A reconnection with a high school flame. Too many mishaps with mistletoe kisses. And an embarrassing encounter with a prince. Three different girls in three different stories all find love during the Christmas season.

Thank you Sheila Roberts, Kathleen Fuller, Pepper Basham, Thomas Nelson, and Zondervan Fiction Audio for the audio version of this collection of short stories. All thoughts and opinions here are mine and mine alone.

I greatly enjoyed each of these delightful short stories. They brought out the joy of the holiday season and gave such cozy vibes. The characters were lovable and easy to get attached to and cheer for as the stories progressed. I think each story was the perfect length for a short story. Each story was like an episode-length Hallmark movie, light-hearted, not very deep, and perfect for chilly weather!

I absolutely loved the audiobook version of these short stories. The narrator was excellent with giving life to each of the characters. I definitely recommend the audio version for the upcoming colder weather and holiday season!

Three Christmas novellas:
Return to Mistletoe by Kathleen Fuller
The Mistletoe Prince by Pepper Basham
Say No to Mistletoe by Sheila Roberts

First story - Return to Mistletoe - Emmy and Kieran are in their late thirties and neither has married. Kieran left home after high school when his father whom he was very close to died. Now after living years abroad Kieran is home for the holidays to help celebrate his mother’s 70th birthday.
Emmy never left Mistletoe and had a crush on Kieran in high school.
I loved the story, the characters, as well as the darling village of Mistletoe, Missouri.

Second story- ‘The Mistletoe Prince’, Features playboy Prince Arran St. Clare of Skymar,
He is sent to small town Ransom, North Carolina as a punishment for his playboy attitude and he needs a preparation to prove he is ready for the royal life. Additionally, his sister and her American husband live in this small town in Appalachia.
He meets' Charlie –‘Charlotte’ who is still a 'tom boy' raised by her father as her mother left when she was very young.
Without giving too much away this story contained more than romance but the Christmas Charity, program ‘The Mistletoe Wish’ will bring joy to your heart and having you saying aww yes this a true meaning of Christmas.,

Third story – ‘Say No to Mistletoe’, Hailey Fairchild is a romance author but not a fan of mistletoe- Wait- how can THAT be?
This story is somewhat like the first but has more humor. Once again love these characters

I am a big thriller fan and not big on short stories or romances however these sweet Christmas stories were wonderful and had me changing my mind.
I loved all three on many levels.

This trio of charming, sweet, clean Christmas romances will warm your heart and put a smile on your face.

Sheila Roberts (Say No to Mistletoe) and Kathleen Fuller (Return to Mistletoe) are new to me authors and their stories were a fun introduction to their work.

Pepper Basham's The Mistletoe Prince is easily my favorite of the three and worthy of a five star rating on it's own! For those of you, like me, who love her Skymar series, you will love revisiting some favorite characters.

After reading the book, I was given the opportunity to listen to an advanced copy of the audiobook and the narrator did a good job with all of the various characters she had to voice. Ironically, I preferred her male voices to her female ones.

*Thank you to NetGalley, HarperCollins Christian Publishing, and Thomas Nelson Fiction for the ALC, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I am a long-time fan of Sheila Roberts so this was a must-read for me! Short stories are the best way to try out new authors and when they are paired with a tried and true author you know it's going to be good. NetGalley allowed me to listen to the audiobook version in advance and I am convinced this is the best way to enjoy "Mistletoe Season". Sheila Roberts was very funny and tongue-in-cheek always a delight. Kathleen Fuller also delivered a sweet Christmas story suitable for any audience but my favorite story was by Pepper Basham. Pepper Basham is the only author I hadn't heard about or read yet but her story was heartwarming, it could have taken place at any time of year but the Christmas setting reminds us how magical the season is. Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read this in advance of its release I can confidently put this in the hands of all patrons.

Usually good things come in 3
1. Snap crackle and pop
2.The Holy Trinity
3.Primary Colors
4.The stripes on my cool Samba shoes

Unfortunately this follows the saying bad things come in 3.

I usually enjoy the cheeseball Christmas books, especially those written by Christian authors. All three of these fell flat for me. It was shocking how bored I was despite their incredibly short length. None of the characters were built up enough or allowed me to buy into who they were.
The narrorator may have had something to do with part of my dislike....the way over the top Scottish accent was too distracting.

I usually will sing Christmas books from the top of the mountain....but for this one....its just gonna be a Silent Night from me.....

Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to review this advanced copy of Mistletoe Season. I was not influenced or paid in exchange for my honest opinion.

I loved that this book had three delightful stories that could appeal to anyone.

The first story in Mistletoe Season was a surprise delight! I loved the friends-to-lovers trope, especially with characters in their 40s, which brought a fresh and mature dynamic to the romance. The vibes throughout were perfect, leaving me smiling from start to finish.

The second story, featuring a royal romance, was equally adorable! This was my personal favorite story. It had the perfect meet-cute and the "love at first sight" element, which gave me all the feels. It’s everything you could ask for in a sweet, fairytale-style love story—a good old-fashioned romance that made my heart melt.

As for the last story, it didn’t quite hit the same note for me. I appreciated that the protagonist was a romance writer, and I typically enjoy the friends-to-lovers theme, but I wasn’t a fan of how she ended up giving up her life in the city for the small-town guy.

Mistletoe Season is packed with cute, heartwarming tales perfect for getting into the holiday spirit!

