Another Twisty book by Mcfadden, although it still doesn't top Never lie for me, it was an enjoyable and quick read that kept me guessing till the end and of course I still didn't see that last twist coming when I thought I had it all alone!

As usual, I fly through Freida’s books, and this one was no exception. Your typical Freida twists that I think I have figured out and end up being proved wrong. A host of unlikable characters in this one.

It’s the first Freida book I’ve listened to the audio of and I didn’t know what I was missing! I was on the edge of my seat!

What a great book really! A real page turner that keeps you guessing who-dun-it! The flow was unbreakable, shifting between the two main characters and jumping back and forth in the timeline, everything was seamless. Freida McFadden is known for her writing style and it shows again in this book how she weaves mystery and suspense with a great plot twist. Highly recommended!

The dating scene is abysmal, ask anyone forced to subject themselves to it, but author Frieda McFadden confirms female's worst fears as a serial killer appears to be targeting dating women. What readers won't be prepared for is the earth-shattering twist McFadden expertly weaves amongst her tale as we shift between present day and a mysterious past.

Wow, that ending was a complete surprise! I truly believed I had it all figured out. Freida McFadden has done it again with another captivating story. This is one of those novels where to truly appreciate it, you must read the entire book; so much unfolds at the end! I can’t wait to dive into more of her work. If you appreciate McFadden's writing, you definitely shouldn't miss this one!

10/10 absolutely amazing!!! The narrators played the part so well and the characters, though not all good had loveable characteristics!

This book is full of twists and turns. Sydney a youngish woman living in NYC is single but doesn't wish to be. She is on the hottest dating app they have in NYC but she keeps dating losers. In the meantime, she has her two besties that keep her updated with their love life and help her stay busy in the big city. Out of nowhere Sydneys' world is rocked by several different events and things will never be the same, will she ever leave her apartment again, will she continue dating, will she ever find the perfect boyfriend? To find you you'll have to read the book.

This year, I’ve had the pleasure of diving into a few of Frieda McFadden's books, and I think this one might be my favorite! I love how she gives us a glimpse into the minds of really troubled people. Even though we know it will be intense, I am pleasantly surprised by her twists. It keeps me on the edge of my seat!

I was given this Audiobook ARC for my honest review. This story follows Sydney has she dates in New York City, and she has terrible luck with the men she matches with. Until one date she hits the jackpot with a handsome doctor! When Sydney discovers one of her friends was murdered, she starts to question everything and everybody.

I will always love how no matter how smart you think you are you cannot guess the ending of a Freida book! I would recommend this to any reader.

Wow!! This book did not disappoint! I could not put this story down when I started it and for anyone who needs a thriller to get their heart racing this is the book for you!

This book follows Sydney who has struggled to find love after years of looking. When she hits the jackpot it almost feels too good to be true. There are things about her new man that just do not add up. When women are found brutally murdered and things start to pointing in a direction Sydney does not like it starts to make her wonder is my man who he says he is?

This book kept me on the edge of my seat. Obsession, lust, and curiosity kept me guessing the entire time. Even when I thought I figured it out I was wrong and kept listening to find out what was going to happen next. Sydney is brave and her trustingness was crazy. The ending really wrapped up quickly but I did not guess the twist which is a must for me!

I recommend this book to anyone looking for a fast paced thriller that keeps you guessing even when you think you know what is happening. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this story.

A dark story about obsession and the things we’ll do for love. Another great read by Freida McFadden.

My first Freida McFadden! What a fun ride this one was. I never saw where the story was going and was 100% along for the ride.

The Boyfriend is a quick read that will have you flying through the pages. This twisty thriller will have you guessing the entire time. Another great read for all the Freida Readers!

This Book was so fun to read, I read it quickly ---This was an addictive page turner! I inhaled this read. As in true Freida fashion, there was a great plot twist and this is one you should not miss from Freida.

Audio Book Review - Victoria Connelly and Adam Blandford narrate this comfortably and keep the pages gliding by! The suspense is endless and the tone of the narrators made that tangible. The location is always great to learn about and this one didn't disappoint.
The story itself was entertaining in a twisted, chilling kind of way which made for some disturbing thoughts throughout the book.

4.5 stars—Freida has done it again, everyone! I was on edge the whole time, trying to predict the twist, and just when I thought I’d figured it out, Freida pulled her classic move and turned everything upside down. This was such a gripping story that left me thinking about it days after finishing (still not over that ending, by the way!). Now, I’m counting down the days to The Crash—I already know I’m going to devour it.

And can we talk about those reviews calling this book “predictable”? There is no way anyone could’ve foreseen everything that unfolded. Freida, I’m a devoted fan, and I won’t hear a word against any of your books!

Let’s just say that if Freida publishes her grocery list I’m buying it!!!!! I ATE THIS ONE UP. I couldn’t stop once I started. Hooked from the very first chapter. Love the multiple POVs. I totally was not expecting that ending. I thought I had it figured out all along. Thank you for this Frieda l, NetGalley and poisoned pen!!!

As a woman, this one made me so uncomfy. I do not know another way to put it! Expect your repairman is doing sketchy stuff? Maybe he is! See that shadow on your walk home at night? Maybe it is an attacker! The whole book is basically how these ladies living in the city have to deal with the male ego while trying to just live their lives.

This kept me guessing and honestly that is all I ever want in a thriller. I have said this time and time again, but I enjoy thrillers that don't expect me to guess the ending and instead just introduce crazy things that turn it all upside down!

Thank you to Freida McFadden for writing a book that made me buy pepper spray for my walks downtown. Thank you for making me feel better about myself for not letting clearly bright red flags be okay in my life. Lastly, thank you for creating Sydney and her chaotic world that kept me reading far later than I should have every night.

Love love loved this audio book! So many twists and turns and what an honor to get it as an ARC. This is one of those books that you think you have figured out time and time again, but you sure don’t!

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. Another Freida McFadden book that kept me sitting in my car long after I had arrived. It was fun trying to figure out who did it all the way up to the very end. It's a little bit of a lackluster ending, though.
