Lighthearted and fun, this book was a good time from start to finish. I also loved the main character so much.

This was a fun book with a good amount of spice. I had been ready a lot of mystery/thriller books, and this is exactly what I needed as a palate cleanser. This was a decent light book that can help tide you over until you find your next read.

Thank you to the publishers, author and NetGalley for the free copy of this audio book.
Overall a cute read, with fun main characters. I felt like the smut threw the plot line out of the window towards the end but I still enjoyed. The narrator did a good job.

**Review for *How to Help a Hungry Werewolf* by Charlotte Stein (Audiobook Edition)**
Charlotte Stein’s *How to Help a Hungry Werewolf* is equal parts hilarious and heartwarming, with just the right amount of bite. Delivered with a voice that captures every ounce of wit and whimsy, the audiobook brings this quirky tale to life in the best way.
The story is packed with laugh-out-loud moments, endearing characters, and clever commentary on taming the wild (and hangry) within. Whether you’re a werewolf, a werewolf-adjacent, or simply a fan of smart, funny storytelling, this audiobook is a howl of a good time. Perfect for long commutes or full moons.

I appreciate the opportunity to read this title and thank the publisher for providing me with the ARC however, based on reviews given by those whose tastes align with my own this book will not be for me. If I choose to read this title later on I will amend my review here.

I really enjoyed this book! Charlotte Stein captures the heart of these characters so well. I was laughing and cringing and swooning the entire time. What a lovely roller coaster!

I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.

Although this book was overall entertaining, it did have some cringe worthy moments for me. The storyline is interesting and hosts a variety of mythical creatures, some with some hilarious descriptions I had not heard before. Parts of the story didn't quite fit, and I hate that the main character was body shamed by her best friend, and then they just make up! Even if he does explain why he did it, i still didn't like him.
Thank you, NetGalley and Macmillan Audio, for a copy of this audiobook. The narrator, Yael Rizowy, did a great job. She perfectly captured the sarcasm and personality of the main character.

When Cassandras Grandmother dies, the last person she expects to find going through her grandmothers things is her ex best friend Seth.
But Seth has a secret that Cassandras grandmother was helping him with. And hopefully Cassandra can continue that help.
I struggled with this one, I am really over the clueless girl character. The strong female lead that can't see what's right in front of her.
When a guy is CL:EARLY into her and she just doesn't see it, its not cute and endearing, it makes her look like an air head.
So for that reason I struggled with this.
The end had an interested twist, but I just could not get behind this character

The humor in this book just wasn’t for me. Which is okay since everyone has a different sense of humor. I also thought the overall feel of the book came across as juvenile and immature.
As a woman who is plus sized and was bigger in high school, I hated the fact that Cassie just gave in and helped her high school bully because he got cute and needed her help.
I was super excited for this book because it was a paranormal romance, but it fell short. Unfortunately, I DNF’d this one.
I did receive an ARC from Netgalley and Macmillan, but I wasn’t able to listen to the audio in time. However, I got a different version of the book to still be able to review.

I don’t read a ton of romance, but I thought that a spooky werewolf romance might be fun! How to Help a Hungry Werewolf was a 2.5 ⭐️ for me! I am a big fan of friends to lovers and while this was a mix of both enemies and friends, I really enjoyed that part of the book! The characters were fun and sweet and I really enjoyed the raccoon familiar. The first 85% of the book was funny, but a little slow. The last 15% of the book was chalk full of (a little cringey) smut and a rushed ending. This one just wasn’t quite for me!

This was a fun romantasy with some spicy scenes that had me wishing my husband was a werewolf; rawr. ;)
I love how confident Cassie became with her abilities throughout this story and how supportive Seth was during the process. I also love ho Cassie helped Seth overcome his own issues. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series when it is written and released.
Yael Rizowy did a great job narrating this novel and I hope they narrate the rest of this series, again, when it is written, no pressure.

