A short but sweet novel where the grumpy cowboy meets his match.

I always enjoy the addition of a 'young 'in' and Her Big Sky Cowboy is no different . Children just add another layer to the general feeling of a story.

Definitely a nice way to spend a few hours especially if single dad /cowboy romance is a favoured trope.

This book was just divine. I normally struggle engaging with audiobooks and it can become quite the barrier to enjoying a book. However, this one I felt like I couldn't get enough of.

I genuinely loved Zane as a protagonist - there was so much depth to his character and it made me really warm to him. Similarly with Trinity, she was so raw and honest.
This was most definitely a slow-burn kinda romance and I was patiently (not really) waiting for them to finally realise their feelings for each other!

A super cute, wholesome romance read.

Very cute. The tension throughout between the main characters could be felt. I wasn’t a big fan of the miscommunication and I wanted the MMC to grovel a bit more but I liked it. It was a very quick and cute read.

DNFed halfway through chapter 5 - I had no idea what was going on. I love cowboy romances but I could not get into this one. Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to get an ARC

I received an ALC (Advanced Listener Copy) of this audiobook from NetGalley & Bolinda Audio.

4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trinity is a very likable character you can’t help but want her to get her HEA. She is exactly what these two need whether they know it yet or not.
Zane to me felt like the strong silent type, but he also knew when to ask for help for his son. It was a sweet romance, and it unwound perfectly not too fast or too slow.

I thought the connection between Trinity and Zane was palpable and really gave me a sense of who each other was and how they both needed to trust in each other for things to work.

Loved the way it ended.

The narrator was lovely, and she did a great job with the character's tones.

I loved this audiobook. Trinity Redfern was such a likeable character and had me rooting for her from the first chapter. The characters were enjoyable to read about and I found the audio easy to listen to throughout. The audio sticks to one narrator but we still get a great vibe for each character making it easy to understand which character was speaking and easy to follow. I found that I truly fell for the love story here and the cowboy romance energy was strong throughout with a likeable story and scenery easy to picture as you read. At times I would have liked a male voice mainly to add a little extra but it certainly wasn't needed. The clear descriptions of the characters brought them to life as I was reading and I could feel as though I was in the book thanks to the good descriptions.

This was a cute read, feminine and current with so much more than romance. The themes of family, trust, and trauma added depth to the story and characters and left the question; can we trust after heartbreak? It has great representation for those who may struggle with speech which made the fact this was an audio read even more special in my opinion. It touched on family values and family relationships and my heart felt connected to the characters. The descriptions of surroundings and characters appearance made everything come to life and tapped into the cowboy scenery so well. I also enjoyed the pace of the book and the audio. It didn't feel rushed which can happen sometimes with romance books that lean on the shorter side but here with Her Big Sky Cowboy I felt we were able to get a good sense of the main characters, a fun cute story as well as deeper and bigger themes and a good flow to what was a shorter story. It did leave me wanting to read and hear more about the next stages in the lives of Trinity and Zane.

I would recommend this book if you enjoy a cute cowboy love story with the addition of single parent/guardian angle and themes of family relationships, vulnerability, trust and love.

If you're looking for a short and sweet romance book, here it is. Whilst this is book 3 in a 6 book series, it didn't negatively impact my experience as I read it as a standalone. Such a beautiful storyline with some raw emotions around found family, family, and trust. This audiobook was a wonderful experience.

An easy quick cowboy romance. I felt that the book could have been developed more as I would have liked to see more of the characters growth - everything felt quite rushed. I will however pick up the rest of the series.

I liked this audiobook a lot! the story was fun and light but still had a lot of emotional moments. I love the characters and the single dad’s relationship with the FMC as well as his son’s relationship with her. it was cute and well done!

This was my introduction to cowboy romances and I really didn't get into it as much as I thought I would. I was so surprised by how closed door this novel was. At one point I wasn't even sure if there had been an off page spice scene. We all know I like spice but I also know that stories don't have to have them to be good. The plot just really didn't do it for me. I know there are people out there who will love this book. The narrator, Jessica Preddy, could have done with a greater differentiation between characters but still did a great job.

