This was a very sweet, magical story about sisterhood, overcoming obstacles and being true to yourself. It was enchanting and well written, but very basic. Good for this time of year because of the magical elements but it could have held a lot more depth to it.

Thank you so much to @simonandschusterca for this arc! 😊
This book was really the definition of a cozy fantasy. The setting, the storyline, the characters development, everything was cozy and was clearly fitting the September/October vibes.🍂
I liked this story, but I’m not a huge fan of cozy fantasy and this book confirmed that fact. 🙈 The story was really well thought of and the characters are so different from each others but all lovable. It was also a great story about the relationship between sisters and their individual journey in life.
I had trouble getting in the story in the first half of the book but it clearly got better the more I read!
Overall, cozy fantasy fan clearly should give it a try and if you want a book to start your cozy fantasy journey, I think it’s a great start!🙌🏻
Happy reading!
A sentient house in which nestles a solid sisterhood stitched together by powerful love, nostalgia, magic and grief. This oh-so-cozy yet bittersweet historical fantasy follows three witch sisters as they try to find their sense of independence and individuality while battling the familial guilt that comes with the journey there, especially after having only each other to rely on for so long. The writing is so vivid, all five senses are engaged, it’s almost like you’re there; and oh how I wish the Crescent Moon Tearoom was a real place because it’s straight from my daydreams. It’s also a character in itself and serves to personify that feeling of a home that’s like a safety net that’s hard to let go of. There’s also a time traveling cat, though any cat makes a lovely addition to any story. Make yourself a cup of tea, grab a pastry, and light a scented candle before settling down with this one. Thank you to Simon and Schuster for the eARC.
Perfect for Fall, The Crescent Moon Tearoom by Stacy Sivinski is a cozy, magical mystery that draws you in like a warm cup of tea on a rainy day. The story follows three sisters—Anna, Violet, and Beatrix—who are witches with the gift of divination. They run a tearoom in downtown Chicago where they read fortunes for their clients.
All is well until they’re faced with an impossible task, and their friend detects the start of a curse on the sisters. From that moment, their search for clues pulls them in different directions, leading them down separate paths, each hard to resist and even harder to share with one another.
I really enjoyed this book for its perfect blend of mystery, witchcraft, and a dash of romance. Although it touches on the miscommunication trope (which isn’t my favorite), I appreciated that it was used between sisters instead of romantic partners. It still tugged at my heartstrings but added depth to their relationship.
If you're looking for a magical, cozy Fall read, The Crescent Moon Tearoom is out now, so make sure to add it to your TBR! A big thank you to #Netgalley and #SimonSchusterCanada for the eARC. I loved it! 🍂✨
Absolutely adored this debut novel with its witchy, cozy vibes! The Quigley sisters own a tearoom, but not just any tearoom, one that is the host to fortune telling and many happy customers. One day, the Council of Witches request that the Quigley sisters help with three witches who have failed to find their Tasks. The Council also informs them that if they fail, they will have to shut down the teashop. With a family curse that will ultimately separate the sisters and the Council of Witches keeping them busy, the sisters relationship start to shift.
I really enjoyed the way 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 was written! I particularly liked how the story started from its main plot and then proceeded to split into several smaller plots. I ended up quite invested in each character and their own ambitions- including the House, which was definitely a favourite character! Definitely recommend this one if you are looking for a cozy read with some magical elements, that is guaranteed to leave you craving baked goods and maybe wanting to go to or join the circus?

Honestly I really enjoyed this read. I have been reading a lot of die hard, and rather depressing fantasies as of late, but this cozy fantasy about mystery and sisterhood is what I needed. It was perfect timing for the release of Agatha all Along on Disney Plus, as well as the spooky season coming up! This book was like three stories that merged into one as we follow the paths of the Quigley triplets. I loved each of their stories as they found their way towards their own paths in life. The ending had me feeling all sorts of emotions and was beautifully done. Overall, I found The Crescent Moon Tearoom to be the perfect magical read and I will be buying the physical copy when it releases to reread for Fall.
The Crescent Moon Tearoom was a great way to get into the autumn/witchy season.
Triplet witches who own a tearoom together, read leaves of their clientele and live in said teashop together should definitely encounter issues with each other but that isn't the case. Well, it wasn't the case until they all start to question their true paths in life. Throw on top of that a task given to them from the witches council and things in the tearoom get very intense. The secrets begin to pile up and soon the need to stay together seems to be fracturing. Will the sisters finish their task and will they go their separate ways?
This was a decent read but it was quite slow going and the author could have delved deeper on some of the content. Overall, I enjoyed getting lost in this fantastical read!

