Definitely in the 'for sharing' category, this book – and I guess the others in this series – is a simply-built idea, using stock photography and the simplest of sentences to teach through demonstration. We see children share lemonade with grandads, even if they look highly suspicious, we see the collaborative use of the same set of colouring pencils, we see children with smiles, snacks and companionable time in common. Now, was this deemed necessary when I was a toddler? I don't remember so, but that aside this is fine, and certainly something that will not hurt anyone (unless dropped on someone from a great height, at least…).