Big thanks to NetGalley, Bolinda Audio and Alissa Callen for an early release copy of this book. This is an honest review.

Trinity and Zane know that they are attracted to each other, but there are some huge emotional obstacles stopping them from acting on that. Zane's ward, Finn, needs Trinity's professional help, though, and they have to spend the summer together. Feelings blossom, but the obstacles seem too high. Some old friends save the day, and everything works out. The narration is smooth and easy to listen to.

Thank you NetGalley and Bolinda Audio for the ARC.

The audiobook of 'Her Bid Sky Cowboy' was short and really cute. I saw the cowboy boots and immediately wanted to hear this story. The narration and writing were impressive. The story wasn't as captivating, but I enjoyed the characters nonetheless.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ALC.

This was a quick listen, all in one sitting as I was getting ready this morning and it was good. I thought that the narrator did a phenomenal job and I need to look at who it is because I really like her style.

As for the book this is a short - less than 5 hour, audiobook that is closed door small town, cowboy romance. Nothing about it stood out to me much but there was nothing bad about it either.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bolinda Audio for the ALC in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed the narration for this audiobook, but most of the actual story didn’t work for me. As a speech-language pathologist I assumed this was going to be my worst ethical nightmare. It turned out to be less appalling that I thought it would be on that front. However, I don’t think I’ve ever worked being an SLP into that many conversations or my own inner monologue to this to degree. That was a lot. Also not sure how she just “cured” a supposedly selectively mute child by hanging out with him for a couple days? Yay! Magic!!

I also just felt lost a lot of the time I was listening to this. I loved that it was short, but jumping between POVs was a little jarring sometimes and it seemed plot points and feelings just developed out of nowhere sometimes.

Pros:
-character growth
-a cute dog and some horses
-a cute kid
-good in an audiobook format

Cons:
-barely any conflict (literally nothing to keep you engaged)
-postpartum depression and abuse side plot that is minimized quite a lot.
-not much actual romance
-zero chemistry
-POV jumps

-this was closed door which could be a pro or con for some. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Personally, I think a little spice could’ve saved this one.

This might’ve worked really well as a Hallmark movie but as a book I was honestly just bored.

I got this as an ARC from Netgalley I got it as an audio book so I will talk about the narrator first. She did a really good job reading the book but at times I think I could hear pages turn and there was sometimes so extra long pauses. But overall she did a good job! This was a really cute ranch romance book that gave me all the feels! I love that Zane got all the answers he needed and watching Finn grow in this book was my absolute favorite thing! I definitely recommend if you need a quick easy read! I’ll give it 4 ⭐️ and 0 🌶️

The whole story fell a little short for me. I loved the idea of a cowboy romance, but these characters felt underdeveloped. The book itself was short, which is fine, if the writing is impressive enough to handle it. But I wasn’t a huge fan of the story or the writing.

I was really excited for a sweet cowboy romance. I just wasn't feeling this. It felt flat to me, I found myself ready for it to be over.
Thank you for allowing me to listen and review.

Zane is a grumpy quiet cowboy with trust issues. He does have good reason. Trinity is the speech therapist helping Zane’s boy, Finn. This cute closed door romance is full of healing and hope. There’s even some surprising twists. A couple different plot lines kept me interested. My only dislike was it felt the characters fell in love too quickly without really spending much time together. I did like that I got dual POV even though it was in third person. This is full of HEAs. Found family will give you all the warm feelings. Thank you NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review. I enjoyed the audiobook.

2.5⭐️

this had the bones to be a really good and sweet love story not only with the main couple but as well with the son getting a family system.

this “romance” led more as a story about growth which typically is fine but i felt as if there was a lot left to be desired. you feel bad for the mmc but it doesn’t go too much in depth to hold my interest.

as a romance, the couple rarely interacted and it was dragged out for so long. it took forever to just kiss and there was absolutely no chemistry.

as i received the ALC from NetGalley, I would also say that while normally 3rd person audiobooks do not bother me, this one did. I found it extremely hard to follow as there was just one female narrator and she didn’t change her tone of voice at all. I felt like I was being read to vs being in the story. The narrator also gave the energy as if she was reading for a middle grade book. Overall, not ideal for a romance.
