I received a free copy from NetGalley. Returning home, relationships between mother and daughter, a court case that is very minor, i.e. this is not a legal thriller, and lots of lots of details about shellfish. The setting makes for a good beach read but the story runs slowly.

If you don't love Cape Cod before you read this book, you'll have a new vacation spot in mind when you finish. I find books comforting if they have characters with whom I can identify. I liked these characters, along with learning lots about aquaculture.

A story of love, loss, that oh-so-heavy burden of guilt, and the sometimes ever-elusive hope of forgiveness.
