this is a great follow up to one of my favorite books ever. i really enjoyed seeing the characters in action again and getting to know some of their SOs as well. my only complaint was that it was a bit slow in the middle, but otherwise engaging and entertaining.

Another amazing book with these hilarious ladies. Although the situations find themselves seem mostly implausible, it is still a fun, exciting, and entertaining reading experience!

I didn't love this one as much as I loved Killers of a Certain Age, but it was fun to catch up with the gals and see how they got themselves out of their new peril. Hope there's a 3rd book in the series!

Another fun book about older female assassins. I think it was even better than the first one. ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for a fair review.

For the second time in a row, fun was had. I love the snark in these books, especially as I progress further into middle age, because it's snark coming from a place of being a woman of a certain age who has been in her skin for a long time. We just don't really care what you think of us anymore. I also really loved how capable these women are. They have been killers for decades, and they are wildly good at what they do. They also are unashamed about what their role in the world is, they see themselves as "necessary monsters" and accept that they do what they do to keep more innocent people safe. I think in the next few years, especially as we middle-aged women are having to more and more embrace our sense of rage, more of us are going to find ways to be "necessary monsters".

Loved this sequel to "Killers of a Certain Age." This was a fun return to intrigue and adventure with the smart, funny, and intelligent agents from the Museum. It was also nice to get a glimpse at early missions and Billie's evolution as an agent.

I enjoyed Killers of a Certain Age and was happy to see another book featuring the four female assassins who are in their golden years. The book did not disappoint. It was fun to follow the team across Europe as they were being hunted by someone out to get revenge. Of course, some of the action was over the top but that was offset by how clever the team was in using their individual areas of expertise to recognize clues and stay one step ahead of their hunter.

I had such a good time reading these books! I really enjoyed Killers of a Certain Age, and I'm delighted that it got a sequel, but of course I had to reread before I could continue on, since it has been a few years since I read the first book.

Killers of a Certain Age, I love it. I loved it the first time I read it, and I loved it again! I loved being back with these characters, as they fought to survive. Knowing now that they have a further adventure, I went in knowing that their story wasn't over, and I was eager to continue on!

Kills Well With Others, was just a blast to read! To know that certain promises weren't being held, was pretty annoying. But to have case with a mole, yeah, I had to see what was going to come of it, all the reveals and clever goings on!

We also got more time in the past, which I absolutely loved, to see parts of what made them who they were. Especially where Billy made a mistake and killed someone who wasn't the target. They were more nimble, but they had less experience. These characters are memorable and amazing to read about!

Loved reading these books, and I'll say it again-I would love to spend more time with these characters!

This book picks up right where the last one ended with the four friends on a new adventure. This is the second in the series, and this is one that I definitely think you need to read in order to understand. This book didn’t really have much build up of the characters at all, rather we were dropped right into the action. It was a little unnerving and I wish that the author would have given a little more reminder of who the characters were and how we got where we were. This book was fun in that it had flashbacks into the past which really helped develop the characters further and give some insight. I think that this is a well done book that sheds light into the fact that just because we are aging doesn’t make us incapable or useless. These women are all in their sixties and kicking butt.

If you are looking for an action packed thriller then you need to check this one out.

Four women of a "certain age" are called out of retirement for one last assignment. . They were a well trained group of assassins for a super secret organization known as The Museum. Someone is trying to kill them and there is a mole in The Museum. Get ready for another adventure with these unforgettable ladies.

Always a pleasure to spend time in the world that Raybourn creates. This series would do well to continue with a couple more entries. Characters are fantastic, definitely needs to be optioned.

4.5 stars! KILLS WELL WITH OTHERS cements my love for this series, and I am so thrilled Raybourn wrote a sequel. These four women are so fun to read about, and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them again! This one is every bit as good as the first book - something that RARELY happens. I hope there will be a third!

