The description and title of ANTICIPATION is what immediately drew me into this book. I was expecting thrills and mystery. And, yes, this title offered that, but I feel like it took forever to do so. Prologue: thrilling; Chapter 1: long and boring and drawn out; Chapter 2 and 3: not as long still boring; it did pick up from there, but not as fast-paced and action forward as I would have wanted.
Honestly, I didn't want to finish reading this. This book ended up not being for me. It started to feel like a chore and all I wanted to do as skip to the predictable ending.

I thought Riya was a believable heroine, and I loved the AI aspect of the novel. I think this will appeal to a YA audience that enjoys mystery, technology, and adventure. I will definitely be adding it to my library.

Fast paced, well written and a keep you on the edge of your seat kind of read. I definitely believed I’d like this but I was IMMERSED in this story and could not stop reading.

I really enjoyed how the story brought up real world and life topics and issues surrounding social media and AI.

Worth the read and so so good!
