Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the arc of this book. This is my first Kristen Bailey book and was not sure what to expect. I loved this book. I read it in one sitting. This book is a beautiful story about the friendship between Maggie and the three co-workers she supervisors, Leo, Jasper and Frank. The author makes you care about all four main characters equally. This story is set a Christmas time and is set in England. Even though this book is set a Christmas time it is a great read for anytime of the year. This book is charming, witty and heartwarming. I highly recommend you read this book.

We Three Kings is as usual a great read from this author. With wonderful characters, sparkling dialogue and brilliant humour it is a heartwarming Christmas story.
Maggie an IT supervisor with a team of three others is tasked by her boss to choose one of them to be made redundant. Having a close friendship with all three she is devastated and no idea how to handle this dilemma knowing she will lose her own job if she doesn’t comply.
A Christmas adventure ensues which is as bonkers and funny as it is heartwarming. The close friendship of the team shines through making this a beautiful feel good read.

I read this in one sitting. A cute cozy Christmas read. A love story in not just the traditional sense but also about the love and bonds you have with your coworkers. Her relationship with Frank and Jasoer was heartwarming. I loved getting a peak at their lives. And then there was sweet sexy Leo. You pretty much know how this story will play out from the beginning but it’s worth the ride.

A cozy feel good story.

This was a super cute, cozy feel good book. I liked it from the start. At one point, I got completly lost in the story. I felt sad when there were not people running, chaos, cute boy, baby foxes or snow outside my window.
Each character was super unique, and vey likeable. I loved the side characters, too! They completed the atmosphere of the story perfectly. Maybe I wish there was a tiny bit more drama when it came to love story part. But it's just me.
This book felt like a long walk during christmas session in London. Diverse, cozy, unique, cute, funny. A feel good one. It's also well written, too. I wish I had hot chocolate instead of iced latte when I read this, haha. Maybe next time.

4.5 stars, rounded up to 5 stars. This is a warm, feel-good story about friends and friendship, as it follows the interactions between 4 workmates in London. Set mostly around Christmastime, this is a funny, well-meaning and good-natured story. I've read several other novels from the author and loved them -- this doesn't disappoint.

I have never read anything by Kristen Bailey before but I was not disappointed. I absolutely loved this book and felt it was brilliant from start to finish.
The characters were excellent and had great descriptions but I think Jasper was my favourite and I would love a sequel to hear more of his story.
The book had plenty of romance and also showed the power of family and friendship while other parts had me laughing out loud.
This was an enjoyable Christmas read which I would 100 percent recommend.

This book was refreshing and fun to read. All the characters are easy to love and so well balanced.

Maggie, Frank, Jasper and Leo are workmates and care deeply for each other. They work in IT which tends to be the most incomprehensible and underrated department in a company even though without them there is nothing done. They’ve had been working for four years and have created their own family unit. Now is Christmas and Maggie is all alone, so they decided to organize their vacation holiday in order to make Maggie spend family time with them.
Their experiences are something you may want to read about and wish you could do it too. Their love and support for each other is endearing.
Romance is also in the air and expect slow burn sexy scenes.

After reading two books by Kristen Bailey I realized that her characters are refreshing, easy to relate to and the story is described in a way that is also easy to picture it as if you were there. Definitely will be following her to read more stories.

A fun festive romcom from the author of 'Five Gold Rings', Kristen Bailey.. The main character Maggie supervises the IT team of a large company - this world is evoked believably, from the banter to the tea-run routines, to this description of her first impression of the office: "It felt like a cross between a university social space and a Comic Con convention." Her colleagues - three guys - are likeable and warm-hearted, and when she's facing Christmas alone, offer that she can come and stay with each of them in turn.

I was invited to review this book by the publisher. Maggie works at an IT firm and enjoys her three co-workers aka three kings (Frank, Jasper, and Leo), all of whom invite her to spend time with them during the holidays. But, she is informed that she must lay off one of her teammates. Maggie does not want to do this at all, but especially because each person brings something to the day that she cannot do without (especially Leo). So she sets off to thoroughly enjoy her holidays while she mulls over what to do.

I really enjoyed reading this book - it was a quick read, and it had genuinely funny parts in it! Also, I appreciated that this book focused a lot on all types of relationships, such as Maggie's friendships. The Christmas setting just finalized what a delightful read this was.

A fun, sweet, touching and heartwarming story. Maggie is the IT supervisor and has been working with her 3 colleagues - Frank, Jasper and Leo- for the past 4 years. The 4 have become more than just friends and colleagues, looking out for each other, becoming a family of sorts. The 3 guys find out that Maggie will be alone for the Christmas break and decide between them that that's not going to happen. So she ends up spending time with each of them, getting to know their families and also getting to know each of them even better. Unfortunately, on the last day before the holidays, HR tells her to choose one person who will be made redundant in her department in the new year. For the whole holiday period, as she spends time with these wonderful people, this decision is constantly nagging at her. A lovely twist at the end ensures everyone stays close and her romance with Leo develops further. Some very amusing events and a wonderful feeling of family and friendship throughout the story.

