This was a book that seemed realistic apart from the fact that the dog spoke, so it was an unusual mixture of realism and fantasy. The story was written simply, but perhaps too simply. The illustrations and the text were ok, but not overly exciting.

This is a cute book about a young boy and the puppy he finds. This book shows the importance of perseverance and kindness, and that even if you don’t find what you are originally looking for, the end result can be even better!

Bob and Fluffy's first adventure is a fun and imaginative children's book! Bob stumbles across Fluffy the dog while on a walk and together they go on a quest to find Fluffy's family, visiting different homes in the neighbourhood. The illustrations in this book are vibrant and colourful and the story was well written. It is a story about friendship and kindness. My little ones enjoyed this book and following Bob and Fluffy's journey!

The story was well written and it was easy to follow.

The story is the first adventure for Bob and Fluffy, who Bob finds wet and cold after Fluffy ran away from his new home to look for his mum. I am already looking forward to the next adventure of Bob and Fluffy!

(I was a bit mixed that Fluffy probably does have a family looking for him somewhere as if he did run away it would be further than the doors knocked on where he was found - but I took the story in the spirit it is written as it is a kids book after all)

It is 4 stars from me for this one - highly recommended!
