Thank you NetGalley and Brilliance Publishing for the ARC of this audiobook for my honest review

This suprised me it was so good. Usually I have to love the characters for the book to be good, but this one I didn’t get too attached. I liked them a bit but only as much as I’d care for a stranger. But the actual plot was soooo interesting, I loved the countries we got to explore and all of the fun tracking. It was so suspenseful and I was so curious how it would be done. Really good job, I’m going to read this again 100%

I'll be publishing my review on Goodreads and StoryGraph 25th November and on Tik tok most likely will add to a monthly wrap up post with review the beginning of December.

Thank you to NetGally for letting me get a sneak peak into this book. I got to listen to the audiobook.

Overall I would give this book a rating of 4.5 starts. I had to restart it twice because it was hard for me to get into but one I got into I could not put it down.

Reznick is a former military working in secret oops and secret intelligence o believe. He is later approached to help in a top secret mission, he ends up inviting two of his buddies who are extremely knowledgeable in their area of expertise. When facing new challenges to bring down a top former officer working with the Russians in giving top secret information, he is now seen as a traitor and must die.

Overall this is a really good book!

I just love a good "spy thriller" and this is a good one. I love the way Reznick never meets a challenge he doesn't overcome. His bulldog your way through the problem attitude keeps the story interesting and pages turning. The story premise is unique & well thought out. Looking forward to the next one.

Hard Duty (Jon Reznick #13) by J. B. Turner
Narrated by Jeffrey Kafer

Genre: General Fiction (Adult), Mystery & Thrillers

Hard Duty is the 13th book in the Jon Reznick series by J. B. Turner. I haven’t read the previous books yet, and I was able to enjoy this as standalone mystery.

I thought this was fascinating!!!! This was fast paced and had me on the edge of my seat. I was completely caught up in this book and couldn’t wait to see how it resolved. (And I feel like there’s still more to come!)

I will be diving in to the previous books really soon. Thanks to Kindle Unlimited I’ll be able to binge the whole series!

I really enjoyed the narration by Jeffrey Kafer. I thought he did a great job bringing this book to life!

I highly recommend reading Hard Duty!!! I can’ t wait for the next book!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Hard Duty by JB Turner is a hard hitting, non-stop roller coaster ride in the next installment of the John Reznick series. From Florida, to Africa, and the Middle East, Reznick and his friend Mac will stop at nothing to fulfill their objective; stopping a dangerous man from selling out to the highest bidder.

Jeffrey Kafer provides the narration for Hard Duty and does not disappoint! I listen to a jaw-dropping amount of audiobooks, but I had never heard of Mr Kafer before this book, but now I will be on the hunt for other books he has narrated. He’s very well versed in the different accents needed for this telling and made each character come to life, including the female character. He showed how truly talented he is in his field and that he sat down, took a breath, and never let up on the gas. Whoever picked him to narrate this book blew it out of the park.

Perfect for those who like Mark Greaney or Vince Flynn.

Thank you to @netgalley and @brillianceaudio for the opportunity to read this book in lieu of my honest review.

This is the first in the Jon Reznick series I’ve read. While I’m sure I would have known more backstory having read the others it didn’t impact my enjoyment of the book.

This was an action packed story about former black ops specialist Jon Reznick getting pulled in for an off the books mission to kill a former US intelligence offer who’s selling classified secrets. The story takes you from the US to Africa & the Middle East and I enjoyed every minute.

I look forward to reading more by J.B. Turner. He’s earned a new fan in me. I must mention the excellent narration by Jeffrey Kafer.

Thank you to NetGalley & Brilliance Audio for letting me read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