A quick and easy Christmas romantic comedy that kept me engaged and eager to see how it all played out.

Maggie works as an IT manager with her 3, very unique team members in the basement of a large corporation. Underappreciated and often forgotten, they've created bonds and close friendships in their years together. There's Frank, anxious and somewhat socially inept, with a controlling mother he's only recently gotten slightly independent from. Jasper is a grumpy and posh man with a begrudging heart of gold and a complex and toxic extended family. Finally, Leo, the sweet, northern man who can actually talk to people in the company without baffling or offending them, who is always willing to lend a hand. Maggie adores them all.

Sparks fly between her and one of her team members after a night of holiday drinking and fun, which she tried to implement after learning IT had been forgotten to be included in the extravagant annual Christmas party. As usual. During the night, she happened to mention that she'd be spending Christmas alone. The team takes her under their wings to join in their holiday plans. She gets to spend an event with one, a family holiday with another, and Christmas Eve and day with a third. The comraderie and comprehension of these men as whole and complex individuals grows as they open their lives, all so she doesn't have to spend the holidays alone.

She can't fully enjoy it, though, as in the back of her mind, she knows HR has tasked her with splitting the team apart for good when she returns.

The book was a warm, genuine, and surprising delight. I enjoyed how it's separated into her adventure with each team member, and then her final decision, leading to the present. Her rambling, quirky slip ups and conscious support of her friends made Maggie such a relatable and likable character right from the start.

The only issues I had with the book as a whole were a couple of editing misses where a sentence didn't make sense, as if they read over it and left an extra word in. If you ignored the word, it read fine, so it didn't take away from the book as a whole. I'm normally so picky about loose ends or illogical character development, but these were all so unique and interesting and had such moments of warmth that I genuinely enjoyed the entire read. Even the detestable characters provided such a good contrast that it made the pacing of the book fly by.

This is the first I've read from this author, and she had me laughing out loud more than once. I'll definitely be grabbing more of her work and would recommend others do the same!

I read this over two days and absolutely loved it - it really turned out to be one of my best fun / feel-good novels of the year ❤️

A cosy festive read that is a. It different to the norm. I liked the different settings and events that Maggie went to and I did find myself snorting out loud several times whilst reading this. An easy read that is perfect if you want to switch off but still feel festive.

I loved this . 4 people work together and you follow their friendship at Christmas . Poignant parts, funny parts and moving parts.A great story. Told in 4 parts. The ending is not what you expect. A perfect Christmas read.

I was enjoying this one - Maggie was a likeable FMC and the 3 guys were engaging and fun to read.

However, I got to the 35% mark and something happened in the story that I pretty much hated. In addition, we were told about the event rather than it be in the story and that made me hate the scene even more.

Not going to finish this as the storyline (as mentioned above) was so cringy and it put me off the FMC.

Cute holiday rom-com with lots of angst and heart. The best part of this book was definitely the Three Kings of IT: Frank, Leo, Jasper. They each were uniquely wonderful and it was great to see each of their relationship with Maggie. They truly were like a small family and I could understand the difficult choice Maggie faced with letting one of them go from the department.

Leo and Maggie go through a friends-to-lovers and unrequited love tropes. I would have liked to see more of their relationship - the switch from friends to having feelings for Leo was kind of abrupt for me and I wanted to see how Maggie and Leo's relationship progressed from the friendship stage. It was like one day they were friends and the next day, Maggie was majorly crushing on Leo.

Overall, I would recommend this book if you are looking for something light-hearted with a huge family theme and lots of great banter.

this was such a cozy book to read, I ate it UP, it's 100% going on my re-read christmas list!

Kristen Bailey does it again! I loved this book! I read it in one night. She is really good at writing Christmas stories. I appreciated that although there is a really good love story in this novel, that this is also a story about friendships and friends that become like family. Plus, there are some really funny parts too. I definitely laughed out loud a few times while reading this book.

This book was so precious. I don’t even care that I was reading a Christmas book in September.

We Three Kings tells the story of Maggie and how she shares her holiday season with her three coworkers who have become family. With Frank, she attends a wedding and defrosts his ice queen mother. With Jasper, she’s given a glimpse at how the other half lives, but is let in on a huge secret. With Leo, she’s surrounded by warmth and love, and a possible romantic spark.

But during this lovely holiday, Maggie has to make a decision that will upset her work environment drastically. I honestly didn’t see what was coming and I was pleasantly surprised.

The banter in this book was top notch, especially between Maggie and Jasper. The bromance between Frank, Leo, and Jasper is what male friendships should look like. Maggie was an incredibly endearing character, but maybe just a little over the top. She was caring and was able to charm the pants off everyone she met.

I’m so glad I read this. I can’t wait to recommend it!