I received a free copy from NetGalley for my honest review. I love a good Christmas novella that gives me all the warm holiday fuzzies like a Hallmark movie. And these three stories did just that. The romance is quick, with the nature of a novella. The love stories are obvious without being boring. And they all left me ready to put away the pumpkins and pull out the Christmas lights, and mistletoe. My favorite of the three stories was The Mistletoe Prince by Pepper Basham. I love a good “prince comes to a small down” holiday story, and this one did not disappoint. If you’re in the mood for some easy, holiday cheer, definitely give these novellas a read. ♥️🎄

If I could do partial stars, this compilation would get 3.25 stars. The Pepper Basham story was the most enjoyable because even though the story was short, a significant amount of time passed to make a relationship believable and I liked the country meets royalty juxtaposition. That one alone would be a 4 star read for me. The other two stories are 3 star reads and were just too fast for my taste even though both couples had history. The Irish accent of the male lead for the first story was also bizarre and distracting for me. I don’t think it is believable that a person comes to adulthood in America (where none of his family members have accents) and then develops a brogue after 26 years abroad. I know that sounds silly but it was seriously a distraction from the rest of the story.

I did like the narrator and felt like the voicing was different enough across the stories so as not to be confusing.

I received an advanced copy of this audiobook via NetGalley. The thoughts and opinions of this review are my own.

This was a charming audiobook that had three Christmas novellas by three authors I've never read before. I enjoyed all three stories and thought each would make a wonderful Hallmark Christmas movie.
The first novella is Return to Mistletoe by Kathleen Fuller, is a fun brother's best friend/second chance romance story.

The second novella is The Mistletoe Prince by Pepper Basham. This is a great royal/small town romance where our Prince is sent to Ransom North Carolina to get his life in order, as he has been a little out of control.

And our third story is Say No to Mistletoe by Shelia Roberts. this is a lovely unrequited love romance.

Thank you to Netgalley and Harper Collins Christian Publishing for the advanced listener copy. Tanya Eby narrates all three stories, and she is a pleasure to listen to. I highly recommend this audiobook, these three stories are sure to put you in the holiday mood.

Return to Mistletoe: such a cute story! A classic, old flame returns for a second chance at love. Very heartwarming and well written. Looking forward to reading the other two novellas apart of this book.

The Mistletoe Prince: I enjoyed this one even more than the last! I love a good "Royal goes to the country to fix their image" trope. The way that the author brought in the true meaning of Christmas and had Bible verses brought up in the characters conversations really sold it for me. For sure gifting this book for Christmas!

Say No to Mistletoe: Another super duper cute story. Romance writer returns to hometown and rekindles with high school crush.

I loved all 3 of the stories in this book, but I think The Mistletoe Prince was my favorite for sure!

First of all, thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to this ARC of Mistletoe Season by Sheila Roberts, Kathleen Fuller and Pepper Basham.

I loved this holiday collection of Christmas stories. For m, each sounded like the perfect little Hallmark Christmas story.

I enjoyed each of the three stories and loved the main characters in each of them.

Such a fun little listen and will definitely be looking out for more from each of these authors

I ended up DNFing this book around 25%. It didn't have enough going on to keep me interested and the storyline of missed love and second chances is not something I like.

These are three cute stories! I listened to the audio version but wish I would have read it instead. The narration was good but I had a hard time keeping everyone straight especially in the first two stories.

I did enjoy the stories and would recommend this book. I think this would be great for those who like to read young adult.

Thank you to NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my review.

These were such sweet holiday stories! I especially loved the second story that was based in the NC mountains with a prince! These authors did a wonderful job of fixing all the holiday cozy feels!

Three fun short stories from three different authors centered around holiday couples fueled by mistletoe.
First you get Emmy and Kieran. Emmy lives in a town called mistletoe, where she works in an antique shops. She loves all things festive, her daughter and her town. So when Kieran, her childhood crush, returns to Mistletoe for his mother’s birthday, sparks fly between him and Emmy. But his life has been in Ireland for the past years. Will he stay with Emmy or return to Ireland?
Second you get Prince Arran who’s given a reality check and been sent away to work on The Mistletoe Wish, a charity fundraiser to prove he’s suitable for the crown. What he didn’t expect was to meet a women who shows him some Christmas magic and just how deep his own character goes.
Lastly, you get jaded Hailey. Shes a romance writer who’s been burned by all her past mistletoe experiences. Specifically one with her neighbor Carwyn, back in high school that ended up in embarrassment. Now she returns home for the holidays, and possibly will run into Carwyn, but will she continue to say no to mistletoe this time?

These were so fun and light hearted to read. I think Hailey’s story was probably my favorite. The irony of being a romance writer while holding a grudge to her own experiences made for a fun journey. Kinda gave of the grinch vibes with her great growing lol. I also really enjoyed the Irish details with Kieran in the first story. Really gave him character and set the scene for some of his customs.

These 3 Christmas stories are adorable.
They deliver exactly everything that they promise.
My favorite was without a doubt “The Mistletoe Prince” by Pepper Basham.
This is the perfect compilation of stories to read or listen to in a cozy day. They are short, sweet and funny.
You can connect to the characters and see their evolution and growth in this short stories. I had an amazing time listening to this.
The narrator is spectacular and was fundamental do deliver the spirit of the characters.
In this stories there are all the good and amazing tropes, as enemies to friends to lovers, 2nd change, brother best friend. The heroes and swoon worthy.
Overall: I had an amazing time listening to this and would definitely recommend. It’s the perfect combination to get you out of a reading slump and into reading again because it will give you that cozy feeling and will reconnect you again with your reading.
