I loved this that its a standalone or you can read it in a series but this was eagon and tessas romance story with a lot of sex, spicy scenes and also action. I loved wolf isle i thought it gave me the spooky vibes in a way and the family curse. Loved the insta love theme for the two pair, I also love how strong eagon was, i felt bad about his brother, he was hurt in some ways but still strong. This is a very exciting highlander romance for those who love historical romance and medieval.

I love the story it kept me page turning. I gave it 5 stars.

5 Stars! Heather McCollum is one of my absolute favorite authors & books like this are why! When I read one of her books, I know I’m going to enjoy it. This is the 5th book in ‘The Brothers of Wolf Isle’ series and can be read as a standalone. I read book 1, 4 & 5 but missed book 2 & 3, which I really want to go back and read the series one after the other. This is Eagan & Tessa’s story and with duel points of view, lots of action, steamy ‘sexy times’ action, a villainous pirate, a witch, a buff & brawny Highlander, a strong female main character, love, hate, secrets, danger, cats, possible pregnancy, threats of death, a family curse with a bleeding, cursed tree, family and a HEA ending, it was a very entertaining book. And that’s just a snippet of what the author has put in this book. This is definitely a favorite series of mine, beat out only by the ‘Sons of Sinclair’ series, also by Heather McCollum. You really can’t go wrong with a Heather McCollum book! Trust me on this!

A fantastic conclusion to this series! This was filled with action, adventure, romance and a heroic cat.

The action was dramatic and had me on the edge of my seat. I never knew what to expect and was pleasantly surprised with how everything played out. I enjoyed the mystery too.

The chemistry between Eagen & Tessa was palpable. It was definitely insta-lust but the romance is built beautifully. I thought their romance was very romantic and they had a lot of swoon worthy moments. There is also a lot of steamy scenes here which is always a plus.

An exciting highlander romance that will leave readers breathless.

OK, I literally love this whole family, I will be reading the others. I love a good romance where everything flows and the main characters are not shy AT ALL. This should be made into a movie, the action in this book???? So dramatic, I am here for it. The language that they spoke was something that I struggled with a little bit, so it took me longer to read, but overall loved these two.

The Brothers and the Macquarie Curse:
What a fantastic conclusion to this amazing series. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars, plus it would make a fantastic movie.
I spent two days glued to my seat while reading this electrifying story of love, curses, pirates, kidnapping, smoldering magnetic passion that brought Eagon and Tessa together, a terrifying escape along with a sad yet beautiful ending for all.
Reading about all these characters throughout the series where you feel like you get to know them and then have all of them come together for this last book was just plain enjoyment.
I can't say enough about this series as each book just gets better. I did need my lady's fan. I had a few Oh No's and that last shocker really caught me off guard with a big OMG! I can't believe that!

💖Special Mention "Sia" the brave cat.

I had such a fantastic time reading The Highlander's Untamed Tempest! It's the second book by Heather McCollum I read and absolutely cements me as a fan.

I'm such a sucker for highlander romances, it's become my favorite sub-genre of historical romances, and this one is definitely on my list of top favorites.

The plot was engaging, the action nerve-wracking, the tension sublime, the cat heroic (!!!), and the chemistry between our leads exquisite.

I loved how it wasn't insta-love, but it was insta-lust. There is immediate attraction between Eagen and Tessa, and it doesn't take long for it to fully ignite. My sole quibble is due to the intense action that takes root in the plot, thus becoming a thrilling plot point, I didn't feel there was enough romancing. Lots of physical loving, but not as much emotionally. Nevertheless, the intimacy between Eagen and Tessa was beautiful and I wholly rooted for them!

Also, one more shout out to the cat! The cat was such a star, such a little hero! You'll see!

If you enjoy highlander historical romances, that bring a touch of magic, alluring mystery, and exhilarating action this one is definitely calling for you!

This was a satisfying conclusion to the Macquarie Clan's story of the curse of Wolf Isle. The story follows Eagan, the last brother who has yet to wed, and Tessa, a French healer who finds herself interested in Eagan. Though the two have a connection, Tessa isn't planning to stay on the isle forever as she awaits her father's return. The French is beautifully woven throughout the story. There is a balance of passion and respect. Plus talk of witches and curses. The action really gets going when pirate Captain Jandeau makes his appearance.

I have loved every book I've read in The Brothers of Wolf Isle series but I think "The Highlander's Untamed Tempest" might be my favorite.

I really enjoyed Eagen and Tessa's storyline, it was full of action, adventure, family drama and swoon worthy chemistry.

As much I loved the conclusion to this series I am a little sad to see it's finished. This is an auto-buy author me so I can't wait to see what stories we'll see from her next.

I definitely recommend adding this book to your TBR. Each book can be read as a standalone but once you start I think you're going to want to read all of them, I know I did.

The curse is finally broken!

Like the other books in this series, The Highlander’s Untamed Tempest is full of action, adventure, romance, and family. It was a fun adventure from start to end, and a fitting final book of the series.

I have not read the rest of this series, but I didn't feel like I was out of place. This book was a fun romp, with pirates and witches and Inquisitors!
