Sky Zone is the third (and appears to be the final?) book in the Crittendon Files. It was a disappointing read for me. It started out SO good and I had thought I'd actually have a favorite read from this series, but the story seemed to drag on and I did not like the twist.

Many of the characters' actions seemed unbelievable and I had a difficult time believing most of the story. Other things just seemed to wrap up too perfectly and too quickly.

All in all, not a book for me.

I really liked the first two books in this series but didn't enjoy this one as much. It's still fast paced and suspenseful, just not as much as the previous two.

Another good story from Mr. Mapes! This wasn't my most favorite of his, but it was a suspenseful plot with lots of twists and turns. I have to say it does really get you thinking about the possibility of terrorist attacks in our own land--something that seems to become more plausible every day. A really good story!

MY THOUGHTS
Creston Mapes is at the top of my list for suspense/thriller authors! I love his books, and I loved Sky Zone! It was nice to visit Jack and Pamela Crittendon again, and see what big adventure they were in for this time! And it was an adventure ok, and my head was spinning when I finished reading. It took me a while to get into another book cause I couldn’t get this one out of my head! I LOVE books like this! And I’m not going to reveal anything, you just need to read the book and see for yourself!

Creston Mapes is one amazing writer. I absolutely loved the first two books and wasn’t sure how I could love this one more, but I think I might. This is a book that had me up way too late but I couldn’t put it down.
Creston does an outstanding job of making the terror and chaos feel so real. He throws new twists and ramps up the tension with each chapter, adding another element that makes things more nail-biting.
Jack and Pam are in a tough spot financially at this point in the third book. The weight of paying bills weighs heavy on Jack and Pam is overwhelmed with working outside the home now and being pregnant. All of these facts play into the situation that plays out at the arena. I love how Creston ties everything together, even the things you think won’t contribute to the overall story, they do.
This is not a cozy read, so if you like that sort of book and you don’t like violence you won’t care for this book. But you like fast-paced adventure and never knowing what’s around the corner then this is a book I highly recommend
