So this was my 1st ARC on NetGalley it took me a few chapters before I got really into this book but after that i was very interested in it specially about the involved of the US President at that time I like the way it was written sometimes historical fiction can be hard to read because of the time period it is in but this book wasn’t like that if you like reading about American history then this book is for you

Great read! This was a fascinating tale based on true events! So entertaining and suspenseful! I love this author and hate when I have to put her books down and adult! Grab this one!

This is my first read by this (usually) thriller author who is spoken of highly amoung my book group.
I did enjoy the read very much, aside from it being incredibly depressing.
Thank you for the opportunity to provide honest opinion in exchange for a free ARC read.
I wasn't expecting it based on the things I've heard about the authors other works.
I very much enjoy quick thrillers and requested this read solely based on the Author and not the book description.
Many included facts were very interesting and new to me and kept me interested!
It has lead me to do more interesting research on the massacre it is based on; however, historical reads like this aren't really my cup of tea... but it was, honestly, a great read.

Im not much of a fan of reading books that are about the past. However, this one had me hooked after a few chapters. The story is from the 1800’s and it tells stories from a few ladies pov’s. Once you get to know each character you can ease right into the book. Her writing made it play out like I was watching a movie. Such a devastating story.

None Left To Tell
Do not read this one if you are a fan of sweet, sugary, happy-every-after historical fiction fairytales. Never ever read this one if you think books should be about nice and happy events only. Don’t even think about picking up this book if you think that authors who write about really deranged events (that actually happened, btw!) in the most gruesome detail are not alright in the head. Forget you ever heard about this book if your life’s motto is let bygones be bygones and let’s not dwell on the past. Run, run, and make sure you forget you ever saw this book’s cover if you believe that past should stay in the past and it should have nothing to do with you.
Now that I have gotten this off my chest, where were we?
Oh, yes, this book. It’s horrible, it's horribly horror-filled and horribly heart-breaking. It always breaks my heart to find out that there have been actual historical events like this. Yes, this is fiction. Yes, this is historical fiction. But also, yes, it’s based on true events.
In true Noelle Ihli manner, this book will take you places. Places you probably would never ever want to go in real life. In a true Noelle Ihli manner, the book is filled with horror, heartbreak, and pain. But worst of all, the part of being based on true events. That’s something that now lives in my head rent-free.
This is a horror-filled thriller that meets a history book chapter you didn’t know existed and you didn’t know you so desperately needed to read.
Despite its pub date being set to make it a spooky season book (October 10), there is nothing spooky about it.

Also, "We're safe. We're together. We're almost there." It has been MY mantra for years, for decades now. It’s weird seeing it in a book. Said by someone else. My exact words. Word by word.

So amazing I read it in just a few days! Never learned about this is school and I’m glad the story is being told. Cannot wait to recommend to all my bookish friends.

What an incredible and gut wrenching story. I felt so emotionally invested in the characters and the writing really made me feel like I was part of the story. Ihli really stepped it up with this one.

The narrative is inspired by a very grim and true massacre from the mid-19th century. It's surprising to me that I hadn’t heard about it before, considering how intense the subject matter is. Ihli does an excellent job of making the book approachable, even with its pre-Civil War backdrop. It’s definitely a challenging read, the type that leaves a heavy feeling in your chest both during and after finishing it. While it’s not exactly a fast-paced book, the first half is packed with events, and the second half feels a bit disjointed until everything starts to come together, gradually pulling your heart down.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I have to say it was such a powerful story and deserved to be told. I'm not a huge historical fiction fan but this book kept me engaged and wanting to see how things turned out. Some parts were tough to read but to learn something about our history in the United States that I don't feel is told, was powerful. I was up until the middle of the night finishing this one. There's a bit of twist that I didn't see coming that was really interesting.

This book was completed unexpected by me from this author. I would not call it a psychological thriller, however, I would say it is an important book to read. I felt so many emotions reading this books; sadness, joy, outrage, disbelief and the list go on. This is a book that will make you question what you have learned in school and how written history is based on who writes it and not fact. This book is a 5 star read. Difficult to read but important nonetheless.

WOW. Full stop. WOW.
I have been SLEEPING on Noelle West Ihli, y'all. Previously I'd only read Gray After Dark, which is also a phenomenal read that I cannot recommend highly enough.
None Left to Tell is absolutely stunning. This is a masterful work of historical horror that is based on true events. Ihli has clearly meticulously researched these events and poured her heart and soul into this writing. The imagery is beautiful and the story is heartbreaking and gut wrenching. I can say with confidence that I've never read anything like this. I wasn't sure what to expect going into this, but it surpassed all of my expectations and then some.
With several different POVs, None Left to Tell is the story of the Mountain Meadows Massacre, the culmination of tension between three wildly different groups of people. Lucy, Katrina and Sally are three incredible women and their stories captivated me from the first page right until the last pages.
I won't lie, this one was hard to read at times, especially knowing that it was inspired by real life events, but I think that it brings light to an important and little known or discussed event. It is told boldly, it doesn't hide behind itself and it is done with grace and dignity. I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend this one!

This book was so boring. Yeah, there was some murder in it but it wasn’t like her other book I had read. I really struggled to get through this one. I had to push myself to keep going. I’m not going to post on social media as not to not hurt her reviews.

I've read other books by Noelle Ihli, which I loved, they're always so beautifully written and this one is no exception but I found it a bit dull at the beginning (the first half) and unfortunately boring too. The second half was more compelling and interesting, very moving too. It's a well researched book in which the feelings of the author really shine through.

I really enjoyed this book. It kept me entertained the whole time. I appreciate netgalley providing me with this advanced copy!

This was not what I expected from this author. This was more historical than anything. Not the type of thriller I wanted to read from this author. There was a lot of research done while writ8ng this book, the author even gave disclaimers.

I am absolutely love Noelle! I own all her books and usually read them within a day. This book in my opinion, was completely different than her other books, but in a good way. It took me a little while to get into it, but by the end enjoyed it. Can't wait to buy the physical book to add to my shelf.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love Noelle W. Ihli’s work. I feel like this was more historical than her other books and in that sense, so important and needed to be told. The story focuses on the heart wrenching accounts of the Mountain Meadows Massacre. Noelle’s writing made me feel transported back in time.
Thank you to Netgalley, Dynamite Books, and Noelle Ihli for the ARC approval

This book was such a heart wrenching story. I had never heard of this massacre. It was an interesting story that was based on true events, but was very emotional. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC!

This book was so unlike anything I have read or am interested in. I have now read 3 books by this author and they have all been so incredibly different. This was my first historical thriller and it will likely be my last. The main plot point was interesting and kept me reading, but the "twists" were predictable and I felt as though religion was being pushed down my throat. I appreciate bringing the tragedy that the book is based on to light, but this book was just not for me at all.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. This book officially published on 10/10/24!
This book was an emotionally challenging yet extremely important read. Notably, this novel is different from the author’s backlist, which she acknowledges as well. Despite this, the author used her impeccable research skills to create characters that were realistic, characters that the reader feels invested in within the pages. I was deeply moved by the ending of this book and believe it’s an important story to be told as the majority of the fictional book is based on a real event. Ultimately giving this one 4 stars because I found the pacing to be slow at first which made it difficult for me to read the first few chapters, but once I was invested I was all in.
