Murders and twists and turns, oh my! I loved every single moment in this newest installment of this amazing and thrilling series. Laurel Snow and Huck Rivers are quite the couple. She is brilliant and he has all the street smarts as well as being a swoony protective boyfriend. I love them together so much! And they make a great team working together as do their FBI and Fish & Wildlife teams. But trouble sure has its way of surrounding them. Things get quite dicey for Huck in this one but Laurel knows and trusts him so her faith in him never waivers. As always her sister Abigail’s behavior is very disturbing maybe even more than usual, and now their father Zeke is back and boy is he your typical narcissistic egomaniac. Regardless of them, I truly enjoyed this book so much! I am pretty sure there will be more since this one seems to end but not really. I look forward to more of Laurel and Huck!

This book will make you sleep with the lights on! Our beloved FBI Laurel Snow and Fish and Wildlife Office Huck Rivers find themselves in a fight for their lives trying to catch a killer or is it killers? This story is face paced and will keep you guessing til the end.

I received an ARC copy in exchange for my own opinion.

I can't get enough of this series, I simply enjoy everything about it. The chemistry between Lauren and Huck and how well he completely gets her quirks. The way she drives into a murder and completely pulls it apart step by step makes the story even more interesting. Even the how the friends and family all play into it make build even more. Great thriller until the very end and hope we get more to come.

I keep saying this series needs to end, and I thought this would be the final book. Zanetti has a way of keeping readers enticed, so I stuck with it.

However, how often do we need to know that spring is late in coming (I stopped counting) or that Agent Walter Smudgeon had lost weight? (He went on vacation, otherwise, it would have probably been mentioned at least a half-dozen times more.

But, back to the story. This was a page-turner and if not for the fact that she's dragged this series too long it would likely be my favorite of the books. And though this book "ends" she's left it open for another installment, which I now hope will happen. Nothing infuriates me more than reading a book or series left open-ended. Now, I'm hoping there will be a fifth (and final) installment.

I love this series. The characters are so good and vivid in her writing I can picture them in my head like a movie as I read.

Laurel and Huck have to protect each from people trying hurt them from all directions. Are they up to the task or will they fail?

Five stars for the newest Laurel Snow book! You Can Kill has everything you want in a romantic thriller. Intrigue and mystery, twists and turns. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the book. It was nicely balanced with the strong chemistry and growing relationship between FBI Agent Laurel Snow and her beau, Captain Huck Rivers, Fish and Wildlife. They are surrounded by so many characters during their investigation, it becomes hard to distinguish friend from foe. For a while things do not look good for either one of them. Rebecca Zanetti always delivers, wrapping up loose ends and providing an unexpected resolution to the investigation.

This is the fourth book in an excellent romantic thriller series and I’d recommend reading the first three books in the series first.

Another stellar addition to the Laura Snow series! These characters are so fascinating to me and I honestly could read this series over and over...which I already have. Laurel is such a unique character and I love everything about her. Huck is the grumpy, protective, alpha hero that I also absolutely love. When he starts accepting his love for Laurel, he's a pretty swoon worthy hero. Laurel's sister and father are majorly disturbing and part of why I'm fascinated with what's going on in this series. I loved it and I want more!

I love this series , i think i have mentioned before I like to get HEA for a couple in each book but this series is so good and each book their relationship makes progress .
The mystery in this book is interesting because you are not sure if there are 1 or 2 killers .
The relationship between Laurel and her sister is becoming interesting and I am looking forward to the end of the series to see how Ms zanetti resolves it

Another amazing story in the Laurel Snow series. I love these characters so much and I always look forward to sending a whole day with them. Just when you think things might settle down a little bit for Huck and Laurel they don’t. It seems like their little small town is the hub for evil people. While they are trying to solve more murders, things start to happen that will finally give some hope for the future. There will be a great loss but also a chance for healing. I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was my first read in the series. But I was still able to easily follow the story and the characters.

I love a good police procedural with a great whodunnit and well developed characters. Laurel and Huck were great together. They really complimented one another.

I also enjoyed the side characters as well. I look forward to reading the other books in the series.

I’ve read several of this series and Ms. Zanetti is favorite of mine for weaving suspense and romance into propulsive thrillers. The frigid temps in the Pacific Northwest are foreign to this Texan and I enjoy the different setting. FBI Special Agent Laurel Snow has family drama that makes TV reality shows seem tame. There’s Abigail, Laurel’s crazy, ruthless half sister. She’s dating another member of the FBI which complicates an already volatile family dynamic. Then there’s the father, Zeke, a pastor whose past is very suspicious and ungodlike. Her Mom is the only reliable thing in Laurel’s world other than the deepening relationship with Huck. He’s with Fish and Wildlife, has a great dog and their cases can overlap. The diabolic, evil forces surrounding Laurel collide in this plot with emotional and devastating consequences. The body count escalates as a killer hits very close to home. It was another case that had me scrambling for clues and guessing possibilities. I can’t wait to see what happens next with Laurel and Huck.

Absolutely fantasic it had so many twists and turns in the storyline that it kept you guessing the whole time. The story had you playing the guessing game with some of the new characters that were introduced in this book and I enjoyed the characters from the previous books, the characters are strong, smart, and some of them very calculating which makes for a good story and I honestly love Huck and Laurels relationship it is evolving and changing all through the series I love it. Definitely worth the read I'm looking forward to the next book.

