I think it’s safe to say that Samantha Chase is one of my favorite comfort authors. With her books, I know I’ll get an enjoyable story with relatable characters, meddling family members, real life struggles and issues, and a guaranteed HEA.

I don’t always listen to the audiobook and read along at the same time, but I really liked it with this book! Amy McFadden did a great job narrating and bringing every character to life, and helped make this a really fun listen! Can you release book 4 ASAP, please?!
Lucy cannot stand Jax. Dislikes him beyond belief after one decision years ago changed the course of her brothers (and family’s) life in an instant. Jax eventually left town to pursue his dreams of going to the NFL, but is back in town years later looking to open a summer camp for children with disabilities, and Lucy is NOT happy about it.

After clearing up some HUGE misconceptions (man oh man was I ticked at Lucy), these two try to move forward and forge a friendship of sorts. But, as they spend more time together, they realize that there may be more feelings there beyond friendship. But they have to keep things a secret from their families to avoid any unnecessary drama.

Lucy and Jax had quite a bit stacked against them, but the biggest hurdles they’ll face on the way to an HEA is themselves. Jax had a lot to work through, and I loved how Lucy and his family was determined to help him with it.

I adore Samantha Chase books and the fun, romantic, and lighthearted stories she brings us! Looking forward to revisiting them in the next Wylder family installment!

"Undeniable Love" is an enemies-t0-lovers, brother's-best-friend, sports romance, primarily set in a small town. So lots of tropes to enjoy here!

Lucy Dawson has held a grudge against her brother's best friend, Jax Wylder, for over a decade. Jax and her brother were in a car accident the night of graduation that left her brother, Tyler, with permanent problems, while Jax went on to play in the NFL without him.

But when Jax and Tyler start talking about building a sports camp in their hometown for physically challenged kids who wouldn't otherwise be able to take part in sports themselves, they need Lucy to get on board with the plan. As a pediatric physical therapist, she makes the perfect consultant for ensuring the success of the camp complex and offerings.

But the force proximity of working together set sparks flying that ultimately ignite a flame. While they have lots of challenges to work their way through before they reach their happy ending, it's a cleverly written story.

I'm always a fan of Samantha Chase's writing, and we get to see Jax's brothers Simon and Noah from other books Chase has written. So that's a plus too, even though this story works fine as a standalone.

Thank you to Samantha Chase, Dreamscape Media, and NetGalley for an advance review copy.

Lucy and Jax!!! This audio kept me listening. I loved their enemies to lovers story line. Their fierce independence, but pull towards each other made for a captivating book.

Thank you for the opportunity to read this title.

I can always count on Samantha Chase to provide me a fun book with interesting characters. It is a delightful way to spend some titime. She has become a solid author of me when I need something I know I will enjoy.

The characters were top notch yet again, and I liked the premise. It is fun to see how she connects everything in her universe.

Thank you to the publishers, author and NetGalley for the free copy of this audio book.

Cute romance to listen to, I enjoyed the main characters and the setting. I did not read any of the previous books but it was ok as a standalone. The narrator did a good job.

This was such a feel good fall/football romance. This was exactly what I was looking for and I'm so glad I was able to get the audiobook to listen to it.

Tropes:
- enemies to lovers
- secret romance
- sports romance
- small town romance
- brother's best friend
- closed door romance
I listened to the audiobook for this one. Amy McFadden did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life.
Although I prefer a male narrator for the MMCs, she does a good job with the narration of the male portion.
This was a super sweet romance. I loved both of the MCs. Lucy being able to forgive and move past her ill feelings toward Jax makes for a beautiful story of redemption. It is very rare these days to have closed door romance, so I appreciate that aspect. Overall, it was a great read and I would recommend.

Overall this was an easy and light read. If you are looking for something that you can get through quickly and won’t catapult you into the dark hole of a reading slump… this is your book.

The FMC, Lucy, was not someone that I was able to connect with very well. She had a chip on her shoulder for something that had nothing to do with her and I feel like the switch from dislike to crush was very quick.

The MMC, Jax, was a gem. Sweet and considerate and all he wanted was to make things work.

"Undeniable Love" by Samantha Chase is a heartwarming addition to the Wylder Love series. Narrated by Amy McFadden, this audiobook effectively captures the essence of romance, making it a delightful listen.

McFadden's narration brings warmth and emotion to the characters, immersing you in their romantic journey. Chase’s writing is relatable and charming, with a well-crafted plot that explores love and personal growth.

I’d rate this audiobook 4 out of 5 stars. It’s an enjoyable listen for contemporary romance fans, and I look forward to more from this series. Thank you to NetGalley for my copy; all opinions are my own!

Samantha Chase does a really great job on the sweet and mildly steamy romances. This book features a few tropes: Sports, Enemies (ish) to lovers, Brother's Best Friend, I think that is all. What I love about this is that Lucy can admit when she is wrong and is not one to run away when things get hard. Often in these romances we see self-sabotage, and yes we do kind of have that, it comes from the male side. Lucy knows what she wants and goes for it and I love that. Though this is a part of the Wylder series they are all written as stand-alone, and yes we do get to interact with the Wylders and some of their plot points do carry over. For example, the Wylder Sister, we don't know much about it but the ending of this book alludes to more books to come and more from the Wylder father. I love the connection of the 3 brothers and the connection that Lucy and Jax have. Overall this is a fun and easy-to-read romance.

