nate. Who knew that science experiment was going to lead to something more Yay for second chance romances!
The story itself was one great rush. There is quite a bit going on and just when you think you have everything figured out and all the bad guy boxes check, the author comes in and shakes it all up like an etch-a-sketch. The secondary characters are what gave me a little pause and have me kicking myself. Not having read the previous books I was at a loss of what they went through so while I enjoyed their appearances, I knew I was missing some critical pieces. That’s okay, it just means when I finally read their books, I will appreciate them more. As for Blind Faith, it was fantastic and all fans of Rebecca Zanetti are going to love it!
One final random opinion.
I read the Blood Brothers series first. What does that have to do with anything you may wonder. Once again, I feel the need to explain myself. A few years ago, I read the Blood Brother books not realizing it is a spin-off series. Last week I was scrolling through my Kindle looking for something to read and came across Blind Faith. Loving Ms. Zanetti’s books I just started reading and had a sudden sense of déjà vu. Ohhh… so many questions answered! I should mention yes, the two series are more than capable of being read separately. However, knowing now what I do now, I think the spin off series would have meant more to me had I just started with the Sin Brothers series.
Stars: 4.5
I received this book from Netgalley. I was not compensated for the book other than the entertainment it provided. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
According to my master reading log, I first read this book in 2015. In order to provide appropriate feedback, I re-read it again in 2021.
This was a quick and enjoyable read. It’s book three in the Sin Brothers series which is a series about four brothers that were created and trained to be super soldiers.
Nate and Audrey had a relationship before the brothers are able to escape the environment they grew up in. Audrey is sill connected to the Commander that created the brothers and after five years, Nate needs Audrey’s help to get information on one of his brothers and to disable chips that have been implanted in the brothers.
Nate and Audrey are still in love and they end up working together so the brothers can finally be free of the Commander.
I really like Rebecca Zanetti’s writing style and this book (even as a re-read) did not disappoint.

Performance – 5

This series just keeps getting better and better!
Karen White did another fantastic job with Rebecca Zanetti's third book in the Sin Brothers series. Like the other books in this series it can be read as a standalone. Although the author does a great job of giving the reader the detail they need from previous books so they won't be lost, you might enjoy the series more if you read it in order.
This story had more twists and turns than I could ever imagine and I never saw them coming. I was kept guessing throughout the story and never figured out the bad guys until all was revealed. Like the earlier books, there is a substantial amount of between-the-sheets time. If that's not your jam you can easily skip over them.
I listened to this book in one go and don't regret for a minute spending all day doing so. I am totally invested in this series and have promptly started listening to book four, Total Surrender.
A review copy was provided by the publisher via NetGalley but this did not influence my opinion or rating of the book.
I thought that this was a great installment in the Sin Brothers series. I cannot believe that I have had these books sitting around for years and am just now getting around to reading them. This is the third book in the series and I do recommend reading this series in order since some of the plot points are carried on from one book to the next. I had a great time listening to this book and found it to be a really exciting read.
I was really excited to dive into Nate and Audrey's story because I knew that they had a history and I cannot seem to resist second chance romances. I loved learning what exactly happened when they were younger and enjoyed seeing that their connection was still strong. I thought that they had amazing chemistry together and I liked the way that they worked as a team. Audrey was a great character and I almost felt like her upbringing was worse than Nate's.
I thought that this book was pretty exciting. There was a fair amount of action and I was really worried about how things would work out at times. I liked the fact that both Audrey and Nate seemed to be willing to tackle whatever obstacle was thrown their way. It was really easy to cheer this pair on.
I thought that Karen White did a fantastic job with the narration. She handled all of the character voices very well and added a lot of excitement to the story. I found her voice to be very pleasant and found myself listening to the book for hours at a time. I think that her narration added to my overall enjoyment of the story.
I would recommend this book to fans of romantic suspense. This book had a wonderful blend of action and romance that kept me hooked until the very end. I cannot wait to start the next book in this series.
I received a digital review copy of this book from Forever (Grand Central Publishing) via NetGalley and purchased a copy of the audiobook.
Blind Faith is the third installment in the Sin Brothers series by Rebecca Zanetti about four genetically engineered brothers designed to be super soldiers. They were created by the ruthless Commander and the evil Dr. Madison, both truly the perfect book villains. I read this series five or six years ago, recently reread it and it has held up well. This book is full of edge-of-the-seat suspense, adventure, sexual tension, and numerous twists and turns. The brothers are on the run from the vile Commander and their time is running out because chips implanted in their backs are due to deactivate and kill them very soon.
Nate Dean, the brother in this book, reaches out to his ex-love, Audrey Madison, who betrayed him five years ago and broke his heart. Audrey, the daughter of Dr. Madison, saved him from a life of torture and chose to stay with her mother. Their reunion is very emotional, and Audrey reveals all to Nate. Audrey finally realizes her mother will never love her and works to bring down the Commander.
There is a lot going on in the story, but Zanetti knows her craft and keeps the reader engrossed with the action, suspense and of course, the love story. Thanks to NetGalley for the chance to read this story. I gave it four stars.
Oh MY God this was an explosive book if I do say so myself and I loved the Hell out of it! It was so doggone hot it almost burnt my fingers flipping the pages! This would have been a great love story on it's own but the added intensity of genetically engineered military brothers knocked it out of the park! I'm hooked!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by Netgalley)...
