I received a copy of this audiobook from netGalley for a honest review.

I really enjoy Samantha Chase's books but this one had a little too much unnecessary drama. A long lost sister, a fake pregnancy story, etc. I did think that they were a cute couple and did belong together I just didn't see the need for the overly dramatic problems.

Undeniable Love is the third book in Samantha Chase’s Wylder Love series. Lucy Dawson has carried a hate for pro football quarterback Jax Wylder since her brother Tyler was involved in a life altering accident when Ty should not have been driving Jax’s car that was totaled by a car Wylder’s inebriated lowlife father was driving. Through many surgeries, many years of physical therapy, and a life unlike what he had originally envisioned, Ty is now working in real estate and closing big deals.

Lucy, after years of watching her brother’s recovery, has dedicated her life to physical therapy and concentrates on helping children. When an opportunity arises for Lucy to work with a new sports camp to help kids with disabilities being started by Jax Wylder she is hesitant. In addition to the camp there will be a full time physical therapy facility on the campus that Lucy has the chance to run. But it isn’t until Lucy learns how her memories and thinking are flawed that she is willing to work with Jax and so much more.

This is a delightful story of forgiveness, reframing memories, and launching unbelievably bright futures! I very much enjoyed these well drawn characters in a different type of story and I do recommend it!

Dual pov, small town, brothers best friend, third act breakup, third in a series, long distance, miscommunication

A cute brother’s best friend story, I listened to the audiobook. It’s a third in a series, I didn’t read book one, and I had no problem following the story. Both main characters are a little idiotic, but it’s in a loving way.

I just wish there was more. I have read and listened to a few of this authors books, and this series in particular seems short. They don’t seem rushed, but just not as full as some of her other books.

Thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for an early read of this book. All thought are my own, I do not accept money for reviews.

This was a sweet story. A little too sweet for me maybe. I don’t know if I would have enjoyed it more with a different narrator - maybe. The narrator wasn’t for me and I can’t quite put my finger on why.

I liked many parts of the book. The start was intriguing and some parts here and there were really good, but it also lacked a bit of depth for me.

Tropes and stuff:
🏈Football romance
♥️Small town
🏈Brother’s best friend
♥️Enemies to lovers-ish
🏈Closed door romance

So yeah, this book was just not for me.

Jax is a professional quarterback who prefers to relax after a game by playing video games with a couple of his teammates. On a rare occurrence when he decides to go out it results in negative publicity that he needs to overcome. As a result, he has fast forwarded his plan to open a sports facility in his hometown with the help of his best friend Tyler and his sister Lucy.

Lucy is a physiotherapist who specializes in children, and she would be the perfect person to help out at the facility. She has always blamed Jax for an event in the past that changed the course of her brother’s life, so she has her reservations about getting involved. As she learns more about what happened and gets to know Jax the sparks fly however their very different lifestyles, and the demands of their careers don’t always make it easy.

Both Lucy and Jax have supportive families and friends who are there for them when challenges arise and show them that they can have it all including each other. I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the performance as the narrator did a great job with both the characters of Lucy and Jax.

⭐⭐⭐⭐
No Spice

Undeniable Love is the 3rd book in the Wylder Love series. I am enjoying this sweet and low angst small town series for the Wylder brothers.

Jax Wylder is a successful NFL quarterback player near the end of his career. He is thinking about retiring and trying to figure out his next steps for a career after football. He wants to open up a sports camp for disabled kids due to an accident that ended his best friend's chances to play football. He wants to ask his friend's sister Lucy to help him out since she is a pediatric physical therapist. However, she hates him. Lucy blames Jax for her brother's accident since he was supposed to be driving and holds a big grudge against him. She quickly learns she didn't have the full story and agrees to help him out with this project.

Lucy and her brother end up spending a weekend at Jax's place, and she now sees him in a different light. They are both attracted to each other and decide to have a weekend fling. However, they can't stop thinking about each other and try to date secretly. There are some complications with the long distance and issues with Jax's public image. I thought they were sweet together and had good chemistry. Just be prepared, this book is closed door so there is no spice. I don't mind low spice, but I was hoping for some in this. I also thought the 3rd act conflict came out of nowhere, and it was not needed.

🎧 Audiobook Review 🎧
I listened to this on audiobook, and I flew through it in one sitting. Amy McFadden did a great job doing the narration, and she is able to voice female and male characters perfectly. I just always prefer a male narrator to be included in my audiobooks. This audiobook was a quick and easy listen.

(3⭐️s) 🚩This most likely will contain SPOILERS so be warned 🚩

I listened to this book so this review will be based on the audiobook. Narrated by Amy McFadden

This story is about Lucy Dawson and Jax Wylder

What I liked:
- The connection between the MCs
- The beginning. I was hooked from the first chapter.
- The MCs Family/Siblings/Friends. I’m hoping everyone gets their own books
- The FMC knowing when shes wrong and having no issues apologizing. Also the MMC knowing shes wrong and having no problems letting her know it.

