This book is going to change the course of families. Not only does Greta Eskridge tackle a heavy subject, she does so with grace and wisdom. Navigating this topic with our children is of vital importance and given the tools Greta shares, we are going to be well equipped to do so. This book is wonderful no matter what the age of your children. Each chapter gives talking points and conversation prompts, as well as personal stories, that will make talking about this subject with your children, no matter their age, something that feels manageable. Her words empower parents to address the spiritual, emotional, and mental consequences of porn use and allows parents and children the ability to make healthy decisions in ways that honor others in their thoughts and actions. I highly recommend this book to anyone with children that wants to ensure their children not only see the value and unique blessing sexuality is in themselves, but also in other humans.

This is an informative and encouraging book.
Eskridge gives great examples of how to talk with our kids, even giving a sample script for each topic based on age of child. There's an index of these scripts so you can easily refer to them in the future. Compassion is stressed, in order that our children will come to us with their questions or problems. The book ends with "Important Concepts" such as specific examples of "media literacy," and a Resource Guide of books and sites to help us further.
We don't need to ruin our kids' innocence, yet we do need to prepare them for our tech-heavy world. It's Time to Talk to Your Kids About Porn helps us with this necessary task! Highly recommended!
I received an eARC of this book from NetGalley. Opinions are my own. I found it to be valuable and have purchased a copy for our home library.

Greta is my hero. She has impressed me once again with this book. Is this a book that everyone WANTS to read? No. But this is a book everyone NEEDS to read, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, church staff, and anyone who works with kids. Greta is such an amazing resource and helps you feel confident in talking to your kids about this tough subject. Obviously parents need to be the ones having this conversation but anyone else should be reading it for knowledge and awareness. I am so thankful for the work that Greta does and hope that others will join this battle!

This book is a must for each and every parent. This topic is so important, especially in our day and age. Greta shares a lot of hard-hitting information about the effects of Porn. She runs through this and many similar hard-hitting topics, the effects, but most importantly how to start the conversations and talk about it with your kids. She even lays out sample dialogue, the key concept to focus on, and has it divided up specifically for different age ranges. Greta touches on this subject with hard & brutal truths, but she is compassionate every step of the way and consistently brings in Bible verses all through out when discussing these hard topics. There is so much richness in this book, from the talking points to key concepts, to the numerous amounts of resources outside of this book she directs you to at the end. A job very well done, I will be recommending this to every parent I know.

You need to read this book! It is an absolute necessity to understand the monumental problem that young people face in this arena. Pornography, masturbation, sexting, social media, smart phones--Greta addresses it all with grace & respect. Greta is a force in this battle. Her passion is to see a generation of well-equipped parents raise a generation of well-equipped kids. We don't naturally want to talk about these things. They're uncomfortable topics, but we need to talk about them. Our kids need us to get past the discomfort & be safe adults. "Conversation is the number one tool in protecting our kids from pornography," Greta says. This book offers tools for those conversations and hope for families that feel like this is a insurmountable task. Please read this book & recommend it to your friends & ask your church leaders to read it, too!

As a mother of a young child, this book is and willbe very helpful as I navigate hard conversations. It provided concrete examples that was very helpful i found d myself stopping and having some convos with my child and then applying some of the concepts throughout the day. Talk about a book that is applicable immediately!
