Unfortunately I was so hyped for this one waiting untill bloom got the rights to publish it and I was let down tremendously. I typically love anything bloom publishes or dark romance but this was a whole new level of dark. Not even dark romance, just dark. Unfortunately we see a lot of romanticized SA here without the CNC aspect or where you can tell there is some consent which dropped my rating very low, aswell as the virgin fetish.
Thank you to the author and bloom for this arc, I was so sad to find out it wasent for me.
Thank you Rina Kent and NetGalley for this ARC. What a read, was not expecting this at all! I went into this book blind and I am glad I did. This was a dark romance that was unlike any other I have read before. There was more to this book then just romance though, it was thought provoking in my eyes. Killian and Glyndon both deal with some deep rooted issues that can be relatable in some form. We are only human after all and as such everyone is capable of being a "monster" or having a "dark side". Overcoming these struggles is definitely something people can relate to. Killian is a bad boy to the extreme with a big heart in the end and him and Glyndon are good for one another. I recommend this read for those who like the darker side of dark romance.
WOW. I’m usually not a dark romance fan, but this book had me hooked. The plot of the story was the pivotal driving force that kept me on the page for hours on end. Every time I flipped to another chapter it felt like a twist after twist. Not to mention the suspense, which had me on the edge of my seat. The romance though? I couldn’t really get behind it. Did I find the main characters interesting? Yes. But I wasn’t entirely behind their chemistry, given how they met and ended up together. Otherwise, I could not put down this book. If you are a dark romance lover, then I would highly recommend this be your next read!
I actually really like this new edition! I like that the cnc is more obviously consensual than it was prior! The overall story is very good and the characters are lovable and clearly all grey characters minus the fmc. The mmc was delectable!!
God of Malice by Rina Kent is a dark, intense romance that dives deep into the world of power, obsession, and revenge. The story centers around a troubled and enigmatic antihero, whose twisted desire for control and vengeance leads him into a volatile relationship with a woman who challenges everything he believes. Kent’s writing is provocative and gripping, with an emotionally charged atmosphere that keeps readers hooked. The dynamic between the characters is complex, filled with tension, manipulation, and unexpected moments of vulnerability. While the themes of dominance and power may not be for everyone, God of Malice is a compelling read for fans of dark romance with a psychological edge.

This book was so engrossing, if I didn't have to work I probably would have finished it in 1 sit down read.
The imagery and way that Glyn & Kill describe emotions and dark moment was very poetic and that was not something I thought I would get in this book. It was strangely hypnotic to read.
I've read the My Monster series by Rina Kent and enjoyed it but I doubted I wanted to start her book universe, this... this has me reevaluating it!
I will note: I FULLY ignore and act like Chapter 1 & 2 did NOT exist/happen. I read a bit of dark romance and moments like that are never enjoyable for me and they usually make me DNF the book but I had heard a lot of good things, so continued it. Hence why I finished and rated it highly. This is solely because I ignore those chapters.
Rina Kent is by far my favorite dark romance author so I was thrilled by the opportunity of arc reading one of her books. While I already read some of the Legacy of Gods books and enjoyed them, i had not read this one yet. Overall I did really enjoy it. I love Glyn and Killian. Killian is dark and psychotic but it’s a dark romance so as long as you can deal with that you’ll love him too. While he can be pushy you can tell it’s just because he’s enthralled by Glyn. But let me reiterate this book starts off dark right from the beginning so make sure to read the trigger warnings.
Love a good dark romance and this was DARK! I had to really buckle down in the beginning and remember I was reading a DARK romance. Once I did though, it was a fun read!
God of Malice is the first book in the Legacy of Gods series written by Rina Kent.
I am late to game with Rina Kent, and was worried about jumping in after reading through some of the reviews for this book. However, after reading God of Fury, and absolutely falling in love with Niko and Brandon, I thought I would give the series a shot.
I love a well written, well adjusted psychopath!! Killian was everything you could want from a dark romance MMC. I was glad that Glyndon didn’t give in to him immediately, she made him work for her love.
Glyndon was sweet, a little naive at certain times, but I was glad that she was able to get her man in the end. I was worried there for a little while that he truly was the bad guy. Killian truly loves her and made sure that everyone knows that would do anything for her!
Some OM/OW drama, but not in the form of cheating. Tiny bit of a separation towards the end but Killian doesn’t allow her to escape him for long before he gets woman back.
Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this little!

Ok, this is a dark read,, filled with two of the shadiest sort of characters.
Killian is a psycho. A well dressed, cold blooded, psycho. Who is fixated on Glyndon.
Glyndon knows that he's a psycho, but she's drawn to him like a moth to a flame and gets off on his attention.
Recommend.
This book was absolutely insane. It was so good. I had an absolute blast reading it. It is a dark romance book and typically I am not one for dark romances but the plot and the cover caught me so I decided to try it out and I am so happy I did. This was a great read and a good show of the genre.
Absolutely obsessed with this series. It's got dark romance, unhinged characters, and will gripe you until the very end and have you begging for the next book. I have been a long time Rina Kent fan and am so happy these book are getting a deluxe edition and being picked up by a traditionally published company. It's such a fun captivating read and it's perfect for fans of dark consuming romances!
