Read if you love:
-Sports Romance
-Brother's Best Friend
-slight enemies to lovers vibes

I thought this was super cute. It is sort of enemies to lovers (but only SHE hates HIM, not the other way around) and a great Sports romance (MMC is in the NFL). They have a history but work through it together. There were a few moments I thought we were getting into "miscommunication as a trope" territory but thankfully, the characters talked through things (thank God because these are adults, lol). I thought this was a good romance and the family relationships were one of my favorite aspects of the storyline.

This captivating small-town, enemies-to-lovers romance hits all the right notes. Lucy’s resentment toward Jax has simmered since childhood, but when he returns to town, she uncovers the truth about their past. As they reconcile, their undeniable chemistry takes center stage. Though they encounter a few hurdles, they work together to tackle them. Amy McFadden’s brilliant narration adds to the story by infusing each character with depth and emotion. Even though it's the third book in the Wilder Love series, it works seamlessly as a standalone. If you love small town romances, definitely add this one to your TBR.

Wylder Love Book 3 is my favorite book so far in this series. I listened to the audiobook version of this title. Narration by Amy McFadden. Amy McFadden has quickly become one of my favorite Narrators. She did an excellent job voicing all characters.
She grew up with a looming cloud of resentment from an accident that happened that to her teenage brother.
He lived the stolen life of his best friend. A successful professional football star wanting to right his wrongs. This caused their paths to collide and the enemies to lovers journey began.
As the third installment to this series, you do not need to read the other books to enjoy this one. Samantha Chase is a talented Author. Every book she writes is good!

This was a charming small town sports romance between a physical therapist and a pro football player. While this is the third book in a series, it can be read as a standalone. Good on audio and recommended for fans of authors like Piper Rayne. I was a tad disappointed that this was a fade to black/closed door romance though. Overall still a light-hearted, entertaining listen. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early audio copy in exchange for my honest review.

Undeniable Love is a fabulous brothers best friend romance. Lucy has had a grudge against her brothers best friend, Jax , for years. After finding out that what she had believed for all of these years was untrue, Lucy has to apologize for her behavior. Jax is wanting Lucy to help on a project he is starting and after spending some time alone with her, he realizes he is developing feelings for her. I loved Jax and Lucy together from their witty banter, to the way they are with their family. This would be why Samatha Chase is one of my favorite authors. I enjoyed the story line and all of the characters.

Amy McFadden narration just brought more to this already fabulous story. She brought all of the characters to life.

ALC REVIEW: Undeniable Love by Samantha Chase

Release Date: September 17, 2024
Genre: Sports Roamance
Format: Audiobook
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book # for 2024: #83

SYNOPSIS: Lucy Dawson is a small town girl looking to escape her monotonous life. Jax Wylder is the NFL superstar looking to return to his roots. Twelve years ago, he nearly destroyed her family. Now, they’re working together and the attraction she feels is completely undeniable.

MY THOUGHTS: I think I may officially be in my Sports Romance Era…or at least my Football Era. I enjoyed this book so much! The romance between Jax and Lucy was super sweet! They’re both super likeable characters, so it was easy to root for them.

I also really enjoyed the narration of this audiobook. Amy McFadden did a great job of giving each character a distinct voice. I will definitely be looking for other audiobooks she has narrated!

I will say that I don’t really feel like they were truly enemies. Jax never disliked Lucy and Lucy was extremely misguided in her dislike for Jax. The issue was resolved rather quickly.

Overall, if you love a sports romance with small town vibes with a dash of a PR scandal, you’d love this book and I highly recommend it!

Thank you for Samantha Chase and Valentine PR for the ALC!

I am such a huge Samantha Chase fan, and I love everything I’ve had a chance to read from her, so far! The Wylder Love series is another new favorite and I definitely recommend this one to everybody, and this book/series. These Wylder brothers are all so different but these three books are all just absolutely fantastic! And all three brothers are there for each other.

Undeniable Love is the finale in this trilogy, which is too bad because I was falling for all three brothers and now the series is wrapped … I guess I’ll have to keep re-reading them all to get my Wylder bro fix!

Jax is an NFL star, out living the dream, while his bestie is back home still a bit disabled from a drunk driving accident caused by Jax’s father on their graduation night. Jax and Ty were supposed to go to the NFL together until his father hit them that night, and Ty’s injuries were severe.

Lucy, Ty’s sister, has never forgiven or forgotten that accident, which left her brother broken, injured and unable to follow his dreams, and her family financially devastated from the medical bills…. And now Jax is asking her for a huge work favor and telling her she doesn’t know the whole story. Can she discover the facts and forgive, work together and follow her heart, or hold a grudge that has been in place in her heart all these years…

Another fantastic Chase story and great way to wrap the Wylder Love trilogy. I loved having all of the brothers so involved in this one, how it all played out, the chemistry, family dynamics especially, and didn’t even mind that it was closed door! Highly recommend it and the whole Wylder Love series!!

