A classic style noir novel. Everything that a mystery reader loves. It's dark and gritty. It is thrilling. It keeps you going page after page. Dig on in to this great novel for a great time.

Although I enjoyed the story, it seemed overly long and repetitive at times. But Chicago is a great setting for a book like this and I enjoyed reading about Chicago as much as reading the storyline.
