As soon as I saw this I knew I had to give it a look - I love baking and I love Christmas - perfect! This book is really well laid out, the instructions aren’t overly complicated, and there are a number of recipes I’ve not heard of before, as well as your standard Christmas desserts. I love that their are a variety of recipes from different cultures - I can’t wait to give some a go as we had into the festive season

I absolutely love Christmas and love that I got a chance to look at the recipes. It had some truly great recipes that I can’t wait to try out. Some of the recipe were the standard cookie that are seen during the holiday season and some were new that I have not seen before.

I love a good festive baking book and this was just that! Not only does it have simple recipes that are quick and easy enough to make the night before and event, it also has recipes that are more detailed and need more attention. I love a variety!

Simple, elegant, classic. All of these are words that were running through my mind as I flipped through the pages. What I love is that there is not a lot of fanfare. The focus in on the recipe and the picture. The recipes are clear and simple to follow. The pictures are beautifully displayed to truly showcase the treat being shown. I also really liked the recipes for treats from all over the world. There really is something for everyone in these pages: cookies, bars, cakes, breads, breakfast treats, pastries, pies and tarts, custards, and other decadent confections. How to make dough, sauces, creams, icing and the like is covered as well. This is a great reference when you need inspiration and recipes for just about every mood, situation, and taste preference.

I love this book! There are so many different recipes and they sound great, I can't wait to try them! I liked that there are both well known recipes and also some more unique recipes to try out. I like the layout and the recipes are easy to follow, the aesthetic and pictures are lovely too

I LOVE this Christmas themed cookbook! This is the perfect book for anyone who wants to impress their loved ones this holiday season. I can't wait to try these recipes and share delicious homemade treats with my family. I'm going to be sure to try the homemade brownies, red velvet crinkle cookies, and chocolate a red velvet cupcakes, among other recipes.

I love baking and I love Christmas so this book was right up my alley. There was a nice variety of well-known recipes and new or more unique recipes. The instructions were written clearly and were easy to understand. I liked that the ingredients were easy to find. It would have been nice to have a bit of background on the recipes especially some of the more unique recipes. I thought the photos were beautiful and helped show the recipes in good detail. Overall, I thought this was a fun and festive book.

Lots of wonderful cookies, cakes, pastry and bread receipes. Things I have neverheard of and things I can't wait to make. This book will get your into the Christmas season so quickly!

The beautiful cover captivated me. As my daughters get older I am looking forward to more Holiday traditions with them. Christmas baking is a big one. These recipes are easy to follow and I can’t wait to try them out. The photos are breathtakingly beautiful and make me want to try every single recipe. The appendix addition makes it easy to convert meadurements and whip up some homemade frostings and other additions. I can’t wait to put Christmas music on and bake with my daughters. I have a family Apple crumb pie recipe and now going to add some of these to pass down, especially the snowman cookies, peppermint bars, and some of the many gingerbread recipes. I will definitely be looking for a physical copy to start my Holiday cookbook collection.

Ah, this book oozes warmth and flavour.
The photos are amazing, the recipes accessible and easy-to-follow, though I would love the print copy more than the ebook because of the layout of the ingredients. It is important to see them in a larger font for an easier, user-friendly read. Otherwise, all perfect.

Beautiful, elegant holiday cookbook. Gorgeous color slides of most recipes. Has a nice blend of easy everyday recipes and more aspirational selections. I’ll be trying several recipes this holiday season!

Love everything about this book! The photos are well done that it makes you want to bake everything. The instructions are easy to follow and even better that it is all about Christmas. Highly recommend.

This cookbook had me wanting to pull out my Holiday cookware, I think I'm going to have to do some Christmas baking in September!

I thought that they did a great job with the layout, wide range of recipes and photos of all the baked goods. I would definitely recommend adding this cookbook to your collection!

What a wonderful cookbook to have on hand during the holidays or to give as a gift. Clear, well written instructions and beautiful photos of each treat. There is a wide variety of foods to make - from cookies to pastries to candy. Each chapter is a different catagory of treats. Though some recipes have many steps, none of the recipes seem too difficult, and can be done by a beginner baker (in part due to the simplicity of the written instructions). Handy measurement conversions are included in the back. The recipes seem to come from around the world and I would have loved for each recipe to give a sentence or two about where it originated from (my personal preference). Would recommend to add to your cookbook collection.

A cookbook that compiles tons of holiday favorites! The first few categories - cookies and cakes, especially, and a little bread - there was not a ton new, which was fine, just noting. Once it got into other categories though there were some interesting sounding recipes that I have never tried before! The directions seemed easy to follow. I do wish every recipe had a picture. There was also once or twice that there was a picture and it didn't match the recipe that followed or was before it, but maybe that was just a formatting thing on my kindle!

This book is perfect for getting you into the mood to bake each holiday season. It is beautifully illustrated with photos, many in a Christmasy setting. There are recipes from various nations and variations that you might not have come across before. For example, I've loved Florentine cookies before, but I don't think I've ever come across a cookie that has almonds, candied citrus peels and dried cherries (or plums) in the recipe. Or Chocolate, Peanut Butter & Raspberry Curls? So many good choices!!

There's more than just cookies, too. Brownies, muffins, breads, buns, cakes, pastries, pies... And a few options for Gluten-Free and Vegan. I've never heard of many of the choices from other nations. I feel like being adventurous. My only suggestion for improvement would be to describe where many of the recipes originated - something like "this recipe is based on a favorite from Spain."

The recipes are not too complicated and the instructions are clear.

I love baking cookbooks and this one is welcome on my cookbook shelf.