I’m a bit conflicted on this one. Firstly, as an audiobook it was great. The narrator is one of the easiest to listen to, and she really carried me through when I was a bit annoyed with the plot. As for that…the building romance of Lucy and Jax was actually a really sweet setup of misunderstandings that grew into mutual respect, and then more. As with the other books, it’s all closed door, but with no confusion as to what was going to happen. As for my frustrations, those cane in the form of some seemingly unnecessary side-plots and drama that amounted to nothing. If drama is added, it should at least feel connected. If it’s a buildup into a future book, then that wasn’t obvious, and was confusing at best. But overall, not a bad listen, 3.5 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape for the ALC in exchange for my honest review.

My favorite of the series so far! I’ve been enjoying quite a few from Samantha Chase lately but I think this one is my favorite so far. I love how she fought it and it was like he knew right away. He’s a big tough NFL player but honestly a big teddy bear when it comes to her- which is my favorite type of character! Their stories are so intertwined that I was happy all the truth came out and they worked through it.

Undeniable Love by Samantha Chase was super sweet. Small town, enemies to lovers, a little second-chance, with some sports thrown in! Lucy is a physical therapist who just found her fiancé in bed with their WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER!

Jax Wylder was a super sexy football player who was in an accident more than a decade ago in which Lucy's brother was terribly injured. He holds onto so much guilt and is hoping to start a camp for kids with disabilities once he retires from the NFL.

It did run a little long for me - I found myself getting just a bit bored - but it was a nice story and a fun time reading it. There was a bit of spice - mostly just a little sexy talk, but was closed door romance. I did love seeing more of the other Wylder boys.

Amy McFadden is one of my narrators - she does both male and female characters so well. Her narration is seamless and she really brings the characters to life.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

*Undeniable Love* by Samantha Chase is a heartfelt enemies-to-lovers sports romance that kept me engaged with its emotional depth and charming small-town setting. Lucy and Jax’s journey from bitterness to undeniable attraction was captivating, and the story did a great job of exploring second chances and forgiveness.

Amy McFadden delivered a fabulous performance, but as much as I enjoyed her narration, I felt the story would have benefited from dual narration to fully capture the dynamic between Lucy and Jax. Overall, it's a great listen, but a second narrator could have added that extra spark!

📝My Review📝

While living in two separate worlds, NFL star, Jax, and certified pediatric physical therapist, Lucy, will forever be connected by a tragic incident that changed them and their families’ lives forever. Because of a graduation night that had gone wrong, it created a womb so deep that Lucy can’t find it in herself to move on and forgive Jax. By creating a deep rooted barrier, it may cost her a future that she always dreamt of.

Not knowing that Lucy has held a grudge over Jax for many years, Jax continues to fight his inner demons from that night; even though, the rest of Lucy’s family has reassured Jax that he did not need to carry the burden of guilt with him. Yet Jax is striving to grow and create opportunities for redemption and healing through developing an athletic program and camp gieared to support those with disabilities by creating opportunities for them to be kids and enjoy athletics in a way many other kids without limitations do. Jax oblivious of the barrier that Lucy has established, seeks out Lucy’s professional assistance and opinion to help develop the camp to be beneficial and successful for the kids with disabilities. While the initial business meeting for the camp did not go as planned, Lucy discovered that what she thought were some of the facts about that haunting graduation night were perhaps not fully facts. Will Lucy allow the hidden secrets and grudges to keep her from a fantastic career opportunity and possibly a journey of a life time? Will the truth clear the air enough that Lucy may find that there is more to Jax than she thought?

In Chase’s novel, Amy McFadden narrates the diverse characters through the entirety of the novel. McFadden’s narration is overall pleasing, supportive, and enjoyable to the listening ear. While the style of writing is written in third person, which typically is not my style, I did not find it hard to engage in the story. In prior stories by different authors, I have found this style of writing to be a bit difficult to get into and often will take a few chapters to adapt to it. However, I found myself completely immersed within it and vividly seeing the scenes cross my mind as McFadden eloquently gives a play-by-play description of each moment. As I was listening, I observed the timbre of McFadden’s voice for each character was clear and distinguishable. On one hand, some listeners may struggle with male characters being read by a female, I found that McFadden’s choice in timbre for these characters to be realistic and masculine. While many of the voices selected for the novel's character felt accurate, I found Lucy's best friend's voice to be displeasing to the ear as I found the voice to be a bit too prissy for my interpretation of Lucy’s best friend. At times, with specific words, I did find that Lucy's inflections to be annoying, but I wouldn't say that it did not fit the character's voice at the particular scenes. Neither Lucy and/or Lucy's best friend's voice took away from the story line and/ or my enjoyment from the novel.

