Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for the advanced copy of this second chance romance, deep, and heartwarming book.
The book centers on the timing of falling in love, fate, and bravely living your life, even when you're unsure of the future. Lead character Elliott is a recent cancer survivor after a bone marrow transplant a year before. She finally meets her donar and discovers she is now dating the man named Jamie, who Elliott met and instantly found a romantic connection with before her procedure but didn't leave her information with. Both are put in an impossible situation and need to decide if finally finding the right person at the wrong time is worth hurting someone important to them.
The book was more serious than light, obviously because of the subject matter, but it still had sweet and romantic moments. The dog Hank was adorable. I enjoyed that the book was a love triangle, but all of the characters were kind. It added a lot of depth.
The book represents the complexity of cancer and health issues, especially with younger adults. I loved Elliott's character and how brave she was to start over in a new city after overcoming something so difficult. Jamie was a sweet character and had layers with his struggle on when and how to do the right thing, especially when it's hard.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It was thoughtful and endearing. I highly recommend it!.

I really enjoyed this book so so much! I had high hopes and expectations after my friend read/loved it and I wasn’t disappointed.

Synopsis: Elliott is on deck for a stem cell transplant and not knowing how the serious operation might turn out, decides to live it up the night before. What she didn’t expect was to cross paths with what could be her soulmate. Elliott and Jamie go their separate ways only for fate to step in a year later bringing them back together. Only this time when Elliott meets Jamie it’s as the boyfriend of her stem cell donor.

I binged this in nearly one day and really loved it so much. The characters jumped off the page and their chemistry was written so well. Sweet Hank (the dog) was such a lovable addition to the book too!! My onlyyyy wish is for there to have been a little more angst but this book was nearly perfect!

Dual POV and a fun meet cute led to a really heartfelt romance chock full of emotion.

Ashley is well versed in nursing and different departments of medicine and I always appreciate her honesty and when writing about these sensitive subjects.

Auto buy author always.

A love story about taking a chance on fate. It's sweetly poignant and touching while I was feeling emotional. The C word always automatically makes me think the worst. It's about living your life to the fullest because you never really know when tomorrow won't come.

Ooey gooey perfection 🫠

Ashley has such a gift in her writing that makes her characters completely and perfectly meant for each other. Elliot and Jamie are kicking your feet under the blankets adorable and I will protect them at all costs ✨️ The banter and laughs are top tier, as always, especially with some pretty awesome side characters, but still keep a pack of tissues near by 😘

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book.

Everyone! Read this book!
What a phenomenal story. Great characters, great friendships, great love story. Great dog! Gotta love Hank. Cliche to say you'll laugh, you'll cry....but it's true. I couldn't read this fast enough. I wish we'd had more of Elliott's (pretty much perfect) parents. The part where Jamie meets them was so fun and so funny. Can't recommend this highly enough, worth more than 5 stars. Ms. Ashley, you've outdone yourself.

This book is so heartfelt. Truly feel all the emotions reading this one. It’s super bingeable. The love triangle was done without any cheating and in such a good way 👏. Elliott & Jamie are great characters. I loved the descriptions of Omaha too - the old town was described perfectly and it was like I was back visiting there! Thank you NetGalley for eARC!

This was the cutest love story I have read in a long time! I instantly knew by page one that it was going to be a five star rating. Allison Ashley does an amazing job writing the characters in a way that will be relatable to so many readers. I could not stop reading as I was wondering when and if the two main characters would ever get together or if there would be something that would pull them apart. It is a shorter read, but the story is not rushed at all. You can feel all the emotions the characters are feeling through the pages and just makes you want to give them all a giant hug. I would highly recommend adding this to your TBR list today!

Allison Ashley has built a very successful career out of romances featuring a character with a chronic medical condition. In this case, Elliott has leukemia and needs a stem cell transplant. The night before the procedure, she goes out for a drink and meets Jamie. Although the two share a perfect evening, she knows she can't start a relationship just as she's recovering from a major medical procedure. So she leaves.

Fast forward a year, a now-healthy Elliott moves to the big city. She and her anonymous stem cell donor find each other and agree to meet up. But guess who the selfless Carly is dating. That's right, it's Jamie, the man Elliott has been thinking about for the past year. And he seems like he's been thinking about her, too.

There's no big villain here, just basically decent people trying to do the right thing and still be happy. It's a serious book but there are sweet moments, too, like Jamie's dog who absolutely adores Elliott.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for the ARC to review. All opinions are my own.

