I loved the setting!! The town just seemed so cute. But I didn't love that we didn't get to spend a lot of time with a certain suitor.

Overall, If you're looking for a quick and easy Christmas read this year, throw this one on your list!! It's a really sweet read and honestly, who can go past an Irish accent lol

This was so cute! The first half was hilarious at times, the second half more serious (not a bad thing). All of the characters are great and you are immediately pulled into the small village/found family vibe. In another author's hands, the fact that Cassie is there on vacation but seemingly works the entire time, could have been unrealistic, but it works here. I wouldn't exactly call this a romance, and I can't even say it's closed door because absolutely nothing happens in that realm, however you will definitely swoon at the ballroom waltzing scene. I wish we had seen more of the development between Cassie and her man (no spoilers as to which one it is) which is why this doesn't get 5 stars. A little too insta-love there at the end for me.

It’s been 3 years since she was left at the altar by her fiancé Ted and she needs to stop mourning what could have been, especially since Ted seems to have moved on fine. Inspired by her late Nana Nora’s passion for life and adventure, she decides to spend the month leading up to Christmas in England, a little closer to her Irish roots. What she isn’t prepared for is not only one, but two handsome men who make her blush. Is Cassie going to be able to let go of the past and find true love, maybe with one of the two handsome men in the village?

This was a very light-hearted, christmas-y read. I love the small-town trope, where the villagers not only know each other but are willing to help and support each other. It really adds to the charm and it’s always encouraging to see what can be done with a group effort.
Cassie is a lovely heroine with a big heart and the perfect main character for a Christmas novel. The two love interests, british, royal-blooded Charles and irish, flirty Ryan are simply swoon-worthy. Even though there is an open love triangle it is low-angst and drama free. All three have realistic problems and depth you can empathise with and it is lovely to read how they navigate it all.

It gets 3 stars because I personally would have loved if we would have gotten more scenes between Ryan and Cassie. It felt like we got more with Charles and it felt a little unbalanced. Other than that, this truly is a lovely, quick and lighthearted Christmas read.

I found this book to be a delightful holiday cozy romance. I loved all the characters and the settings in England and Ireland. Cassie had quite the choice to make between two dashing suitors, but I was very satisfied with how everything turned out. Thank you for the ARC

Ah…such a perfect read that leaves you feeling very warm and cozy and that all is well in the world. It’s September and I can’t wait for Christmas having just finished this lovely story. Debbie Johnson never ever fails to deliver the best stories and this doesn’t disappoint

This is the first book I have read by Debbie but it won’t be the last. The title and synopsis pulled me in. Great characters,no one that annoyed me and the setting. Love the Cotswolds and Ireland so excited to read. Carrie,American with Irish heritage was on holiday after have a hard few years. She was left money by her adored Nana and wanted to spend it wisely. She arrived in the village which was full of Irish residents which reminded her of her Nana. She meets Ryan and Charles both very handsome but very different. Ryan,from Cork was full of fun and flirty and Charles was upper class English but still lovely. She could have been happy with either so we see the journey Carrie has. The cottage she has booked is not as expected so,she stays with Charles in his mansion for a few days. His family are all flawed but she likes them. She goes to Cork with Ryan to meet family on her Irish side. She also ends up working with Charles to turn his home into a profitable business. It was just a great read,didn’t want it to end. A must read from me. Will look for more of Debbie’s books.

Wholeheartedly heart-warming!

Calling this book just a holiday romance seems like an understatement— it is so much more. The holiday element is just an added bonus to an already complex and engaging story. The characters are so well-rounded and thoroughly developed with raw and real backgrounds— the reader can’t help but be drawn into their charm and stories. I would eagerly read another 300 pages about them!

From the moment I met Cassie O'Hara, a New Yorker with a zest for life, I was captivated. Her decision to spend a month in a quaint Irish village, funded by her spirited nana’s will, felt like the start of a charming adventure. I found myself eagerly anticipating her experiences in this picturesque setting, complete with cozy cottages and festive cheer—well, at least that was the expectation! Instead, Cassie faces a rather draughty cottage and a temperamental stray dog, adding a humorous twist to her plans.

The love interests, Charles and Ryan, are distinct and compelling. Charles, with his aristocratic charm and noble heart, contrasts beautifully with Ryan, the enigmatic handyman whose Irish accent makes Cassie’s knees weak. I enjoyed how their relationships unfolded, especially as Cassie navigated her event-planning duties at Bancroft Manor alongside Ryan. Cassie, a woman who is grieving the loss of her sweet Nan and the man who left her down the aisle. Leaving America for the Christmas holidays to go explore her Irish roots.

This novel is comedic, romantic, sweet and overall addicting. Following Cassie on her journey to healing whilst court in a somewhat triangle between the Dashing Charles and handsome Ryan. And she has to decide who she wants before she leaves to go home? There’s also a dog named eejit!

Overall I have thoroughly adored this book, it’s given me all the Christmas feels and I cannot wait to read more from Debbie!