3.5 stars
So this book focuses on Nathan, the second oldest brother and his first love, Audrey, Audrey is the daughter of the evil Dr. Madison and was used as a bait for experiment on Nathan; however, Audrey fell in love with Nathan and decided to save him.
I really wanted to love this story because I’m a sucker for second chance romances, but this book was a little too much for me. The random secret organizations and extra craziness that had nothing to do with the commander was just too much and it just felt like needless filler to add more action. I absolutely love the brothers and their reactions to the surprising “news.” I just couldn’t understand Audrey’s reasoning for trying to build a relationship with her crazy evil mother after what she did to her.
I did love Grandpop Jim, he was so cute.
I can’t wait to read Jory’s book!
I am a big fan of this author, however this series just doesn't do it for me. I won't be continuing with this series.
BLIND FAITH - Rebecca Zanetti
#3 in the Sin Brothers Series
FULL OF SUSPENSE! - 4 stars
Plot - 3.5 stars - Audrey has been placed high up in the political arena in order to promote the Commander's plan. But she has a disruptive plan of her own in mind and joins with the senator to try to thwart the Commander's plans without harming her mother. Nate, on the other hand, is on a mission to find out about the kill chips he and his brother have in their backs. He's always loved Audrey, but his brothers have always been his top priority, so he's going to have to choose between them.
Writing - 4 stars - Although Zanetti captured my interest right from the start with her well-thought-out characters, I was confused with the complex political machinations that were involved. Eventually, though, things settled into place and the romantic suspense commenced. I think she tried to make things a little more interesting, but instead they got too complicated. It was much more comfortable when she settled into the romance, then the plot heated up (much like the romance did), and the story took shape.
Characters - 4.5 stars - Nathan is the middle brother--the one who has always tried to uphold Matt's training and teaching, but he also tried to shield his younger brothers from most of the pain. He's tough, strong, and has the same high level of hearing and feelings that his brothers do. He's called the human lie detector. Audrey is his soulmate. She also grew up under the commander's rule since her mother is the doctor who created the Grey Brothers. And Nate was her first and only lover. Now she's been placed in a senator's office to help promote the Commander's program, but she has a mind of her own. It's difficult for her since she has a little girl's need to be loved by her mother, but she also recognizes that her mother has been working against her (or at least not thinking of her in the normal maternal sense), so she's conflicted. Her feelings for Nate compound her internal struggles. Nate and Audrey work well together, and the chemistry between them if, of course, combustible. I like them both and was rooting for their success in this mission, in finding the kill chips, and for their eventual togetherness.
Title - 4 stars - The title makes sense since both Nate and Audrey have to stop looking at things logically and just give in to their feelings, taking a leap of faith that they will both feel the same way.
Cover - 4 stars - Hot cover, but typical of this genre.
Overview - 4 stars - Although this is a good continuation of a strong romantic suspense series, I felt that it started out a little too complicated. Nate's mission of finding and disarming the chips is clear and straightforward. For that matter, Nate himself is pretty clear-headed and straightforward. But his feelings for Audrey complicate matters. And Audrey's plans were a little too convoluted for me. Perhaps because of the politics and backbiting involved? I got confused about who was on which side. Although this may have been intention on the author's part, I found it distracting and confusing. However, once Zanetti got back into her usual romantic suspense groove, the story took flight. It was exciting and full of action, and both characters showed their strength, both physically and mentally. Emotionally, the sexual relationship part of the story was hot and totally erotic. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series as well as other works from this author.
Intriguing and one that you won't want to put down. Characters are great and you want to see how things work out! I enjoyed and would read more from this author and series
Nate is the second oldest of the Dean brothers and he's always taken on the role of protector of the youngest two alongside his Matt. In fact in some ways Nate was the one who worked hardest to give them as much of a childhood as they could have growing up on an army base where they were being trained as super-soldiers. Matt did the hard jobs to keep them safe but Nate was the centre of their family all the same. We've seen in the previous books what a horrific childhood they suffered thanks to the Commander and we also know they all have bombs literally ticking away inside their skulls waiting to destroy them if they can't be disarmed in time. In the last book we found out that the girl who broke Nate's heart may be the one person who has the answers they need so Nate goes in search of Audrey and answers.
Audrey's mother is doctor and scientist who plays a key role in the Commander's off the books programs including the creation and training of the Dean brothers. She threw Audrey and Nate together deliberately because she wanted to see how the boys would react to falling in love and she betrayed both of them deeply with her actions. Audrey never really had anyone who loved her before Nate and she was heartbroken when the Commander forced them apart but she was proud of the brothers for escaping and has always imagined them living a happy life somewhere without her. She only stayed behind because she was determined to put a stop to the Commander's experiments once and for all. When Audrey sees Nate all of her old feelings immediately come rushing back but there are so many secrets and misunderstandings between them that it is hard for either of them to trust each other fully.
I've loved every book in this series but I have to admit I think Blind Faith was my favourite so far, this series really does have everything I want from romantic suspense - fantastic action packed storylines, lots of twists and betrayals, a great cast of characters (I'm a sucker for a group of brothers who care about each other as much as the Deans do!) and hot but sweet romances. Nate and Audrey have brilliant chemistry but they were friends first and that shines through in every interaction between them along with a deep sense of caring and protectiveness. Throw in the chance to catch up with the other brothers and a few more hints about what could have become of the youngest Jory and I was on cloud nine reading this. I absolutely can't wait to read the next book but I have to admit I'm kind of sad the series is coming to an end!
