An amazing and thrilling follow up to Killers of A Certain Age! If this is the last boom in the series, it'll be bittersweet, but I would love to see more!

I was so excited to see this sequel as the first was one of my favorite reads of the year. I am already recommending this title.

I loved Killers of a Certain Age, so I was excited to read the second in the series. While the antics are still fun, and the personalities of the women shine through, Kills Well with Others was a little slower with more contemplation and explanation. Lots of travel details too, but overall a fun read!

I really enjoyed this sequel to Killers of a Certain Age. This title was a little more somber, a little more inward-looking, but still a rollicking good time. I mean, it's a funny caper novel, but people die, violently, and not off-screen. But somehow it's still ... fun.

Exotic locales, delicious food, and four kick-ass (literally) women in their sixties who off bad guys - what's not to love?

Read Killers of a Certain Age first, or this one won't be as enjoyable. And Raybourn left a tiny sliver of a door open to a third adventure for. Fingers crossed!

I enjoy this new series by her. It's fun to think if middle aged whenever being a terrorist kill cell.

This was just as good as the first one, and I tell all friends to read Killers of a Certain Age. Hope to see more of this crew. After they recover from this adventure of course. Being around the same age as our killers, I really enjoy these stories.

I love the idea of these books but once I started reading, I remembered what parts is disliked about the last book.

The plot of a group of elderly assassins is equally hilarious and intriguing. These four women have a history together and a bond that I would hope not many friendships share. I love their friendship, their thought process during assignments and their allegiance to their careers. I don’t love the amount of times I had to google the language in this book and how many different cities and countries were passed through- it was so confusing. I literally have no clue where they ended up at the end of this book because so many places were mentioned.

I have to say the ending was not as predictable as I anticipated which was a fun little twist, but it seemed like it took way too long to get to a resolution. I enjoyed the first book more as a standalone.

This is the second book in the Killers of a Certain Age series.

I was so happy to be reunited with Billie, Helen, Mary Alice and Natalie as they take a break from retirement and kick back into assassin mode.

This time they are tasked with stopping a revenge plot, and yes, they are the targets. It is thought that the son of a former hit they made years back is taking out everyone who was involved in that hit and that they are being helped by a colleague from their mystery organization “The Museum”. Finding out who this mole is is the end game.

This book still has the Golden Girls meets James Bond vibe. I loved all the witty banter, action, and the family feels they give as a group of friends that talk about their relationships and history.

Billie is the narrator and once again they are on a cruise tracking down a killer, the descriptions of their get up are hilarious and the author does a fantastic job describing the situations they are in and how they are handling them, given that these women are in their sixties.

We also follow them to Montenegro, Venice and Egypt throughout this story, getting flashbacks as well from previous hits that tie into the current one. The flow of the book was great, pacing was also great.
I recommend you read the first book before you read this one, you don’t have to, they do work as stand alone too but there’s just something about being introduced to the 4 bad ass women and getting a feel for them in the first book that I feel makes the second book that much more fun.

Many thanks to @netgalley for this eARC!

This was even better than the first book of the series which I loved. I loved being back in the world with these hilarious and badass women.

I was delighted to see a book two in this series and hope there are a dozen more to come. I love these ladies and seeing how the stories blend and further develop who they are and WHY they are the way they are was just the cherry on top of a delicious sundae. It was just as good as the first and I'm ready for the next!

When I saw that this was coming out, I was excited! I loved "Killers of a Certain Age" to the point that I got several other people reading it, so this will be a fun book club book in March/April!

Why must people keep trying to kill these elderly ladies? Four retired assassins cannot seem to get out of the killing game. If you enjoyed the first book in the series, then you will enjoy this one even more. Filled with fun, humor, and intrigue, this book is a must read.

I really enjoyed "Killers of a Certain Age", especially since I am too! Really, really happy to get a sequel, "Kills Well with Others" and overall very pleased with it! The Fabulous Four sixty-something assassins are at it agin - very "Ocean's Eight" meets a certain "Murder Club" (IYKYK). Fun, and very entertain - I had a great time read it - a perfect sequel! Many thanks to the publisher and Net Galley for my advanced readers copy - my sincere pleasure to review it!!

I am so glad to see this series continue. The crew of retired assassins is back at it (always enjoy the flashback scenes too) and don't show any signs of slowing down. Thank you Netgalley.

I loved Killers of a Certain Age, so it was exciting to find out there is a sequel. Billie, Helen, Mary Alice, and Natalie are once again called back on the job for an assassination and find out they are also being hunted. There is a mole in the Museum who sold them out to somebody who wants revenge for an old job. To fill the reader in on the backstory, we get a lot of flashbacks to the 1980s, which I really enjoyed and much prefer to a bunch of exposition. In the current timeline, the gals are on the move most of the time, first taking a transatlantic cruise and then a train through Eastern Europe. The storyline is good and just twisty enough, but the real treat is the interplay between the characters. I really enjoyed this book and hope Raybourn brings back our gals for another adventure.

Billie, Helen, Mary Alice, and Natalie are back in business hunting a mole in the "Museum," and seeking out the killer of a former agent.

They find themselves on the list and travel the QE2 to solve it.

The book bounced back and forth between current time and past. I found this not just confusing but irritating.

I think it would be fun to have a story frame with the older woman, but the entire story is about a past adventure.

Not as good as the first.

I absolutely loved Kills Well with Others, the second book in the Killers of a Certain Age series. It felt like Jason Bourne but with a group of super-smart, skilled, and sassy women in their 60’s.

The story once again follows Billie, Helen, Mary Alice, and Natalie as they join back up to deal with the newest threat. They jet (as well as travel by ship, train, and car) to many different locations as they follow leads in this exciting and twisting adventure. They are joined periodically by some familiar friends which I especially enjoyed.

The settings of the story were truly a chef’s kiss, I loved the way the author described the locations. These were often the calm before the storm of the action, the pace ebbed and flowed really well. I also loved the nitty gritty of what goes into the work they do, I enjoyed the extra detail and thought that really helped to draw the reader in.

The story is not just about the situation they find themselves in but about their lives, friendships, and relationships. It is about the history they share and the bond they have, they are a family and bicker like one too. “She eyed me up and down. ‘Don’t think that just because we’ve been friends for forty years, I won’t inflict harm on you.’”

It’s been a couple of years since I read the first book so my memory is hazy, but this one felt a little more contemplative. Billie is thinking though her life and choices which felt like it added some depth. My only slight quibble was that the flashbacks broke up the flow, but they commonly do and were important to the overall story. Highly recommend!

Thank you to the publisher Berkley Publishing Group, Deanna Raybourn, and NetGalley for the gifted digital ARC to review in exchange for my honest review.

Thanks to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group for this digital ARC.

Our favorite menopausal assasins are back!! I was thrilled to read this second installment in their adventures. It has been over a year since Billie, Helen, Mary Alice, and Natalie's last adventure. You can jump in at this book, but do yourself a favor... drop everything and read book one first. You will not be disappointed! Deanna Raybourn is a mastermind.

I realized a few chapters in that I actually didn't remember much about book one outside of the characters.

Kills well with others is a quick read with lots of humor and killer banter (pun intended). With my scatterbrain I'd say you could read it as a standalone but would greatly recommend getting book one first.