Allison Ashley has so quickly become a comfort author for me. I will read anything she writes, I will love it, and I will probably cry. One of the best aspects of her writing is how real her characters are. They feel like your friends, like actual well rounded people. I was of course fully rooting for Elliot and Jamie to get together but the story is written in a way that shows that they’re not perfect people. They’re perfect for each other, but their road to finding each other was full of mistakes and effort. And I loved them even more for it. I want to be Elliot. Jamie is perfect. And Hank is everythinggggg.

Allison Ashley always has real struggles in her books, so I highly recommend looking into it if there’s something you would struggle reading. In this case the FMC is in remission for leukemia after receiving a bone marrow transplant and the anxieties that come from worrying about the cancer coming back were beautifully handled. The MMC struggled with seeing the qualities of his distant father in himself and showed how he was working through those feelings of self doubt. But the author always handles these real life problems so well.

Thank you to the author and Netgalley for sending me this advanced copy in exchange for my thoughts!

Really loved this book and thought it tackled tough topics in a really excellent way. The MMC and FMC seemed to have great chemistry.

Rating: 4.5/5

I absolutely love Allison Ashley’s books and have been looking forward to this one. It did not disappoint!

The beginning meet cute was so well done and there was instant chemistry between Elliott and Jamie. The romance is full of tension and longing and second chances. I loved both of these characters and the challenges they faced.

This story was funny and serious and heartfelt. I felt the range of emotions and just never wanted to put it down. Another win in my book!

Content: fade to black, some strong language

Thanks to Montlake and Allison Ashley for the gifted copy of this book!

This is by far Allison's best book yet, and I've loved them all! This one just hit different. The first kiss is probably the best first kiss scene I've ever read in a book. The little twists, the angsty love triangle, the friend group, the anxiety of having leukemia that might come back, the SWEET LIL DOG... it was just perfect. You won't want to miss Jamie and Elliott. They are sweet as all get-out.

Allison Ashley is an immensely talented writer & her readers can not help but get sucked into her fantastic romance stories. If Tomorrow Never Comes is one of those amazing stories. How one night with one special person can have such an impact on your life. However, imagine if you met that person again, but they're now dating the individual who saved your life. That's Elliott & Jamie's story, with a bit more drama, some passion, & a whole lot of romantic swoon along the way.
Thank you, #NetGalley, as I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own, but do yourself a favor & read this story or any story written by the talented Allison Ashley.

“I think I love you more than books.” “You think?” “I do. I definitely do.” “That’s a lot of love.”

Honestly, it has taken me way too long to get around to writing a review for this book. I think I needed to sit with this one for a little bit because of how freaking perfect it was.

This book is the epitome of SOULMATES. This book had me in tears and kicking my feet with how much I adored this story. When a book is written with so much love and depth you can FEEL IT and you just want to be able to actually know these characters in real life. I will never stop applauding Allison Ashley for the masterful way she incorporates heavy topics into a romance. On top of that, she is easily one of the best closed door romance writers on the market with the way she makes the physical attraction and tension known without the inclusion of any explicit details.

This is one the best romances I’ve read this year and Allison Ashley is 100% of my new favorite authors.

I have a new favorite Allison Ashley book, and it’s this one!

Short Synopsis:
On Elliot’s last night before an aggressive cancer treatment begins, Elliot decides to go out and enjoy herself while she can. She ends up at a bar sitting next to Jamie - a guy who’s been stood up - and proceeds to go on the date he planned. The two have a perfect first date…that is until she disappears on him.

My Thoughts:
This book was so amazing. Literally romance perfection. I laughed. I cried. I swooned. Allison Ashley wrote such a beautiful story full of angst and love.

I adored these characters. They felt so real and their emotions just jumped off the page. The slow burn was the perfect amount of angst. It was joyful and heartfelt and just a lovely book.

I remember years ago Allison chatting with my book club and sharing the plot of this book. I had chills then when she talked about it over zoom. And I have been waiting for this book for over two years. 🤣 And I loved it just as much as I knew I would.

Allison Ashley is giving major Abby Jiminez vibes with this book, and I am here for it! I love how she infuses humor with heavier topics (like cancer in this instance) and her characters have great and undeniable chemistry. This one had the perfect amount of angst in my opinion and kept me a little on edge throughout to see how the different issues that came up would be resolved. My only complaint is that the main characters just coincidentally ran into each other a lot, which is a pet peeve of mine. Unless you are writing a small town romance, people just don’t happen to always be at the same place at the same time. But if you can look past that, this is a great read! 😉

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
