A string of brutal murders is leaving a grisly trail across the Pacific Northwest—and drawing rising star FBI profiler Laurel Snow back into a treacherous case and a twisted personal drama she can’t escape . . . Great book and series! They can definitely be read as standalone! But it’s worth it to read the whole series! This book had great suspense, intriguing, action packed, brutal murder, mystery, fantastic characters, a great who done it and some wild twists and turns! The story was very interesting and had me glued to my kindle! I highly recommend reading this book! Thank you NetGalley, Rebecca Zanetti and the publishers for sharing this book with me! Can’t wait for more!

FAN FREAKING-TASTIC!

You Can Kill, the fourth book in the Laurel Snow series, is nothing short of a thrill ride. Rebecca Zanetti masterfully delivers everything I love about this series — edge-of-your-seat suspense, intricate psychological twists, and characters with so much depth. This was supposed to be the final book, and while there’s a measure of closure, I’m left wanting so much more! Please, Ms. Zanetti, continue the series because there are still so many questions burning in my mind!

Laurel Snow’s latest case takes her into a chillingly personal realm. The murders are as brutal as ever, but the tension escalates as Laurel’s half-sister Abigail, a dangerous and manipulative sociopath, circles closer, convinced she must "protect" Laurel from their father. The emotional stakes are through the roof, with Huck Rivers also drawn into the nightmare, making it even more personal for the duo. The chemistry and partnership between Laurel and Huck keep the story grounded amidst the chaos, and I couldn’t help but root for them.

Zanetti expertly balances a tight plot, deep psychological intrigue, and razor-sharp twists that had me turning pages late into the night. Fans of Kendra Elliot and Melinda Leigh will devour this. If this truly is the end of the series, it’s one that will leave a lasting mark, but I can only hope there’s more to come in Laurel Snow’s dark, dangerous world!

Thanks to Ms. Zanetti, the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review

The fourth book of the Lauren Snow adventures that I absolutely devoured

OK it's hard for me to do this review without spoilers because SO MUCH CRAZY STUFF happens in this book !! Which explains why I read it in one day, which I regret a lot now ><

After the revelation in the last book concerning Lauren and her personal life, I was really impatient to see what it would be like and I must admit that I have a little weakness for the whole relationship between Huck and Lauren which is all sweetness and comfort (even if my heart was seriously broken ><) Their relationship is THE big strong point for me of this book and even of this whole series !

The very twisted plots create an atmosphere full of tension and stress and I loved suspecting everyone (even if I must admit, a little disappointed that a certain particularly annoying ex didn't get killed for good !)

And THIS END ! I didn't expect that and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book !

In short, a suspense romance with twisted plots to devour without moderation! If you like twisted thrillers but also sweet romances, I recommend this whole series !

I will have to admit I went back to the beginning of Rebecca Zanetti Laurel Snow Thriller series. You Can Run is the first in the series and personally I think it would be best if readers at least read the first in the series before reading You Can Kill book 4. Each story building on each other as well as the romance.
I will say the author didn't hold back taking readers into the uncomfortable or even painful conversations. The mystery is pretty easy to figure out if you connect the breadcrumbs the author leaves. The author uses settings, characters stories lines and background to enhance this story bringing it to life keeping readers engaged throughout the story. I even found it difficult to put down.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for advance copy of Rebecca Zanetti You Can Kill.

Danger is everywhere in the new edition to this suspenseful series. She is never afraid to cross those lines.
Laurel and Huck are after another killer but this time it hits close to home. I could barely put this book down it was spectacular. I love the slow progression of there relationship over the course of this series.
With most of her crew gone Laurel is relying on others to help with the multiple cases. Opposition from everywhere comes against them.
The ending was a total shocker and I just can’t wait for the next book by this amazing author. She never disappoints me ever.

When I read the first book in this series, I was instantly hooked and figured this would be one heck of a trilogy. Imagine my surprise when we got to a book four. Imagine my further surprise to learn there will be a book five!

This was a solid installment of the series, though it was my least favorite. That doesn't mean it didn't like it. I DID. But things I like best about the series (Laurel's exchanges with her sister, with Kate, and with Huck) didn't seem as prevalent this time. It could be because the whole point was that Laurel was largely isolated from her group, which made the stakes higher but the emotions a little more distant. I'm all about the relationships in this body of work. This change in dynamics worked well enough for this story, but I wouldn't want to see it continue through the saga.

I have to say, Huck is still my favorite guy, and the Laurel/Abigail relationship is as fascinating as that of Holmes/Moriarty. (I've probably said that before, but I stand by it.) I hope there's more Aeneas and Fred next time, too. And I can't wait to see the trouble Rachel Raprenzi and Tim Kohnex cause. The addition of Tim and the increased interference of Rachel amplifies an already tense situation, and I'm sure they will cause all kinds of complications in the future.

This story ends in a gut-punch followed by a jaw-drop. I can't wait to see the next installment.