What I didn’t like:
- There was a long pause (5+ seconds) between each chapter. This is an ARC so it may just be my copy.
- I wish there were names of who was speaking/thinking for each chapter. It did get confusing at times to the point that I had to go back a couple steps to figure out whose POV I was in.
- I didn’t like how the MCs didn’t act their age most of the book especially the FMC. Shes supposed to be a Pediatric Physical Therapist and yet she acted like an annoying teenager.
- They make it out like the FMC is the only Pediatric Physical Therapist in their town and yet, she has no problems leaving for long periods of time while shes still treating patients.

What I REALLY didn’t like:
- Nothing bad happened to Blake.
- The way the MMC treated the FMC in the end in order to “concentrate on football”. He literally went no contact with her. NONE!! Didn’t even think/talk about her (except for the 2 seconds his brother brought her up) the whole time they were separated. Heck, he thrived with her not being around to the point that I started questioning if he truly even loved her since he did so well without her. Only to have her go running to him?? Yah…No. And i’m sure others will disagree with me on this one but I don’t feel like there was any true groveling from him.

Overall: I’m gonna have to say this was an okay read/listen. There were parts that I really liked and parts that I didn’t as you can tell from above.

Happy Reading🖤

Oh and I received an ARC from NetGalley but this review is 100% all me.

A cute enemies to lovers with some football thrown in. It was a great listen, maybe a little predictable but nonetheless enjoyable.

This was my first book in this series and I didn't feel lost. It reads well as a standalone. A sweet small-town, enemies to lovers, brother's best friend story. Lucy was a bit annoying at times at first but she redeemed herself later. At one point I wondered why Jax wanted her but then I realized they fit for some reason. I loved the interactions between Lucy and Jax with their respective siblings. Narration was ok enough to keep me invested in the story.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to listen and review.

This was a cute solid romance that was breezy and fun. Nothing major to weigh down the story and it flowed nicely.

Years ago in high school Lucy’s brother, Tyler, was in an accident with his friend Jax that caused him to not be able to play football anymore. Jax went on to become a star football player and Lucy has held a grudge ever since even though Tyler and Jax have remained close.

Present day, Jax wants to open a camp for kids with disabilities in his hometown and wants Lucy to come on board since she is a pediatric physical therapist and he thinks her expertise would benefit the children and help the camp be successful.

When he discusses the camp with Lucy , she declines and when he pushes, she tells him off. Her anger towards Jax is quickly extinguished when her brother sits her down and finally tells her what happened that fateful night. Keeping big details from young siblings led to her grudge and a misunderstanding about her brother's accident and thus caused her to place blame where it was not due, aka on Jax.

Once the air is cleared, she starts to see Jax in a new night light and this paves the way for their attraction to each other to bloom. After Tyler and Lucy visit Jax in Wichita, Lucy and Jax finally act on their attraction but will it be one night or many more?

I liked how the misunderstanding and grudge did not drag out for a long time or also keep dragging the book down. It was quickly and neatly cleared up and this allowed them to move forward and start a new friendship and more. This was an easy read and had some nice tender moments. Perfect for a Sunday morning with a cuppa coffee.

Huge thanks to NetGalley and Valentine PR for sharing this book’s digital advanced review copy with me in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this arc!

What a great romcom!! This is a first for me by this author but will not be my last. It was such a cute story! The writing style is great and I loved the characters chemistry.

Another terrific read from Samantha Chase! This is #3 in the Wylder Series, but can absolutely be read on its own.

🛑🛑 Going to give an outline below, so if you don’t want to know any more about the book, please stop here! 🛑🛑

Jax Wylder is a famous QB for a Kansas football team. His best friend is Tyler. They’ve been best friends since they were toddlers. But, on HS graduation night, there was an accident. And, well, lives were changed…forever…
Tyler has forgiven Jax, but his little sister, Lucy…well, she has Not!

Lucy is a Pediatric Physical Therapist, and she’s really good at what she does!
So, when Jax decides to open up a kind of sports complex for kids, including a treatment facility, he wants Lucy to be involved. But…she wants nothing to do with him or it. No matter what he says. And so he finally tells her she may not know everything she thinks she does…

As the story unfolds, truths come out that happened all those years ago…and she can’t help but forgive him…at least a little.

But what she finds out is that he’s actually a nice guy!

And so their story begins…

Very sweet. Very secret. Friends to lovers kind of romance, but with some definite HUGE mountains to cross…

4 big happy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me!

Thanks to #NetGalley and #DreamscapeMedia for an ARC of the audiobook which released yesterday, 9/17/24…so it should be on shelves now!

Jax and Lucy were perfect for each other. She could never forgive him because of one night years ago. Even with her brother being best friends with Jax she couldn’t let the accident go. When the truth finally comes out, I was glad to see her admit she had been wrong. Jax was a wonderful guy, he just focused on the wrong thing from time to time.