Audio was narrated by Amy McFadden, like many of Chase’s books are, and you can always count on her for a very solid and excellent performance. I really enjoy her voice and know she’s going to do a great job when I pick up anything with her name on it! Another great job, Amy!

I received an advance reader copy from Valentine PR, and advance listen copy from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media, and this is my honest feedback.

if you love enemies to lovers look no further than Jax Wylder and Lucy Dawson’s story in Undeniable Love (Wylder Love #3). I love my visits to South Creek and this is a wonderful addition to the series.
This is a journey about hope, forgiveness and learning to trust and it will appeal to a wide range of audiences. I was captivated from the first to the last line as I fell hard and fast for Jax and Lucy.
The narration by Amy McFadden ticked all my boxes. She was spot on with the witty banter, the drama and the passion as she brought the characters and their story to life.
Another beautifully written story from the very talented Samantha Chase.
I received a copy of the audio book from the publisher through Netgalley.

I am quickly getting on board the Sports Romance train. There’s a certain added adrenaline when you add in the fate of a game and the pressures that come with it. Lucy and Jax are adorable. Two fun loving, strong willed determined individuals who know how to fight for what they want in life. Sometimes that fight is counterproductive to relationships but in the end you know it will work out, hea guaranteed. I am fully onboard for the family dynamics. Both characters have such supportive friends and family that you can’t help but want to join the crew. The spicy times were caliente, the humor delicious and the sweetness meltable. A truly fun story to listen to. The narration was spot on, exactly how I would imagine each character.

Undeniable Love is the third romance book in the Wylder Love series. Lucy Dawson has always wanted to get out of her hometown of South Creek and her upcoming wedding is the way out. At least it was until she catches the groom with the wedding photographer. After calling off the wedding, Lucy is at loose ends until Jax Wylder comes back into her life. Jax is a quarterback in the NFL and Lucy’s brother’s best friend. The problem is that Lucy holds a grudge against Jax from years before and Jax has no clue about it. He comes face to face with Lucy’s wrath when he comes to town and hopes to enlist her help with his new plans for a facility that will help disabled kids play sports. As a pediatric physical therapist this is more than Lucy could have dreamed of, but her feeling towards Jax threaten to get in her way. Will Lucy be able to let go of the last and get over her dislike of Jax or will the past get in the way of a future?

Brother’s best friend, enemies to lovers, small town romance, sports romance. What more could I ask for? These are all some of my favorite tropes and I loved seeing them all bundled up into one romance. This romance pulled me in from the beginning and I really enjoyed listening to it. I loved Jax and thought he was a great leading man. Lucy got on my nerves sometimes at the beginning with her strong dislike of Jax and her grudge from over a decade before. I listened to an audiobook version of this book and it was a very easy and fast read. Everything flowed nicely and I really enjoyed it. I haven’t read any of the other books in this series but now I’m intrigued and want to check those out too. If you are a fan of sports romances, enemies to lovers and brother’s best friends tropes, or any of the above, this would be a good romance for you!

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the audiobook arc of "Undeniable Love“ by Samantha Chase.

Lucy has known (and despised) Jax, her brothers best friend, for years. After she realizes her decade long grudge is unfounded, Lucy and Jax spend time getting to know each other. They get closer while working on a shared project combining their two interests, sports and pediatric physiotherapy.

The story had all the aspects I look for I a good romance book. I especially enjoyed the fiery personality of the FMC Lucy. The narration was great and I enjoyed listening to it.

This brothers best friend romance is so good! Lucy has know Jax for a long time since he is her brothers best friend but she has been mad at him for years since he is the reason her brother couldn’t play college football due to a car accident. Jax is a pro football player who is trying to bring a clinic back to his hometown for disabled kids. He wants Lucy to work there as the pediatric physiotherapist but she is not wanting to jump just yet. As she spends more time with Jax talking about the project, she starts to develop feelings for him. This is more of a closed door romance with lead up to spicy scenes without too much detail. Overall, it was a good, easy listen!

Undeniable Love is a brothers best friend, closed door romance set in small town with main characters Lucy and Jax. I loved their story and appreciated the closed door romance, not every book needs smut and if your in the mood for a sweet sports romance with found family and overall feel good vibes, this is the book for you.

