Take my favourite city (London) , my favourite holiday (Christmas) , one of my favourite tropes (found family) , then combine them and you will understand why I loved ‘We Three Kings’ so much!

The plot is simple: Maggie is the head of the IT department of a company in London and is spending Christmas alone. And that is precisely why Leo, Jasper and Frank (her colleagues and friends) propose to her to spend a piece of the Christmas holiday with each of them. So Maggie ends up pretending to be Frank’s fiancée at a wedding, attending a big event at Jasper’s big mansion and slowly starting to fall in love with Leo with whom she will spend Christmas in the Lakes with his family.

What I perhaps liked most about this book was the author’s way of making the chemistry and friendship between the four main characters completely genuine and making even complicated dynamics seem simple. From the very first page, in fact, @kristenbaileywrites managed to describe each character perfectly with their strengths, flaws, strengths and weaknesses making them real people where it’s easy to find yourself in Frank’s awkwardness, Frank’s no-nonsense (except when he’s with his family), Leo’s good-guy, caring vibes and the way Maggie considers them her family and would go to the ends of the earth for each of them.

The love story between Maggie and Leo also developed simply and naturally, step by step, talk by talk, without drama and with small gestures.

✨ We Three Kings the set of moments that make you move, smile, warm your heart, rich in friendship and family that made me think: ‘that’s why I love Christmas! So all that remains for me to do is to thank the author for taking me on the book tour and to recommend that you read this book!

Cute romantic book. It took me a little bit of time to fully embrace the book. Unfortunately it just felt a bit too on the nose for me. It was still an enjoyable read and Im glad I got to experience it.

Kristen Bailey, you did it again!!! Another festive rom-com that had me laughing, crying, and making my heart flutter. While I normally like more spice in these sorts of cozy romances, the character development between two in particular (cough cough no spoilers) was SO good that I didn’t even notice the lack there of.

The banter between Maggie and her ‘three kings’ Frank, Jasper, & Leo was perfectly written. I loved each of these characters equally because they pulled on my heartstrings, and even though I read this in January, it gave me all the festive holiday feelings. When I say warm and fuzzy, I mean warm and fuzzy.

Maggie has to make a tough decision to axe one of the boys, and with the way Bailey has written this one, you will seriously be rooting for them all. I can’t wait to reread this again next holiday season!

<Thank you Kristen Bailey and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. I was thrilled to review another one of your novels!

This is my first Kristen Bailey book and I was delighted to find it. 'We Three Kings' is a deeply layered story of friendship, difficult choices and love. I enjoyed the depth of the characters and the kindness Maggie as she navigates through fun challenges in the book. I highly recommend it for a wonderful holiday read!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

I have to admit: when I first started reading We Three Kings, I was very concerned that this might be a reverse harem situation. Why else would 3 different men be mentioned in the blurb?! I put off reading this book because I don't want to read a book like that. But...I kept seeing ads for the book on social media and/or in my emails. So I finally decided to give this book a go.

And I'm so very glad I did!! I still can't believe that he waits FOUR YEARS to make a move with her!! Crazy!! Maggie is so sweet. Everyone who meets her falls madly in [platonic] love with her. Her time with each guy is fun and wonderful! I love the foxes!! And Maggie's reindeer onesie!! Such a fantastic book!!!

Another cute story by Kristen Bailey. This one isn't just a romance - - it's very much a story of friendship as well.

The main character, Maggie not only loves her job, she loves her work family. So, when she's told she has to choose one to let go, she agonizes over it. How can she pick any of them? They each are special in their own way. Along the way to learning more about each of her co-workers, Maggie also learns more about herself and might even find romance....but you'll have to read it to see what happens.

I've read several books by this author and find that they all leave me with a smile on my face. This one did take me a bit to settle into but once I did, I can say I really enjoyed it.

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: The audio was also enjoyable. I found the narration added to the story and made it even more fun for me to listen to. 4 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley for early copies of both the ebook and audiobook.

