Cassie inherits some money and decides to use it on a month long vacation to the Irish countryside. What a genius! How could you not love this book? Cassie spends the month in snowy, christmasy Ireland, and has so many adventures, many of which include a very handsome man!

A 4.5/5 holiday romance!

Wow I thought this one was so cute! The perfect amount of heartwarming and charming with a light and cozy romance. Perfect for a snowy day in December.

This was a sweet story about Cassie O'Hara, a woman trying to recover after her fiancé left her at the altar.
I find it a little weird that it's called an Irish Christmas, but set mostly in England. I get the town is very Irish, but still.
I would have liked to see more interactions with Ryan throughout the story. I felt there was a lot of time with Charles and his family, but not much with Ryan, making the story rather unbalanced.
Overall though, it was a cute, quick read!

I absolutely loved this book! Debbie’s writing is exactly what I enjoy about reading, and this book was a delight. I loved the story of Cassie and watching her journey was wonderful; even though her specific circumstances were unique, I think a lot of women will relate to how she felt; I certainly did, and watching her grow felt special and in a way helped me. Also loved Ryan and Charles, and Georgie. Amazing characters, amazing setting, amazing book - highly recommend!

This was such a fun Christmas read! I do wish we would have gotten more interactions between the two main characters because I didn’t buy the romance too much at the end.
The setting was perfect: Irish culture set in England. It felt they put too much emphasis on the planning factor and her career so character development was lacking a bit. But overall I really enjoyed it! 💕

A very enjoyable and cozy read, perfect for the Christmas time
I definitely recommend it and can't wait to read other books by this writer.
I liked Cassie very much and all the characters are adorable and very charming, I especially loved Nanna Nora.
The spicy level is very low and for this reason I liked the book even more.

A Very Irish Christmas is a fun and wistful holiday romance filled with witty banter and Gaelic jargon. Cassie has been down in love and life after a devastating and quite frankly traumatic holiday experience. Following the passing of her favorite Nanna Nora, Cassie sets out on an adventure to find herself and happiness again. Little does Cassie know that her holiday away will change her life forever. Debbie Johnson does a beautiful job of intricately weaving charming characters and stories together to make this cozy holiday read. A Very Irish Christmas is a heartwarming story that will have you pining for Christmas and the holiday season.

Overall Enjoyment: 5 stars ⭐️
Christmas vibes: 5 stars⭐️
Romance: 4.5 stars⭐️
Plot: 4.5 stars⭐️

I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting to love this book as much as I did. I expected to read a typical Christmas story with all its predictable plot points. And it is a typical Christmas story and probably a bit predictable, but it never took me out of the story. I loved the mental health rep in this book and felt very connected to the characters. And it had all the Christmas magic you want from a story like this. The romance was heartwarming.
If I'm going to be nick picky about the story then I would have wanted a more dragged-out ending, so I just wanted more of the story.
And I even teared up a little at the end, as I never cry or get too emotional when reading that's saying a lot.
If you want a heartwarming romance with all the feels to get in the Christmas spirit, this is the one!
The perfect november/december read!

When I first met Cassie, she was still punishing herself by reliving her ill-fated wedding via video. Being jilted at the alter shook Cassie's self confidence which affected all areas of her life. Things only got worse when she lost her beloved Nana Nora who was one of the only people who really believed in and supported Cassie. Dreading another holiday with her nit-picky family, Cassie booked a trip to a charming English village. Though things got off to a rocky start, this trip ended up being exactly what Cassie needed to restore her faith in herself.

I can always count on Debbie Johnson to craft a story that warms my heart. At first, Cassie's story broke my heart, and that was why I was very excited for her to get out of New York. She needed a change of scenery and space in order to properly collect herself and make a plan for what was next. She was able to accomplish that and more in a place know as Little Ireland. The whole village sounded lovely, but it was the people who made this a welcoming place where Cassie could heal. They quickly embraced her as their own, and it was those friendship and a pair of handsome suitors that helped her move forward.

Fun and festive and packed with humor and warmth, this tale delighted me. I had a wonderful time with Cassie as explored her heritage, rediscovered herself, and found her people.

This was my first Debbie Johnson book, and I’m excited to read more! The story follows Cassie, a kind-hearted American, as she travels to England to honor her grandma and find herself again. I loved the two love interests—Charles, a British royal, and Ryan, a charming Irish flirt 😊. Despite the love triangle, the story remains light and heartwarming, without unnecessary drama.

I loved the small Irish town setting in the English countryside, where everyone knows each other and is always ready to lend a helping hand. It gave the story such a cozy, festive feeling. The characters were fun, the Christmas vibes were perfect, and the witty dialogue filled with Irish charm kept me smiling the whole way through.