This might possibly be the horniest slow burn romance I have ever read. Like my god the tension but also HOLY COW HORNY MCHORNSON PARANORMAL BFF TO ENEMIES TO FRIENDS TO MATES LIKE COME ONNNNNNN. It was good, but also I needed the action (all of the action) to happen sooner in the story to keep me intrigued in the overall plot. But also, an adorable raccoon familiar and I died.

There is a trigger warning in the beginning of the book which I love. It is a bully romance and I am normally not a big fan of those, but I really enjoyed how this one handled the bullying. It is a sweet story and I can't wait to see where this series goes.

Oh my goshhhhhhh!! This book was steamy and magical in all the best ways. I love Charlotte Stein's writing so it was no surprise that I enjoyed this book. Our female main character, Cassandra, returns to her small town to wrap up a few loose ends she runs into her ex-bestfriend, Seth, in a pretty compromising position. Before they know it they are stuck solving a bit of a mystery together.
Their relationship is so cute and their distrust and inability to let go of the past makes the back and forth steamy and their reasoning actually makes sense. Cassie's insecurities and lac of confidence makes her such a likable character and I really loved Seth. They are such a cute pair and I loved to see them figure everything out. The author does a great job mashing funny, steamy, and thoughtful scenes all wrapped up into this book. This is a great paranormal romance that is not too much for the average contemporary romance reader. I will definitely be continuing this series!
I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a great Halloween romance read. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this story.

DNF at 75% - I did initially really like this and thought it was charming and cozy....I would say around the halfway mark, the spice level went from 0 to 100 with no real work-up to it and therefore I am put off with finishing it. The whole time the MCs are 'friends' and reconnecting over what they are, and learning to live with it and thrive...then all of a sudden it's just erections here, back-ups there, can't handle being near each other without NEEDING to touch. I feel like the second half is almost written by someone else that's how much the tone shifts so abruptly. I wish this would've gone better, but spice without a real lead in to it is cringey.

How to Help a Hungry Werewolf caught my eye because of its title and the cover. The title just made me smile and I love the how the cover is designed and colored. I have to say I went into this blind when it came to the synopsis. I was very grateful that I had the audiobook, because Yael Rizowy brought Cassandra to life in this story. The narrator is really what kept me going while reading and I'll be keeping an eye out for more books narrated by Yael!
This book started off really strong for me. I loved that Cassandra discovered a whole new world than she knew and that she was a witch. The creatures they stumbled upon, the talking microwave, and Pod really had me laughing. Cassie and Seth getting to know each other again also really warmed my heart. That's where it kind of got tricky though. I'm someone who prefers dual POV in romances, and I really missed Seth's POV in the story. I feel like getting his side of the story and how he thought would've been a great addition to my attachment to the stories and characters.
Also, don't get me wrong, I love spicy books, but after the halfway mark it kind of felt like that's all we got in the story. I just couldn't connect with this side of the story unfortunately. I think because it was so spice focused after that point, that the ending felt a bit rushed to me. I would've loved for them to spend more time talking about what happened and the consequences that followed.
While I really wanted to love this story, unfortunately, it just didn't work for me.

This was a great pick for the Fall season! I love a good urban fantasy with cozy, small-town vibes, and friends-to-lovers is one of my favorite tropes. Perfect for anyone looking for a spicy, fun read with witty banter, and anyone who enjoyed When Grumpy Met Sunshine.

For an enemies to lovers trope this is spot on, and very spicy. I liked the characters and felt for their friendship and then relationship. Was a bit unexpected on how spicy, just because the blurb didn't give that vibe. Otherwise it was still a good witch and werewolf love interest story. Overall a good fall read.

Thank you Macmillan Audio for the advanced listening copy!
Former best friends turned unexpected, supernatural team, Cassie and Seth had great chemistry and I loved their dynamic! Friends to enemies to friends to lovers is a fun dynamic and this part was well executed. Super quirky and cute to start with, then got super spicy like halfway through! I love a spicy book as much as the next person, but some of this felt a bit forced and awkward. The resolution felt like it took waaay too long but then the story wrapped up fast. I think the romance and overall pacing could have been executed better, but the magical parts and creativity of this book were well done.