Alright, buckle up, because Maggie Field’s Christmas plans are about to get wild—and not in the way she ever expected. She’s just trying to chill solo for the holidays when her three very different colleagues—Frank, Jasper, and Leo—decide that Maggie is their Christmas MVP. Instead of the quiet Christmas she envisioned, she’s thrown into a series of wacky adventures, including pretending to be Leo’s girlfriend at a wedding and rescuing foxes in a fancy country estate (because who wouldn’t want that?). The holiday chaos turns spicy when it’s clear that Leo, the charmingly complicated guy from work, might be more than just a colleague.

If you’re into workplace romance with a side of quirky characters and Christmas cheer, "We Three Kings" is a solid pick. Maggie’s emotional journey is as fun as it is relatable, navigating her way through a love triangle (sort of?) and finding her own holiday magic in the process. The book has the perfect blend of lighthearted fun, romantic tension, and festive shenanigans. You’ll love the awkwardness, the chemistry, and the sense of comfort and joy that Bailey’s characters bring to the table.

I’m giving "We Three Kings" a solid 4 out of 5 stars! It’s the perfect holiday read for anyone looking for a balance of romance, humor, and just the right amount of chaos. Not every Christmas story needs to be picture-perfect, and this one shows us that with the right company, even the most unpredictable holiday can turn out to be magical.

I loved this book! It was witty, fun, and insightul. I always look forward to a good holiday read and this filled my winter bucket. In addition, it introduced me to more from this author and I read most of her back catalog. Would recommend for a cozy, fun, holiday read.

Such a great Christmas book! That said I read it in January and I still loved it. A great read about work friends and family dynamics. The characters are really well written and the relationships feel completely believable. Highly recommend it!

If you are looking for a charming Christmas easy-read that blends close friendships, sweet romance, and the joy of chaotic families then I cannot recommend We Three Kings highly enough.

There is fabulous cast of characters that I genuinely loved. The chemistry between all of them felt perfect too; their friendships and dynamics felt realistic and utterly endearing. We also get to know all of them more and more as the story unfolds which was very cleverly done.

It felt like the perfect rom-com, with several scenes that actually made me chuckle out loud! I loved that the entire Christmas season was littered with hilarious incidents as it just created such a wonderful atmosphere.

The only reason we’re not looking at 5 stars here is that I think the second half was overly long.
I think if the second half had been tighter it would have allowed the momentum to really flow and this would have been an easy 5* review from me.

Overall, this was an absolute joy to read and I will absolutely be looking at what else Bailey has written as this was just such a thoroughly enjoyable book.

Also, don’t let the Christmas theme put you off reading this at any point in the year. While I will definitely be rereading it next festive season, it’s such a lovely cosy romance that you could enjoy this no matter the season.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an E-ARC

I struggled to get into this book due to the writing style. I think it was written more for a teen audience so the writing was informal to cater to that audience. The premise was also very predictable/cliche.

First of all I would like to say thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this Arc in exchange for an honest review.

I have loved all the books written by Kristen Bailey and as soon as I saw this I knew I needed to read it asap! It also helped that it was a holiday theme so helped to get me into the festive spirit. Even though this is a holiday story you could easily read it at anytime of the year!

All the characters were written perfectly and helped to push the story forward. There was also a lot of laugh out loud moments which I always expect from this author.

I can't wait to see what is next.

This was an absolutely adorable Christmas read filled with friendship, love and coworkers/friends who become family.

I'll admit- it took me a couple of chapters to actually get into this book. I wasn't feeling the nerdy IT characters, but once I got to know Frank, Jasper and Leo a little more, I fell in love with them the way Maggie did. Instead of spending Christmas alone, each of Maggie's coworkers offer to spend part of the holiday with her. Being Frank's wedding date was a hoot, especially the lost and found coat and Maggie's scathing comments to Frank's sisters. Spending the holidays with Jasper was just as fun (swoon to Miles and the fox!). However, Leo was my favorite of all. A longtime crush that lead to a fiery hot holiday romance was the perfect ending to Maggie's Christmas with her three kings.

I also loved the Christmas Eve appearance from some of Kristen Bailey's previous characters!!
