"Death of an Irish Druid (The Dublin Driver Mysteries #6)" by Catie Murphy is a fairly standalone book. Megan has her American best friend and his wife visiting her in Ireland. Of course she just has to find a dead man at their first tourist stop. Catie also discovers she's more well known for her crime solving than she realized.

So, I totally called it on who the culprit was. I kind of figured it was them because they seemed a bit out of place from the rest of the story. Also, it was a bit of a "what if?" thought train.

This enjoyable series features a fun Irish setting and main character Megan Malone, ex-military and ex-pat. Megan drives a limo which gives her plenty of opportunity to trip over dead bodies. She actually likes investigating and shrugs off the police dislike of her interference.

Her best friends from America have just arrived and they are sight seeing at St Brigid's Well when Megan discovers the body of a local character -- he dresses like an old Druid priest and is infamous as an Anglo-Irish aristocrat who owns a huge estate that he is partially rewilding.

Her Garda buddy is off on vacation and the local constabulary is not as kind to Megan when she starts butting in. The interactions with Megan and her friends is fun. Megan's girlfriend ended their relationship in a previous book due to Megan's propensity for getting involved in murder cases, so Megan has a little something to prove in this one. A very readable series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Ex-pat Megan Malone is excited about showing her American chums around her new home in Ireland, but they've just begun touring when they run into a body -- and it turns out to be a famous and controversial body. Malone is getting a bit famous and controversial herself, and in this adventure she pals up with the heiress to a major estate.

Megan and her friends get a chance to see how the other half lives while learning a bit about Irish legends and customs. It's a lively book with unusual characters and plenty of local color.

Megan Malone, expat American and former military, is now a limousine driver in Dublin, Ireland. She’s become known as the ‘murder driver’ for her unfortunate habit of finding murder victims at various locations while driving her clients. This time, her best friend and his wife are visiting Ireland for the first time and Megan’s taking them to visit St. Brigid’s shrine. While they’re soaking up the atmosphere, Megan’s bad luck streak continues, and she discovers her latest body of a man who fell into St. Bridgid’s well. When she meets his distraught teenaged daughter, Megan’s supportive instincts are heightened and she steps in to help Aisling navigate competing family interests as well as a local Garda officer who’s heard of the ‘murder driver’ and isn’t impressed. Now, to solve the mysteries and save her friend’s visit to Ireland! I enjoy this series, and like other readers, I’m happy the focus is back on the cozy mystery and off of Megan’s breakup with her girlfriend. I recommend visiting Ireland with Megan, any time.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the chance to read this book!

I’m always happy to read a book in this series, although I’ve been absent for the past few. I was excited to receive an eARC to continue my ride along with Megan!

This time she isn’t sure a murder has even occurred, but feels like she needs to be there for her new friend, Aisling. Aisling’s father was the victim, and although we’re missing the personal connection since Megan never actually meets him, we learn more through his relationships about him. Megan uses a mix of her personality and her connections to sort through the suspects and finally resolves the case.

I really did enjoy this one, and Dip and Thong were lovely as always. There were times when I felt like it was two steps backwards all the time in the investigation, and I also felt like this was a bridging book to the next chapter in Megan’s and her friend’s lives, and for that reason I went with four stars.

I received a free copy of, Death of an Irish Druid, by Catie Murphy, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is book six in The Dublin Driver Mysteries series. I love Ireland and its people, they are so nice, and friendly. In this book Megan is happy to show her American friends Ireland, until they happen upon a dead body. Can Megan solve a mystery, and save her friends vacation to Ireland> This is a really good cozy mystery, in one of the best locations in the world.

Another good book on the series. Hard to put this one down. Glad the girlfriend side story was not stressed too much, as I prefer the cozy mystery instead. Would recommend this book and author.

This is one of my favorite cozy series, and this book is definitely a fun read. I'm so glad the pathos has shifted (mostly) away from the tiresome drama of Megan's partner and their breakup. That's the only thing about this series I was so dang tired of. I'm a lot more entangled in and sympathetic to other situations and characters in the book, like Ais and her relationship with her horrifying mom. It's a well-plotted mystery, and Megan is funny and smart. I so enjoy spending time with her and her friends. Looking forward to the next one!

Not an unbiased review as I have had a great time reading each in the series as they come along.
Megan has gone from military to limousine driver to Murder Driver (has the habit of finding murder victims under odd circumstances)) to being a fixer for those she believes need her skills.
What started off as a vacation with childhood married friends from the states took a dramatic turn the very first morning when she finds the drowned body of a locally famous man. Already she is on the hunt to decide accident or murder when she meets the distraught daughter, a greedy pair of relatives and worse. Now she is sure it's murder. But which motive and how did they go unnoticed? It's fun following along in Megan's wake with her Jack Russell Terriers as they encounter a slew of red herrings and some really amazing plot twists. Loved it!
I requested and received a temporary ebook from Kensington Books via NetGalley. Thank you!

#DeathofanIrishDruid #NetGalley is another exciting adventure in the life of limousine driver Megan Malone.
Living in Ireland certainly has its charm, but when Megan becomes known as the murder driver because she has the tendency to discover dead bodies, can take a toll on a person.
Megan's reputation has cost her a relationship, but she's ready to enjoy a two week vacation with childhood friend Rafael, and his wife Sarah.
Things don't go as planned, and just hours into their visit, Megan finds a body, and before long, they are all involved in the investigation.

This book is good, I liked the way Megan handled herself and her friends were really supportive during the investigation.
There were a few laugh out loud moments that I enjoyed and I'm happy to recommend this book to others.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for selecting me to read an advanced copy of this book.
