If there is one thing Lisina is great at writing, it is age gap romances and characters who have grown up with struggles.
This was a great end to the Brightest Light series, with a grown up Lila and her supervisor/professor/parents friend.
Reed and Lila's story was so beautiful and emotional.

Literally finished this in one sitting. This was such a bittersweet ending to the series and very happy that all three generation girlies got a happy ending.

I’ve been waiting ages for this one! I signed up so freaking fast when it appeared on NetGalley. And Lisina did not disappoint! I am legit OBSESSED with Lila and Reed. I could not put it down 🥰

This is the third in the Brightest Light series and follows Lila (the daughter of Cal and Grace from book 1) and Reed, her internship supervisor and family friend. As with all the books in this series, there is an age gap. In this one, I truly felt the struggle Lila had with the age gap and the ramifications that could come out of a relationship.

The absolute emotion in this one, not only between Lila and Reed but with Lila struggling with her self worth and who she is as a person had me turning the pages so fast. I was so invested in her journey throughout the book. Reed was honestly such a babe in this one. He also had his own journey to go on through the pages stemming from his traumatic childhood. They were SO GOOD for each other.

I have a hard time putting into words how this book made me feel. I just love, love, loved it. It made me FEEL. That’s about all I can say about it. I’m sad to see the end of the series but it just makes me want to go back and start over again. I loved all the scene with Cal, Grace, Maddie and James. Such a perfect ending.

This was such a good end to this series. The Brightest Light of Sunshine easily became one of my favorite comfort books when I read it a year and a half ago. This one is like a giant hug to the series. I loved seeing Cal and Grace as parents and Maddie as a big sister. This book deals with a lot of deep topics isn’t as heavy as the first two. That being said I saw so much of myself in Lila. Anxious overthinking people pleasers unite!!! Reed and Lila’s love story is such a realistic story. The perfect slow burn that has you keep turning the pages. So sad that this series is over but I can’t wait to see what comes next from Lisina.

Ugh I just love this series so much! It’s so fun to revisit the former couples through their family ties to the current ones. Lisina has an amazing way of writing and I love that she does so many age gap romances

the perfect ending to this series. i am going to miss cal, grace, maddie, james, lila and reed so much!!!! this book was absolutely perfect, the mental health side and finding yourself touched on my heart so deeply. i genuinely felt so emotional saying goodbye.

I loved Lila and Reed’s story and this it was the perfect way to wrap up this trilogy. Being able to read Lila as an adult was so bittersweet. Seeing how she grew from a rambunctious kid asking James if had games on his phone, to such an amazing young woman was just so satisfying. I loved watching these two dance around their attraction for each other, the slow burn was so good! The mental health rep was immaculate, and Lisina truly did justice to not only the competitiveness of academia and imposter syndrome but also to how it continues even after you’ve graduated and established your career. Lila and Reed’s experience in both really strengthened their bond in my opinion. It was too sweet reading these two fall for each other and heal the wounds others couldn’t see. ❤️

Oh my GOSH. It has been a long, long time since I stayed up until 3am reading a book. This book has been a masterpiece. I cried, I laughed, I swooned over Reed and Lila. This was the perfect way to end this beautiful series I’ve come to love so much. The writing, the buildup, and the perfect plot twist to make me not put it down was so so so good. Reed and Lila will continue to live rent free in my mind for months to come.

Right up my alley regarding books I enjoy! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. I need to read the books that have come before this one in the series. I enjoyed Coney's writing and her characters a lot. Well done!

The 'Deepest End of Love' was a lovely end to Lisina Coney's The Brightest Light Series.

This book was an emotional journey, showing in-depth stories of self-healing through its two main characters Lila and Reed. Their romance felt very natural and well thought out, I loved how the book focused more on their careers and personal growth than their physical relationship, this was very refreshing to read. Having her past characters Cal, Grace, Maddie, and James in the book felt seamless and not overbearing as this type of writing can sometimes feel. I loved the moments between Lila and her parents, these were such a full circle moment from the earlier books, Lisina stayed true to her characters from the other books and wrote them very true to how they were originally written whilst showing how they have aged and grown as parents.

You can see how much Lisina's writing has improved since her first novel which was great to read and experience. I will definitely be looking out for more of her work to read in the future,

I feel like every professor-student-forbidden type of reads I had read all happened this way and they got caught, so I was holding my breath to just when. and the trip of it all is I actually kinda torn to believe if it was the ex or the friend, and I am glad, both me and the FMC thought the same thing first and was rewarded with the second option too. What I liked here is the break they got, him to get to realize what he wants and her to discover herself. <3

*The Deepest End of Love* was everything I had hoped for and more! As the third book in *The Brightest Light* series, it tells the story of Lila, Cal and Grace's daughter, and her relationship with Reed, her supervisor during her internship at a youth center. Lila is working on her master's to become a youth counselor, and while she initially tries to avoid Reed due to his connection with her mom, she gradually grows more comfortable with him and the work she's doing. Their relationship slowly deepens as Lila helps Reed confront his dark past and trauma, ultimately leading to a beautiful and heartwarming ending.

