A great book for young readers with an interest in Medieval England. I also enjoyed this book as an adult with an interest in historical fiction and the Tudors era. This book keeps the story unfolding all the way through its epilogue, with relevant historical nods.

5 stars from me for keeping me entertained all the way through. What an adventure!
I'm claiming Jack as my favorite character. Simply because he's a smart boy and knows what he wants.
He's also brave and endures a lot. That's why I call this book an adventure.
There's places with twists and turns that I didn't see coming. That's what makes this a fun read too.
I highly recommend.