This is one of my favorite series. I love the characters who feel like friends by now. This installment feels more emotional to me and I found myself torn. I love the relationship of Laurel and Huck. They both struggle so much in this book and it breaks my heart. Investigating a serial killer or more definitely targets them. I found myself supporting an unlikely character that I've always had mixed feelings about before. I'm so glad to read this book on Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

4.75/5 stars! This is the fourth book in the Laurel Snow series by Rebecca Zanetti. Rebecca really knows how to create a strong crime thriller premise. I have read the rest of this series, so I was really excited to get my hands on this book. I appreciate that the author can catch up new readers to the series while still getting into the action quickly. I love the setting of the story and was surprised multiple times throughout the book. Cannot wait for the next Laurel Snow book.

Getting to read a book from Rebecca Zanetti is a “stop what you are doing and read” kind of day for me. The latest in the Laurel Snow series, You Can Kill, is more than just a romantic suspense story, it’s also a thriller that keeps you guessing right along with Laurel and Huck as to who is the killer (or killers). With the usual suspects and a felon on the loose, there is no clear answer as to who is the serial killer in this one. Everyone is a suspect and with vital clues missing it’s a puzzle that isn’t solved until its dramatic conclusion. We finally got some answers that truly kept me guessing up to the end.

This series is one of those series that each book when it comes out you have to read!!! Laurel and Huck are back!!! Another serial killer is killing women, and Laurel is on the hunt ! This time it's a family affair . Did Laurel's sister or father do the killing, or is someone else on the hunt? This series and book is a must read!!! Love a good thriller then definitely put this on your tbr list!

Another great Rebecca Zanetti book. I love Laurel and Huck. The discovery of a murdered woman left frozen on the bank of the river is the start of a chain of murders. Lots of twists and turns and lots of Laurel’s crazy family. Can she find the murderer before she is his next victim.

Wow. That was one great ride, but be warned there are some serious bumps ahead.
Special Agent Laurel Snow is back in action. This time it’s hitting close to previous cases. Get ready to jump Into another thrilling how done it novel, with romance, murder and a whole lot of mystery.
I loved every moment of this and while it doesn’t end on a cliffhanger, it is certainly open to another book.

Laurel and Huck are back! I was so excited to read this new addition to one of my favorite series. It was fast paced, dark, and exciting with a chilling storyline and extremely likeable (and hateable) characters. The characters are what really make these books in my opinion. They are so well developed and unique that you can't help but be become invested in their stories on a personal level. I also enjoyed the path that Zanetti paved in this book. Some loose ends were finally tied up, which made me happy, and new beginnings are in the making for Laurel and Huck. I was unhappy about one part though. Nothing that would lower my rating, but I refuse to spoil it for anyone. Other than that, I loved every minute of it! It looks like there will be another book, and I will be anxiously looking forward to reading it. I highly recommend this series to all fans of the dark, psycho thriller genre!

Laurel and Huck find themselves surrounded by serial killers (willingly or unwillingly) but at least this time some roosters come to pen, though not all of them. Abigail remains a truly fascinating character, while all the others seem to be put into the plot only to die a short time later.
However, I wouldn't mind if this series came to an end because sometimes I feel like it drags a little.

While Zanetti has a plethora of popular protagonists to select from, Laurel Snow is one of a kind and the latest installment of her story does not disappoint! While Laurel's analytical mind is grappling to make sense of the new emotions and thoughts she finds herself feeling, a murderer is on the loose and secrets from the past are resurfacing in a deadly manner. Despite personal turmoil, Laurel needs to be at the top of her game if she wants to achieve any sort of a future with Huck. With hints of romance, intrigue, and a brilliant mystery, You Can Kill is an entertaining and satisfying read.

This is a suspense novel that will grip you from the first page. All sorts of twists and turns, I wasn’t completely sure where the story was going. The book is part of a series but could easily be read as a stand alone. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Great to have Laurel and Huck back. The team members each bring special unique skills to whatever case they may face. In this one, the tension runs high and the reader is totally engaged.

The fourth book in the Laurel Snow series had our main character in quite the pickle. Chasing a serial killer, fighting off an adjudicated killer and dodging her family of psychopaths this book had a lot going on.

This is the first book I read in this series but the author did a good job of catching up the reader. I never felt lost but I am curious to go back and read the first three books.

Set in the icy PNW the scenery was an added character in this story. Laurel seems outrageously intelligent and quirky which made her easy to cheer for and Huck seems to be a perfect partner for solving mysteries.

Laurel and Huck are back and in great danger. This book was action packed. It held a great deal of drama and suspense. Abigail is as lethal as ever. Secrets are unearthed. There is a very sad occurrence that broke my heart. The writing is wonderful and the characters are richly created. This book was a great weekend of reading.

It all starts with a murdered woman, left on the banks of a river. She is frozen and looks as if she was held under water. Special Agent Laurel Snow of the FBI is one of the lead investigators along with Fish and Wildlife agent Huck Rivers. Laurel believes the killer is a man who escaped from the hospital where he was admitted. Laurel is the one who put him away. Members of her teams family is being targeted and Laurel is being isolated. When a couple more bodies show up and all the evidence is pointing to Huck, Laurel works night and day to find the real killer. But can she before she becomes the next victim?

Oh my goodness! This is one heck of a ride. Mystery✅. Suspense ✅. Sex✅. Secrets ✅. Tragedy ✅. I didn’t want to stop reading. This is the type of story that sucks you in and feels like you are right there with them.