Even though, the audiobook is just under nine hours long, the transitions between characters were seamless. While the transitions were on point, the overall flow and contour of the felt stilted about three fourths of the way through the novel. However, I do not believe that this was due to McFadden's narration of the novel. I believe that it comes from the writing during the building up moment of Jax and Lucy's acceptance and then during the third act break-up that felt a bit forced and rushed. As a reader, I felt that the storyline was building up well, but once the climax occurred and the action of the characters were established it felt rushed and out of place. I think adding a bit more build up and/or context within the third act break-up could have helped make it feel a bit more natural. Although, I was not a fan of the third act break-up moment, the ending to Jax and Lucy's HEA was cute and fun.

In addition, while I wanted more romantic in the bed room details, as it has been a theme of some current reads, I found that the light spice and minimal details described in this novel to be something I appreciated in the end. So many of the novels I read include some graphic details and it was a pleasant surprise to be able to find a novel that still brings the romance and some heat, but keeps it appropriate that I would be comfortable with allowing an older teenager/high schooler to read this book without hesitation. Some individuals may hesitate to allow this age group to read it as it does discuss desires of sexual behavior and substance usage, I felt that there were some great lessons and outlooks that Chase included within her character development. As truths are found and characters grow, the reader will observe discussions that explain the behaviors of what happened, why particular actions were taken, and how things could have been done better. Then Chase builds the characters even further by acknowledging the difficulties in accepting the repercussions of these actions and recognizing that this journey of acceptance is not easy, but learning how to work with the outcomes from your decisions and move foreword.

As a first time Samantha Chase reader, I overall enjoyed the story. It was fun, cute, and a great light read. For those who are looking to read this book, know that this is the third novel to the Wilder Love Series, but it does act as a stand alone in itself. I found that my enjoyment from this third installment has made me curious about the first two novels in the series and I have placed them on my TBR list because of this. Overall, Chase created a world full of diverse characters that will win your heart over and in some cases, as a reader, you may hope for a future story for a beloved character.

I am giving a 4.5 star rating to Amy McFadden on her performance and narration. While there were some voices I did not like and part of the ending felt stilted, Amy excelled at executing the diversity of meeting the characters and their personalities. Furthermore, I do not believe that the unnatural flow of the third act break-up was due to McFadden's performance, which leads me to rating the overall story and writing of Samantha Chase's novel to be a 4. The story was enjoyable, lighthearted and easy to read, but the third act break-up made the ending of my reading experience to be a little off putting. However, there are excellent PG-13 moments of heat, romance, humor, and character building that positively influence the overall enjoyment of Chase's novel. This is a novel I would recommend to those who are looking for a light and easy read and perhaps a little less action in the bedroom. I will admit I have begun listening to it again as I was preparing to write this review and the enjoyment factor has not worn off!

🤍Thanks to Samantha Chase and Valentine Pr for trusting me with their novel in return for my personal review🤍

Samantha Chase is my go to high great closed door romance author. Her specialty is cranking up the great and leaving things to the imagination. She builds the story with relatable themes and pulls you in. You become invested in a fabulous story and absolutely cheer for the HEA that is better then you could imagine.

Undeniable love by Samantha Chase is a great and easy to follow sports romance (but not to heavy on the sports!) Lucy is a physical therapist, who is ready to leave her small town, but it does not go the way that she plans. Jax Is her brothers best friend who moved away to play football years ago, after an accident. This story was not too complex, and it was a quick and easy storyline to follow. At some point, the narration was a little bit difficult to determine the POV, as the chapters were not labeled specifically. I would give this 🌶️🌶️/5 on spice, there is some romance involved, and some dirty talk, but it is a closed door romance for the main part. If you like the following tropes: enemies to lovers, miscommunication, and an HEA... then this is the next romance for you!

ALC Review

This audiobook was so good. The narrator did a great job at doing the different voices for this story! Audiobooks are my preferred method of reading(because life and kids). I thoroughly enjoyed this romance. It was cute and sexy and who doesn't love a brothers best friend trope!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good, quick listen if you're wanting a sweet romance with some tasteful spice and lots of tension and attraction!

Undeniable Love
Wylder Love Book 3
by Samantha Chase

FIVE STARS

I really love this author and her books! Lucy and Jax are so stinkin' cute together and I'm always a sucker for brothers best friend romances.

I really do NOT appreciate the way Lucy's so-called best friend reacted to her and Jax seeing each other. I understand that Lucy hated Jax one minute and was practically in love with him the next but her "best friend" was out of line and not even close to supportive.

Overall I loved it and I definitely recommend it. Samantha Chase writes a great story!

*Audio Book Review*

This was a great small town, enemies to lovers and brothers best friend love story. Lucy grew up hating Jax due to something that happened when they were kids. She held onto this grudge well into adulthood. Jax went on to play in the NFL and remained best friends with her brother. When Jax decides to open a camp for disabled children in their hometown, he asks Lucy to help out since she is a children's rehab physical therapist, not realizing she still held a grudge against him. Once these two get on the same page this story really takes off..

This story is really well written and just pulls you in. You get to see characters from the previous Wylder love books, which i have not read yet...so you dont need to read them first but you may enjoy the story more if you do.

I love Amy McFaddens narration on this book. She handles all the different voices fairly well.

I was given an ALC to listen to and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
