Your Little Lies by Sue Fortin is a gripping psychological thriller that takes you on a tense journey with the main character, Hannah. Hannah is a woman trying to keep her life together after past trauma, and as events unfold, she becomes suspicious of her new neighbor, believing he might be hiding something sinister. The story is told from Hannah’s perspective, allowing readers to experience her inner turmoil and growing paranoia firsthand. Fortin did a great job providing enough background on the characters to help us understand their thoughts and motivations, which made the twists feel more impactful.

Although some of the story’s events felt a bit far-fetched, the characters and their development kept me fully engaged. The ending wraps everything up nicely, which I appreciated, with no lingering loose ends.

The audiobook is narrated by the brilliant Imogene Church, and as always, her performance is supreme. She brings Hannah’s character to life, adding a layer of intensity to the already suspenseful plot.

Thank you to NetGalley, Sue Fortin, and Storm Publishing for the opportunity to review the audiobook. This is a solid, enjoyable read for fans of psychological thrillers, especially if you like books filled with twists and turns that keep you guessing.

Omg this was such an unbelievable story. Lots of twists and shocking moments but it was also beautiful too. There were some heavy topics like suicide and death discussed but also just so cleaver how it all unfolded and we learned new twists. I will say it does leave one question hanging but overall loved how it all came together. Highly recommend this one for all my thriller lovers.

Your Little Lies, a novel by Sue Fortin, narrated by Imogen Church was enjoyable because the author is a beautiful writer and Church is an absolutely stellar narrator- one of my favorites. I definitely rooted for Laurel/Hannah the whole time–she is a likable and sympathetic protagonist, if a bit slow on the uptake. (I was willing to chalk it up to shock and sadness, but when she was oblivious to being farmed even after the person doing it had literally spelled out her intension just a few chapters before... sigh. I might have shouted a bit in my car.) All the twists were visible from miles away, every clue so blatant it was impossible to miss. Readers who prefer mysteries where they know exactly what's coming will absolutely love this book. Personally, I like to be surprised, if not by every twist, then at least one or two. Giving 4 stars because Your Little Lies is so well written and narrated. Taking off 1 star for the lack of suspense and the frustratingly oblivious protagonist.

I really enjoyed this book. Really really did. A mystery, wrapped in an upscale gated community with a side of intriguing neighbors including a mysterious man. Parents Hannah and Jasper begin their new life in this enclave and all is well.....until Hannah catches the eye of someone from her past she should never have seen again.

Sue Fortin is a new, to me, author, and she managed to create compelling characters, a past and present timeline which flowed, lots to guess and the publisher smartly chose accomplished narrator Imogen Church to deliver the story.

So, why not a 5 star? Oh my gosh it was too long. When I thought this one was done and the mystery told I happened to look at my ipod and saw there was STILL 3 more hours to go. I was shocked. It was just too much at nearly 12 hours. The story would have been so much more enjoyable had it been tightened up.

I read this as a book and loved it so I was overjoyed to have the opportunity to listen to it. A good book with my absolute favorite narrator! Sign me right up. Oh I loved it so much! It was even better as an audiobook.
I was not surprised about the "bad guy" but I was surprised by the wonderful ending. I love the way the author revealed little bits of Hannah's past. It was the best!