This story is about Lucy and Jax. Lucy is a physiotherapist for kids with disabilities, and Jax was a football player who got retired recently and moved to his hometown so he could open a camp for the kids who are dealing with disabilities. The idea hit Jax for various reasons, like the sense of guilt because of what happened to Ty, his best friend, and Lucy's brother due to an accident, and also because of a PR situation where some attention-crazed girl took a picture of him and his teammate at the afterparty of a win. Sure, he has some years to go and play, but he's home sick and wants the stability of it, so when it was ever put in place, he decided to buy land and work on his retirement plan. Lucy recently found the BF she meant to marry cheated on her and was single. She is a pediatric physiotherapist, and it has something to do with her brother Ty injury, which she believes was Jax's fault. She hated him to the bone even more than her cheating ex, but we will see in the story how it changed.

So this is a slice of life story in the small town and the "you have no choice but dealing with me" situation. Lucy hates Jax because she believes it was his fault that Ty was injured to the point where he could have died but, by luck, survived, though it wasn't entirely Jax's fault. Ty and Jax were best friends since kindergarten and played football since they were kids, and they had a dream to make it to the NFL, but the accident left Ty nearly disabled, but Ty never considered Jax responsible for it, and they still stayed friends. There is a lot of hostility from Lucy toward Jax, and it's kind of understandable when you see how close they are in the book. On the other hand, Jax, also bothered by the feeling of guilt, made a decision to buy land in his hometown so he could do something for the kids with problems, so he could feel better. He has no idea that Lucy still hung on the accident like he is, and that's kind of turning into the hate to companion to lover" trope since Lucy only claims to do anything in the book because of Ty and the kids.

It's a dual pov of Lucy and Jax. The author's description of the book is high-low pace, it's like Lucy's hatred was explained and sure it's valid, but her feeling on many occasions seems like relaxing and easy. It's like every raise of emotions only directs at Jax. and we have Jax. Who is like, "They told me it's a bad idea, but I'm a captain of my own ship" guy? He did try to explain the situation to Lucy and ease the hostility, and there are moments when you feel like "the guy needs a break," but somehow it also makes it hard to emphasize with him since every time he only decides to act on his own accord, and sometimes it goes to the left side. But sure, the relationship is hard earned, and I think the overall is good. It's not hard earned of the "knight in shining armor or villain sacrifice" earned; it's a kind where characters try to see other than their own selves and feelings and are "I need to be patient".

I rate the book 3 and the development also 3. I say the point where every character tries to deal with his own issues and consider the future is really hit. I have this easy time when I enjoy Lucy or Jax making some decisions, which is critical, but they act so calm it's looked like easy. This book is surely a good choice for those who need a slice of life that looked boring but is full of events

Chase brings her best moves to the table with Undeniable Love. The heart speaks it's truth with haunting accuracy and soulful delivery. Jax and Lucy turn heartache into hope. From the tragedies of their past to the redemption of their present and hope for the future, the emotions run deep. A love beyond words that has alot to say.

I would say this book was just ok. Not bad, but also didn’t knock my socks off. Admittedly, I didn’t read the previous books, and I see this is part of a series. Everything made sense and I never felt lost or confused, so I would say it’s ok to read as a standalone, but maybe it would be better with more background?

The narrator was easy to understand, but there was something strange about how she said some endings of words that stuck out to me. She did ok with the male parts which is sometimes a challenge. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to listen and review.

I love Samantha Chase romances. I like knowing that there will be loving main characters, who are adults and can talk. They have supportive family and best friends who will love them and can tease and provoke them as well. I enjoy the tension and heat between the leads and while I have no issues with more explicit romances, I like that there are well written romances for people who don’t want every intimacy described.

Lucy Dawson has never forgiven Jax Wilder for the pain he and his family inflicted on her family twelve years ago. She has gone on to be pediatric physical therapist in her home town of South Creek, but wants to move on to bigger places. Jax is now a successful quarterback in the NFL. He has dreams of opening up a sports camp for kids with disabilities. One of his best friends, who is also Lucy’s brother, suggests property in their hometown. It brings the star quarterback and Lucy together for the first time in years. Her work is a perfect fit for helping with his dream project.

This is a very enjoyable story. There is enough football to consider it a sports romance as well. It is the third in the Wylder Love series. And I am assuming his brothers and their wives were the main characters in the previous books. They all make appearances here and it is clear they support Jax even when he isn’t making the best decisions. I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the narration by Amy McFadden. I’ve already looked to see if the previous books are available at my local library. (Only one so far.) (4.5 Stars)

I would've liked to have known it was in 3rd person pov ahead of time. Also would've loved to have a male's voice for his perspective.
Other than that, the story hit all the marks and was good. I'm just not the biggest fan of 3rd person pov.
