As a native Virginian, I always love reading about Edgar Allan Poe. He lived such a tragic life, but produced such wonderful work.

Concise, accessible and insightful, this short biography of Edgar Allan Poe is an excellent introduction to the man and his work. Well-researched, readable and entertaining, I very much enjoyed it.

This book was reviewed on my blog a very long time ago. Since then I have migrated to a new blogging home and this review is either hiding in my archives or somewhere in the ether. (Sad times)