Our four female senior assassins are back in Kills Well With Others, a worthy follow up to Killers of a Certain Age, where the four longtime colleagues were introduced. In this edition, the four are called back into action when a mole in their organization has disclosed their names identifying them as the killers of a target years ago, whose offspring now want revenge. The Senior ladies take off around the globe trying to track down their hunter, and the reader is taken along on a wild ride as the woman battle all sorts of obstacles (and, humorously, themselves) in this highly entertaining and engaging story. Some of the plot threads get a little confusing, but it all comes nicely together and doesn’t distract from this fun read. This series is highly addictive as it’s impossible not to love the characters and the writing is spot-on with an intelligent plot. Hopefully we see more in this series! I received an ARC of this book from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

The girls are back and this time they need to finish a job before it catches up with them. I love these characters and I totally finished Killers of a Certain Age and was like ... Ok, make this a series!! She listened! Lol. 😍

When a past job comes back to haunt them, the girls get together to take care of it. And they do. Except maybe they didn't get the right person and they are still in danger. Can they figure out who is really after them and why before it's too late?

The whole crew makes an appearance, including the significant others. If you enjoyed the first book, this is equally fun, with a little more of a slow burn.

Read this if you are looking for a mystery that also has great characters!

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for a copy to enjoy.

After a short time apart to try to piece their own lives back together, the four amigos find themselves once more the target of an assassin hit. This time, their case may be off the books for The Museum, but the danger is more official than ever as bullets fly and bodies pile up. Can these four friends, along with a few significant others and a couple of cats, find their way through this new adventure with death?

It was great fun getting back into this world with Billie, Natalie, Mary Alice, and Helen. The characters stayed true to their original motivations, and the sarcasm and personal interactions make this an entertaining read. I can't wait to see how their adventures continue and hope to see if a certain character can find it in herself to finally make a commitment.

Highly recommended for fans of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series and Elle Cosimano's Finlay Donovan series.

If I could give this book MORE STARS I totally would. I loved the first book and was worried she couldn't repeat it for the second but it was even better than the first. I LOVE all of the characters and the flashback chapters to previous kills were entertaining too. I like that there is a mystery of your typical double crosses that go in spy stories but at least this one I could understand. Sometimes I have no idea who's who or what's going on but this book does an excellent job at both - keeping the current action and intensity up as well as the behind the scenes clues. I also love the idea of older women being strong + capable and not frail and decrepit. Can't wait for book #3 in this series.

And her other series Veronica Speedwell always read like YA or middle grade books to me {don't get me wrong, I still loved that series but was always surprised Veronica was an adult and not a child in the way she was portrayed and acted] but this new series is all adult content and doesn't feel like it's about or for kids so definitely like this series way better.

I love that there is another book about these four wild women. Perfect for those who love mystery, crime thrillers, and women who mean business.

This story has the women chasing all over Europe while working with some interesting characters. Some of them are supporting the story well and some will be dead soon. Two of the significant others are included for a bit in the book and add a lot to the story. I did not like how Billie treated her man at all. She was rude and mean and for me that made it tough to see her in a good light.

The author alternates timelines and that actually threw me off a bit, breaking the flow of the story. But the descriptive aspects were awesome. I love the change in locations that suck you in. They are unique and enhance the scenes.

One thing to remember here is that the ladies are supposedly in their 60s. However, their actions do not support that at all! The ladies are a riot together and bicker just like friends would that have known each other for 40 years. They have a history together and we learn how tight that bond truly is.

Kills Well with Others is a fun, action-packed story that is raw and gritty. The author does not shy away from the fact this is a story about killing others. The packs in the detail and ties everything up beautifully.

Billie, Helen, Mary Alice, and Natalie are back. The killers of a certain age (over 60) are a year into retirement when they discover someone is trying to kill them in repayment for an assignment they conducted for The Museum. What follows is an action-packed adventure full of intrigue, foreign travel, disguises, a live chicken, and lots of laughter amid the serious job of stopping a dangerous killer.

I rather enjoyed this book, even more than the first one! With less back story to build we were able to (mostly) focus on the present mystery. I definitely had to suspend my disbelief one or two times but that's why we read!
