I received this as an ARC ❤️ If you like a very slooooowwwww burn, you'll love the pacing of this book!! It is filled with a lot of backstage information and antics. 4 stars for me, I prefer a way faster pace. Just a personal preference.

If you’re a fan of books set in the Hollywood / film and television world, there’s a lot of entertainment to be found in this book for you. Everything that plays out feels believable and keeps you entertained with all the different antics you might find on a set.

As for the love story, Jory and Cali both are fully fleshed out characters with believable backstories that explain out their reluctance towards making a connection. I really loved all of their interactions in the latter half of the book.

My only qualm with this book is that I had a bit of a hard time sympathizing with Jory’s character towards the beginning, and he really takes his time with doing the right thing in regards to the conflict.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read and I’m excited to see what Noel Stark does next!