Laurel Snow #4 – This is one of my favorite series. Zanetti has really built her three main characters, (Laurel, Huck and Abigail) that you want to find out what they have been up to every time you pick up a new book. Zanetti has really built a wonderful villain in Abigail, Laurel’s half-sister, and in each book, Abigail gets more twisted and eviler. This series has plenty of suspense, twists and romance and much more. I read this book in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. Since Laurel arrived in Genesis Valley, Washington there have been more serial killers working in the area. Laurel is an FBI Special Agent who works alongside her boyfriend, Huck Rivers, who is a Wildlife Captain. Jason Abbot, the Witch Creek Killer, has escaped from the hospital and has threaten both Laurel and Abigail because they were the ones to catch him. Laurel now racing against the clock to find Jason before he starts to kill again. I highly recommend this series which gets better and better with each book. Thank you, Netgalley and Mass Market Paperback for providing me with an advanced reader’s copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

FBI Special Agent Laurel Snow and Captain Huck Rivers of Fish and Wildlife are once again deep in the thick of a series of gruesome murders that seem to haunt this small rural Washington town. Laura has already had to deal with several personal issues including her super creepy sociopath half-sister who seems obsessed with her and a narcissistic, seriously evil father, Zeke Caine.

The first target and subsequent women who become victims have ties to Laurel and her family. To complicate matters, Laurel and Huck are still working a case from a previous serial killer who may also be back in action. There is no shortage of suspects with Laurel’s crazy family in the mix. And a further complication is Laurel’s early-stage pregnancy which she would like to keep secret as long as possible.

Someone has targeted Laurel’s associates at work as well so she must keep protecting them along with other family while she and Huck try to solve the crime before more people pay the ultimate price. Huck is involved in more than a professional way as well besides his relationship with Laurel and their unborn child.

Laurel can barely catch a break between late season snow and rain storms, victims continually popping up, office staff in danger, and her own changing biology. As the fourth book in the Laurel Snow series, readers will know what to expect from her high intellect and problem-solving capabilities at work for the FBI. That this case skews to the highly personal makes everything more intense.

While I enjoy this series quite a bit and look forward to the next installment, it is beginning to seem a somewhat bizarre that so many evil murderers and nutjobs live in this very rustic area of Washington State. This story in particular, because of the familial connections to Laurel, has even more heart wrenching elements so readers be warned. Ms. Zanetti is taking her fans through an angst ridden hard ride with this book.

I don't even know what to say about this book that won't be a spoiler. If there is not a next book in this series that redeems the loss H and L suffered, I will riot! I feel like the last twenty five percent of this book could have me suing for emotional damages. Dang you Rebecca!! I've never cried in a Laurel book UNTIL NOW.

I would round the rating up to a 4.25*
You Can Kill is the 4th book in Rebecca Zanetti's Laurel Snow series. I absolutely love the character of Laurel Snow. An off the charts genius with a touch of Asperger's, she brings a large glass of logic to bringing serial killers to justice. The secondary characters of love interest Huck Rivers, her mother Deidre and the group of ragtag employees of the thrown together FBI office in the Pacific Northwest and their partner the Fish and Wildlife Service make this a well rounded read. Evil abounds in Genesis Valley and one of the most evil characters has escaped from custody. Serial killer, Jason Abbott was apprehended by Laurel in the previous book. Faking a suicide, he gets taken to the hospital and in the aftermath, a series of murders happen. They are nothing like the his previous kills though, so has he changed his methods or is there a new killer in town?
If you have not read the previous books in the series, it would help to read them first, but it is not absolutely necessary. This book grips the reader from the very beginning running the emotional gamut. Laurel's character continues to grow with each successive book. A couple of characters are a bit over the top with a hint of the caricature, but that is about the only critique I can give these romantic suspense books. I cannot wait for book 5.

Laurel and Huck are back and its another gruesome case as women turn up dead close to water. It cannot be a coincidence that a local killer has recently escaped but with a connection to Huck what is really going on ! Brutal murders to solve, Laurels evil manipulative father back in town and of course her twisted cuckoo sister around what more could this couple have to deal with ? Well there is the baby Laurel is carrying but for her it's business as usual with a killer on the loose .
A tight, twisting plot that keeps the reader eagerly turning the pages. As I reached the end I realised that rather than red herrings the author this time left breadcrumbs for us to follow so don't blink and miss them ! This was a solid addition to the series with a shocker of an ending. I've heard of keeping enemies close but what if it's family ? Let's face it Laurels sister Abigail is never going to leave the couple in peace so I'm very much intrigued by what the next book will bring.
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

This is one of my favorite thriller/crime series out there! It picked up right where the last book ended and boy, were we in for a ride. Pastor Zeke is still causing issues, more women are being murdered, and it's clear someone is trying to separate Laurel from her close knit circle. But who? Of course we can't forget Abigail. I honestly can't wait for her to get what's coming to her.

I liked that we learned more about Huck in this installment of the series. He still feels like such a big mystery. The relationship between Laurel & Huck is one of my favorites. He's always supportive and never feels intimated by her intelligence. I always get Booth/Bones vibes from them.

Rebecca does a great job of setting the scene and making you feel like you're in the icy wilderness of the PNW. I wouldn't be mad if this series went on for 10 more books, or more. I'm always hooked from page one and by the end, there's always a new surprise and something to make you crave the next book in the series.

This book did end on a bit of a gut punch and with a shock, but that's what keeps me coming back to this series. You just never know what's going to happen next.