this was a very cozy, witchy read. i liked the whole idea of the plot, but i found it not super engaging and not a lot was going on! i honestly was a tad confused the first half of the book due to following 3 story lines - obviously figured it out, it just took me awhile 😅
overall this was a very quick and easy read!
thank you to netgalley & stacy for the arc!
what to expect:
- cozy vibes
- sisterhood
- witches
- family curse
This book has now become my entire personality and I am not apologizing for anything. This truly might be the best debut novel I have ever read!
The Crescent Moon Tearoom is full of cozy fall vibes that are perfect for curling up with a cup of tea and a warm blanket on a cold night. If Gilmore Girls had witchy themes and some magic involved, it would be this book. I honestly just cannot adequately describe how much I love this book.
I love each of the sisters in this book and was thoroughly invested in each of their stories. Obviously, as triplets, there were a lot of similarities between them, but they were also each independent and different enough to make their point of view as enthralling and entertaining as the other 2 sisters.
I also found the magic system in this book really entertaining to read about. I haven't seen a lot of magic systems revolving around traditionally 'witchy' aspects like tea leaves and crystal balls, and I thoroughly enjoyed how this book completely leaned into those vibes.
I am hoping beyond hope that there is a sequel to this book or at least another book set in this world, but, regardless, I will be reading anything and everything Stacy Sivinski writes from now until the end of time.
This is the coziest of witchy books I have read in a long time. I loved the magic and the seasonal vibes. The three sisters' sibling relationship was special, but not without its conflicts, like any family. And that house! I need a house like that! I love how the chores that the house completed just blended in with the daily schedule of the tearoom. I loved everything about this story! If you are looking for a cozy, witchy, autumnal read that isn't scary; this is it.
I absolutely adored this book.
This book was everything I was hoping for! The cozy fantasy and whimsical vibes were just right, the dynamic between the sisters was so interesting as it developed through the novel, and the magical element was engaging and intriguing. I was hooked from the very beginning! This story was so wholesome and gave an interesting perspective on fate and destiny.
A huge thank you to the Simon & Schuster Influencer program and NetGalley for providing this ARC!
First things first, can I also have a magical house like the one in this novel, that’ll do my dishes, clean the house and keep me from injuring myself but mostly do my laundry lol I really enjoyed the bond between the sisters. I actually found it endearing how they wanted to stay the same for each other and even willing to sacrifice their desires. Their self-discovery and acceptance of the changes within themselves were a nice display of their character growth. While I appreciated the overall storytelling, I did find that the heavy use of third-person omniscient narration (about 60-70% of the book) made it difficult for me to connect with the characters on a deeper level. I would have loved to see more dialogue between them to make their relationships engaging and more dynamic.
The language was simple and easy to follow, which made it easy to read. There were moments that made me gasp. Overall, this is a solid debut of cozy fantasy read that’s ideal for a laidback reading!
ɱყ 5 🌟 ωเรɦ ℓเรƭ:
* Less third-person omniscient narration and more dialogue between the characters to enhance engagement.
* Quicker pacing in sections like the tea reading scenes, which felt a bit drawn out at times or too many of it

this is such a cozy read, perfect for the fall season! the quigley sisters are clairvoyant owners of a tearoom, but their lives are turned upside when the council of witches gives them what seems to be an impossible task. i was drawn in from the very first chapter and loved getting lost in this world. there was one storyline that focused on a circus and i didn’t care for that as much as the others, but i truly enjoyed this and would love a sequel!
thanks to netgalley and simon & schuster canada for my advance copy of the crescent moon tearoom by stacy sivinski. all opinions are my own.
This just didn't hold my attention very well. It was fine, and I liked the premise. But overall, it almost felt like a middle grade novel in the writing style. Just not enough plot to make it memorable.
Grab a cup of tea and let’s talk about this books future.
This novel was a perfectly cozy fantasy that examines the bonds between love and family. The relationships that hold us back and help us grow.
The magic system is enchanting and I wish I could read more stories from this world. How it works within the real world and the witch’s life without it. To explore more of the magic and hierarchy would be very interesting. The setting and plot is rich and absorbs you into the story.
While the characters were enjoyable I found they weren’t captivating. They were singularly focused about the task and codependency about each other. Also just not a fan of miscommunication tropes.
Overall it’s a good read that’s enjoyable and would read more of the world. The characters of this story could use some development outside of this story to truly become unique and interesting individuals
I’ve never read a book labeled as a cozy fantasy/mystery but I’m glad I took a step out of my usual romance reads. I immediately couldn’t put this down and read it within a day (it was that good!). This is another great read for spooky season but especially if you aren’t fond of anything super spooky. Definitely recommend this one!
Big thanks to Simon & Schuster CA for this ARC provided via Netgalley.
I will say, this is quite a slow start to get into, but once you're in it, it's very good. With the three sisters it was sometimes a touch confusing to stay on track, but once you sort out who's who and what's what it's easy to get into the rhythm. It's a very cozy tale of the sisterhood bond, living life, and choosing adventure. I cried a couple times, as I was really able to relate to the emotions Stacy wrote so eloquently. I was a bit worried things wouldn't go the way I thought they might, but was pleasantly surprised by a couple plot twists and the addition of the "house" being a character kept me on my toes.
Definitely a great little cozy fantasy book with sweet subplots and a touch of witchery.
Such a cute and cozy boom to kick off the fall season!
It was a wonderful story with characters you can relate to
