Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this arc!

This was a good book. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it because it did start off a bit slow but I am glad I stuck to it.

ARC Review:

⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

North and Gia grew up as next door neighbors. While both secretly had feelings for one another, they never acted upon them. After reconnecting as adults they are given a second chance. Will they finally find the courage to share their true feelings, or will they chicken out once more?

If you are in the mood for a sweet, second chance romance set in a small town, then look no further than J.P. Sterling’s latest release.

No More Mr. Chai Guy was the perfect read to kick start the fall season. Being a novella, I easily consumed it in one setting. It gave me all of the feels while remaining clean.

Recommendations for consuming:

1.) Pick up your favorite beverage- preferably from a local coffee shop.

2.) Change into your most comfortable, cozy clothes.

3.) Grab a blanket and/ or stuffed animal- bonus points if it is an axolotl.

4.) Curl up in your favorite reading spot.

Special thanks to Netgalley, Victoria Editing, and J.P. Sterling for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

This book was another great start to the new coffee loft series, and I of course, adored that it has axolotl’s in it. This is a classic brother's best friend trope and second chance story.

North is an adorably shy football player who just wants to ask out the cheerleader Gia, who is also his best friend's sister. They’ve both loved each other since they were kids, except no one knows, except Mr. Bella.
North accidentally hurts Gia during a football game, but gives her a stuffed axolotl Rosie to make it better. Just when North is going to ask her out….he gets interrupted and nothing comes from it. Rocco is an awful brother and is constantly coming between North and Gia. He’s got the whole “stay away or else” vibe going on.

North and Gia reconnect years later, when some serious hoarding and fly paper causes problems for Mr. Bella. As Noah and Gia finally admit to their feelings, someone is trying to keep them apart. Will they have their happily ever after?

This is a clean read with no language.

Thank you to NetGalley and J.P. Sterling for giving me an advanced copy to read and review.

They liked each other in high school but never voiced it. Now, years later a hoarding accident brings them back into contact. What kept them apart back then? When things start falling apart will they stick together or give up?.

I received a copy of this book from the author. Review voluntarily given.

Mama Mia being the first words out your mouth when you finally kiss was just too much for me; however, the overall story was enjoyable. For the length of the book, it did flow well. I enjoyed the second chance romance aspect!

I am so happy to have gotten this ARC!! Thank you Netgalley and J.P. Sterling! It was such a quick and fun read! I wish it was longer so that we could see a deeper development because I loved all the characters and I am so curious to know more about their lives! But I love the fall vibes and coffee shop moments! Definitely such a cute read for the autumn season!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ARC Review

Yay, the Fall Collection of The Coffee Loft series is almost here!! This is the first release in the series. Every Wednesday a new book drops. My favorite book of the Winter collection was Pardon My French Press by J.P. Sterling and I have a feeling this one will be my favorite too! I had a great time reading about North and Gia who grew up together and the timing never was right. The books flashes back and forth from the past and present. I really enjoyed the football vibes, I love a good romance with some sports intertwined.

I love Sterling’s style of writing. It hooks me right away and keeps me happy and entertained throughout the book. This one even had me intrigued and busting out my detective skills. I always walk away better after reading one of Sterling’s books. This one can best be described as all the sugar and none of the spice.

I loved the tribute to “Your Last First Date” from Portia in the earlier books. It was fun to see some characters make a cameo in this new book!

Oh the puns…
“Chai guy, how are you?”
“I’m still brewing.”
And I look forward to more puns in the rest of the series.

Thank you to the author J.P. Sterling and NetGalley for the advanced electronic copy of the book!