This book is pure holiday magic, funny and romantic. It´s just the type of book I love reading around this time of the year. If you’re looking for a cozy Christmas romance with plenty of Irish charm, then this one is definitely for you!

I gave this book 4.5 stars, rounded to 5.

Thank you to Storm Publishing and Netgalley for the arc.
What a beautiful and funny Christmas book to lift you up and give you all the cozy Christmas feels. I just couldn't put it down. Talk about the dopamine feeling. This is the perfect book to snuggle up with. Absolutely loved the banter and the Irish element I wished it would never end.
Johnson is an amazing storyteller and brings a bit of magic into your worl with this adorable story of friendship, love, romance, and more.
Cassie goes to London to take time out from her life in the US to a tiny village of Irish residents, renting a little cottage that needs work. In comes Ryan our gorgeous handyman and joker. On the other hand we have landowner and owner of the house on the hill, Charles a viscount both men in like with beautiful Cassie.
Oh, I just love the sweet ending and happy with her choices.

This was a really cute story. A very sweet romance that is very light on the romance and more towards Cassie finding new purpose and meaning in her life after what she has gone through.
Cassie is pretty much at a crossroads in her life when she decides to leave New York City and travel to England for a month to spend the holidays alone. Her dearly departed Nana Nora was from Ireland and this seems like something she would want for Cassie. Except she ends up being anything but alone in the charming little town the cottage she rented is in that is actually called Little Ireland. Of course, all was not as looked like it would be online when she paid for her rental.
I don’t want to spoil anything but let’s just say she meets an interesting cast of folks including two very different men, and isn’t quite sure of her feelings as both relationships are very platonic at first. She finds she has only has romantic feelings towards one of them. I really like both of them though, Charles and Ryan. They are as opposite as they come, but both are very good men and very much what Cassie needs right now. But her heart eventually only leads her in one direction which then leads to a sweet HEA.

As a fan of the Starshine Cove series, I was thrilled to dive into this Christmas novel by Debbie Johnson. From the very beginning, it gave me vibes of the Christmas film 'The Holiday', and I absolutely adored every second of this fantastic book. This book is a delightful festive read, filled with romance and travel, making it a perfect holiday escape. If you're looking for something heartwarming and fun for the season, this book is a must-read!

This was my first book by Debbie Johnson and it’s got me desperate to read more. A witty, joyful read that just kept on making me smile and left me with a lovely festive glow. It’s warm and deliciously romantic.
I loved the character development as lonely New Yorker Cassie learns to trust her heart again. The two potential heroes are suitably gorgeous, and with a varied cast of side characters and beautiful settings, you really can’t go wrong with this one. It’s like the best festive Richard Curtis movie, but better. Thank you to Debbie Johnson and to Storm Publishing for such a fabulous few hours of reading.

Holiday Romance ✔️
Small English/Irish village ✔️
Found Family ✔️
Two swoonworthy possible love interest check ✔️
Humor ✔️

This book was a great holiday read, that checked many of my boxes. Callie, still trying to get over her ex, is convinced by her friend June to take a vacation in hopes to help her heal and move on.
What Callie doesn't expect is to find love a long the way. Both of her potential love interest are swoon worthy (Ryan and Charlie). I was rooting for the one she chose the entire book. I do however, wish there was a little more sexual tension and a little more romance as did feel it was a little rush. As well, I would of enjoyed the book being a little longer as well.
4 stars.

Debbie Johnson's "A Very Irish Christmas" is the perfect book to put you in the mood for the holidays! This was the first novel I've read by this author, but it certainly won't be my last.

I thoroughly enjoyed the world and characters Johnson crafted. From the village of 'Little Ireland' and its inhabitants to the characters like Ryan and Cassie, this book is full of so much heart and humor.

There were a few places toward the end I'd wished were a little longer, such as another scene with Georgie and Charlie, but overall, I'd still give it a solid 5 stars.

All thoughts and opinions of this book are my own.

Thank you to Netgalley and Storm Publishing for a review copy of this book.

Debbie Johnson's *"A Very Irish Christmas"* is a heartwarming festive romance that transports you straight into the enchanting English countryside. Cassie, the main character, embarks on a journey to honor her late grandmother’s memory and perhaps find some healing along the way. The small, snow-dusted village in the Cotswolds where she lands is full of charm and holiday cheer, offering the perfect backdrop for this Christmas adventure.

Cassie’s romantic dilemma between two charming suitors was a fun aspect of the plot, though I didn’t feel a strong connection between her and either love interest. However, that didn’t take away from the overall warm and cozy vibe of the story.

Johnson has crafted a cozy, uplifting holiday read that’s easy to get lost in. With Irish humor, festive celebrations, and a sprinkle of romance, this is a great choice for anyone looking for a light, feel-good Christmas story.