I absolutely loved Reed’s character—he’s kind, gentle, and truly dedicated to the kids he works with, but his emotional struggles really add depth to the story. Watching Lila support him while also overcoming her own fears made their bond feel even stronger. They were truly soulmates, helping each other heal in such a meaningful way. This book, by far, became my favorite in the trilogy. It was bittersweet to finish, knowing the series has come to an end, but I’m so excited to see what Lisina Coney writes next!

This was so good and t's my favorite in the series. I loved the characters, plot, slow burn, and the realistic journey of the characters. Lila is Cal from the first book's daughter and this is her romance and story of her becoming. Reed the mmc is a professor in her school/department where she is getting her master's degree and is also her mom's friend and frequent collaborator.

I loved watching the romance grow between Reed and Lila, especially the push and pull between them. This was a good slow burn Lila is reluctant to work with Reed at the youth center because of what people would say. I liked that even with the tension between them nothing happened till the end of the internship. The steamy moments weren't too much but it was good. I loved the family moments and the internship drama as well. Overall this was really good, I loved the back story and youth worker strory. Thank you to the publisher for this arc!

it’s beautiful. i had my qualms with it a bit in the beginning (the thoughts lila had about reed and avoiding him/accepting the internship seemed a BIT excessive), but i got over it. there are some truly PERFECT moments in this book. an excellent trilogy!

I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW LONG I WAITED TO READ THIS BOOK, and it did not disappoint. The deepest end of love is the third book in the series, and it’s about Lila, Cals and Graces daughter and Reed who is her supervisor during her internship.
Lila is working on her masters to become a youth counselor and she ends up doing an internship in a youth center in which Reed is working as well. She has always tried to avoid Reed because she always felt intimidated by him and since he works with her mom she never wanted people to think she’s getting into places because of her connections. Lila ends up working at the youth center with Reed and things slowly start to change between them. She’s happy with the job she’s doing, she’s helping kids and she’s becoming more comfortable with Reed. However, beautiful things don’t last too long and everything comes crashing down for Lila, but she does get her happy ending.

I absolutely love Reed and how smart he is, how he takes care of the kids where he works and also how he supports Lila throughout her internship. However, his dark past makes him drown into himself and has a lot of trauma which still taunt him to present day. Lila really helps him out to fight his demons and finally realize his worth. I loved how they both were supporting each other throughout their traumas. They were meant to be; they were soulmates.

SO GOOD!!! LOVE everything Lisina writes these characters are everything to me. I couldn’t put this down I don’t know what she puts in her books but they’re addictive. I Love Lyla and Reed so much. Loved the story of developing self confidence, healing from trauma and finding yourself. This is an incredible last book to one of my favourite series. These characters will forever be in my heart.

I might be the biggest Lisina Coney fan to walk this planet. This series means so much to me, and it pains me that this is the last book. If I could give this 100 stars I would. I love a good age gap, but I love a good slow burn even more. Miss Coney is the queen of slow burns, and this book is just another shred of proof. Reed and Lila are two people that struggle with confidence and feeling like they are enough, but they find each other and grow together. I was giggling and kicking my feet for 90% of this book. I don't often lose sleep over books unless they are really good, and I chose to forgo my 8 hours of sleep for a 2am bedtime to finish this one. Immaculate, beautiful, heartwarming, and perfect in seriously every way. I love the way these characters love each other and this will be going on my reread list immediately (for context I have 7 books on this list for all time so do with that what you will). I'll miss these characters so much but I love how their stories end. Read this book - seriously.

omg I loved this book!! This whole series has been amazing to read and worth the wait!! I loved the slow burn aspect to this, they had fallen in love before they were even together and it was beautiful to read. It was also amazing to see where the couples in the previous books were at in their lives as well. The progression in this series is unmatched and I loved every second of it. If you are even contemplating reading this book, take it from me, just do it!! you won’t regret it xx

just wow. i have no words. lisina take such care and effort into writing her books, you can literally just feel how much she loves what she’s doing.

the way she writes about mental health struggles, as well as foster care struggles, shows that she took the time to research and properly implement them into her books. and that’s something i applaud her for. proper representation is important in books and it’s clear she does it well, and with care.

reed and lila’s love story is one that will stick with me forever, and it will always be a book i recommend to anyone who asks about it. i related to both of them in so many different aspects and it just pulled me into the story even more.

please give this book a chance, as well as the other books in this serious. you will not regret it.