Once they decide to give a relationship a try, they are so great together. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know how to take criticism and pushes her away when his career starts to suffer. Enter her and his brothers. This series is awesome.

The narrator did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life. She brought emotion to every word and made it feel as though I was in the story, not listening. I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.

Undeniable Love is the 3rd book in the Wylder Love series but it can be read as a standalone.

I loved Lucy and Jax. Nothing like a good small town, enemies to lovers, sports romance.
Jax an NFL quarterback is on the brink of some life changes. He’s juggling possible retirement, and going back home to help his community. Little did he know that Lucy would be his new distraction. Lucy, a pediatric physical therapist has lived in South Creek her whole life. Her past has hindered her future to some extent. Her outlook changed when her nemesis Jax asked her to join his team for a kids camp with disabilities. Preconceived notions that she had shifted and slowly but surely these two enemies became so much more. Of course, things got sassy, and they had banter. They also had hurdles that they had to overcome come together and independently. I’m glad that in the end they were able to figure things out. I loved seeing how his siblings really jumped in to help him out in needed times. Getting updates on the whole clan is always a good time. The book was narrated by Amy McFadden. She’s done a lot of the narrations for this author. This book is in 3rd POV. While I don’t mind the 3rd POV and Amy did good with the different characterizations but I do prefer a dual narration. She did keep me engaged with her narration style and keep the book flowing as I was listening. Great listen

Rivals to lovers mixed with a football small town romance vibes.

Lucy is a thriving pediatric physical therapist who despite not having much of a personal life as of late loves her life. Despite having an ex-fiance her #1 most hated man in her life is Jax Wylder, her brother's childhood friend. Jax is an NFL superstar who has held onto a lot of guilt for a mistake from his past. One car accident changed not only his life but his best friends as well. When he starts to think about life after the NFL he finds himself in a business venture that might mean spending time with Lucy despite how much she may hate him. The line of love and hate is thin but is this something they can overcome?

I really enjoyed this book. It is probably one of my favorites from Samantha chase. She did a beautiful job talking about the family dynamics and the impact that would have on their relationship as well as their past history. I will say I thought a little bit more of his past would play a larger role than it did in the obstacles that they face.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves a small town romance. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this story.

I liked this audiobook, great narration.
I'm not a huge fan of book written at the third person so I had a hard time getting used to it, but the story was lovely. It's my first book from this author and not the last, I want to read more books written by her.

It was an audiobook only narrated by one narrator, so it was weird at the beginning but with the minutes passing I was getting used to it.

Not the perfect story but a lovely one. If you love third person book, brother's best friend and enemies to lovers then this book is for you.

I am not a huge fan of third person but I had fun with this one. The writing had me interested from the start and I absolutely adored the characters.

Undeniable Love is book #3 in the Wylder Love series.

Tropes:
• Brothers best friend
• Sports Romance

This is actually the first book of Samantha Chase that I have read/listened to. I love the idea of hearing a book before reading it because the narrator brings the book to life before you have a chance to create the scene yourself!

I don’t generally go for sports romance but this one was great! I’m glad I took a chance with Jax and Lucy!

Lucy grew up believing Jax ruined her brother’s life so she turned her heart off to him but when she learns that sometimes things aren’t black and white and she didn’t know the whole story, her heart opened up.

5 Star Review Undeniable Love (Wylder Love #3) by Samantha Chase

Ebook/Audio:

Book three in the latest series from Samantha Chase and was a great addition and is and’s story.

This is enemies to lovers Jax Wylder and Lucy Dawson set in South Creek.
I loved their journey. It is a story of forgiveness and hope and one that ticked all the boxes for me.

I was quickly invested in the story that Ms. Chase wove. As they both came to terms with the past has I was cheering for them to get the happily ever after that they both deserved.

Amy McFadden narrates Undeniable Love, and she did a good job with her performance. Her voice is easy to listen to, although I would prefer that a man narrated the male characters, but then that is just my opinion. She brought the angst, romance, passion, and witty banter to the characters and did justice to the story that Ms. Chase wove.

I received a copy of the audio book from the publisher through Net Galley.

I have really enjoyed this author's books so I was very excited to read this one! Jax is a football player celebrating a night out after a win, when, agains his friends judgement and pleading, he brings along a random woman to help celebrate. She ends up getting a little wild and crazy, steals his car, takes tons of drunken videos and tries to extort him for money. In an attempt to change his bad press, he goes public with a side project that he has been wanting to get off the ground for a while. He partners with his best friend's sister (who happens to be pediatric physical therapist) to begin the early stages of opening a camp for children that have physical disabilities. This was not one of my favorite books by this author. I felt like the timeline was not as easy to follow, feelings were developed super fast. With this being the third book in the series, I also felt like there was a back story that was just explained rather than experienced. I will continue to read this author's books, but this one was just ok for me. #UndeniableLove #NetGalley
